Title: The First Hokage
Status: Deceased but currently revived via the Edo Tensei
- Adaptation Relationship Overhaul: Now that Madara is free of Izuna's brainwashing, Hashirama and him are back to being best friends.
- Arch-Enemy: History says it's Madara. They're wrong. Hashirama's real Arch-Enemy is Izuna, who sabotaged all of Hashirama's attempts to bridge peace between their clans and eventually ended up brainwashing Hashirama's best friend (and Izuna's brother no less) into betraying their village. He also he had a creepy obsession with Hashirama's wife Mito, and it's outright stated Izuna tried to corner her alone multiple times so he could rape her. The only reason Hashirama didn't immediately waste him when they meet again in the story is because he thought Madara should have the first shot.
Tobirama Senju

Title: The Second Hokage
Status: Deceased but currently revived via the Edo Tensei
- Adaptation Relationship Overhaul: Madara and him don't outright hate each other in this story. They don't necessarily like each other, but they can still be cordial. This is for two reasons: one, Izuna didn't actually die and instead faked his death with Madara's (probably brainwashed) help, and two, Madara didn't betray Konoha willingly but was instead brainwashed into doing so by Izuna.
- Arch-Enemy: Izuna. Unlike Hashirama, who felt more disgusted by Izuna than anything else, Tobirama hated Izuna on a personal level and the feeling was very mutual. He was the one who took the initiative to thwart Izuna's attempts to rape Mito — not because Hashirama wasn't concerned, but because Tobirama enjoyed cockblocking Izuna whenever he could.
- My Greatest Failure:
- The Edo Tensei. Tobirama doesn't say it out loud, but it's obvious he regrets ever creating the jutsu in the first place.
- Danzo. To the point that Madara outright calls Danzo 'Failure of Tobirama' when they meet. The only reason Tobirama has yet to confront Danzo himself is due to his own pragmatism.
Hiruzen Sarutobi
Hiruzen Sarutobi
Title: The Third Hokage
Status: Retired
- Arch-Enemy: Paperwork. Considering that Sarutobi has been a Kage longer than anyone else in history with the probable exception of Onoki, he has every reason to hate paperwork.
- Ancient Conspiracy: As a disciple of the First and Second Hokages, he is part of the "grand master plan" to place the world under the thrall of the Log, and confirms to his temporarily revived masters that the entire village has been ensnared.
- Cool Old Guy: Pushing seventy and still capable of handing Kakashi his ass.
- Dirty Old Man: Confirmed to have the Golden Deluxe edition of Icha Icha in his office.
- Kill It with Fire: Had Sarutobi been Hokage any longer or not learned the secret to defeating paperwork (shadow clones), he eventually would have snapped and burned the entire Hokage Tower to the ground in a blind rage in order to get rid of all it. The ANBU even had a betting pool over it, supported by footage of him muttering to himself in an unstable manner.
- Konohamaru, when watching him nap, would often find him muttering in his sleep about "burning it all." It was very funny.
- Retired Badass: And hopefully, this time for good. If anyone deserves it, he does, considering that he's probably done more for this village than the First and Second Hokages combined.
- Troll: The last thing he did before retiring was send a picture to Onoki of himself chilling in the corner while shadow clones did all the paperwork.
- With Great Power Comes Great Insanity: Outright admitted that being Hokage for so long drove him insane; thankfully, he manages to channel it in more productive and/or harmless ways.
Minato Namikaze
Title: The Fourth Hokage
Status: Deceased but revived and "living" in Naruto's mindscape
- Only Sane Man: Out of Naruto, Kushina, Kurama, and himself, Minato is clearly the most normal and well-adjusted out of all of them.
Tsunade Senju
Title: The Fifth Hokage
Status: Still in office, exasperated and probably drunk.
- D-Cup Distress: Knows how to overcome it: basic chakra control to keep them from hanging too low.
- Official Couple: Finally got together with Jiraiya.
