Stabbity Bunny is a Supernatural Horror Comic Book by Richard Rivera.
At first glance, Grace seems like an ordinary little girl living in the town of Holiday, Vermont. However, this girl has a secret. You see that stuffed bunny of hers? You wouldn't know it, but that bunny is a family heirloom that's been passed down through Grace's family for generations... and is imbued with supernatural magical powers that it uses to protect its host from the paranormal threats that are always coming for her and her family.
So, yeah, not quite the ordinary little girl you thought she was, is she?
The comic was published on March 7th, 2018.
Stabbity Bunny contains examples of:
- Evil Redhead: Larry has red hair, and abducted and later tried to kill Grace, a child.
- Fat Bastard: Larry, who kidnapped Grace from the zoo in Issue #1, is a very fat man.
- Gory Discretion Shot: At least in the first issue, when Stabbity kills Larry, we don't see the carnage so much as we see a knife and splattering blood.
- Handguns: Amanda takes one when she drives off to meet Larry.
- Killer Teddy Bear: Stabbity Bunny didn't get his name for nothing.
- Limerick: All the narration text boxes are framed as limerick lyrics.
- Mama Bear: When Grace's mother realizes her daughter is in danger, she goes for her armory.
- Shout-Out: One of the cover variants for Issue #7
is modeled after the poster for AKIRA. - Soul Jar: Stabbity Bunny may be one, seeing as, at the end of Issue #1, we see Larry pounding against the inside of Stabbity's eye.
- Would Hurt a Child: After getting his ransom money, Larry decides to kill Grace to hide the evidence that he abducted her.
