Adventureman is a 2020 comic book written by Matt Fraction and with art by Terry Dodson.
The comic follows Claire Connell, a single mother that has lost most of her hearing who bonded with her son through their shared love for the "Adventureman" series of books, telling the story of a group of superpowered individuals in their battle against Baron Bizarre. She is a member of a huge family, and despite their love, she feels that her sisters are far above her league with their various high-end or humanitarian jobs.
One day, she comes across a strange woman with an Adventureman book she's never seen and gives it to her, trapping her into a series of strange events that may be making her into the reincarnation of the Adventureman.

- Affirmative-Action Legacy: The male Adventureman's powers are transferred to the female Claire Connell. Furthermore, while the Adventureman crew was quite diverse already, the Connell's family are even more so, being mostly adopted from all over the world.
- Doomsday Clock: Adventureman's lair has a literal one, which indicates the level of threat they're dealing with closing in to the endtimes.
- Downer Beginning: The comic begins with the story of Adventureman's crew finally falling to Baron Bizarre's plan, and Adventureman himself dying by the villain's hands. And then it turns out it was just a story, the final one of the Adventureman's books.
- With Great Power Comes Great Hotness: Claire looks pretty good from the start, but once she gets her Adventureman's powers, she out of nowhere gains 15 centimeters of height and a lot of lean muscle.
