- Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: No matter how much of a headache Bee can be, A does love him and if you threaten Bee, he will kill you.
- Secret Relationship: With Mabui. Publicly, the relationship between him and his secretary is purely professional; in reality, the two could have gotten married ages ago, and the only reason they aren't is due to A's paranoia of the countless enemies he has.
Bee Killer
- Beware the Silly Ones: Don't let his terrible rapping and Butt-Monkey status fool you. He is still an elite jonin and a master swordsman.
- Scabbard thinks he could handle at least one Akatsuki member on his own. And this is Post time-skip.
- Butt-Monkey: His bad rapping, being constantly compared to Gai by Konoha nin, his students having no respect for him as a person, gets beaten up by his older brother constantly... yeah. When you're considered to be the Kumo equivalent of Gai (simply by replacing "YOUTH!" with rapping), it'd be strange if you aren't this.
- Cool Swords: The Queen's Guard, a set of custom swords made by Scab.
- Let's Get Dangerous!: If he stops rapping, then it means he's being 100% serious.
- Spanner in the Works: His decision to go to the Land of Iron's swordsman competition makes thing even more complicated.
Yugito Nii
- G-Rated Drug: Apparently really enjoys catnip, enough so that Scab thinks it might be unhealthy.
- Naked First Impression: To Scabbard, because she Sleeps in the Nude.
C
- Butt-Monkey: Scabbard inflicts this on him for stalking him.
- Stalker without a Crush: Acted as one to Scab... and suffered greatly for it.
Darui
- Cool Sword: A custom work by Scabbard that enhances his Storm Element.
- The Stoner: Pretty much required to deal with A and Bee. Scabbard supplies him.
Karui
- Only Sane Man: Acted as this during the Iron mission to Omoi and Atsui.
Omoi
- Insane Troll Logic: Some of his worry rants can get pretty damn strange.
Atsui
- The Friend Nobody Likes: Everyone finds him annoying.
