The list of playable aircraft in World of Warplanes. Like its' cousin games World of Tanks and World of Warships, the aircrafts are divided into several types:
- Fighters, agile and lightly armored plane for destroy soft airborne targets and ground target defense.
- Multirole Fighters are capable of assaulting ground targets and shooting down airborne targets.
- Heavy Fighters are durable and powerful but slow in maneuvering, excellent at making quick strikes on ground targets and intercepting enemy heavy aircraft.
- Attack Aircraft quickly destroy ground targets in sectors by firing with large-calibre cannons and outboard weapons, or bombing from high-altitudes.
- Bombers, new addition in October 2017 "World of Warplanes 2.0" update, are large warplanes dedicated to bombing ground targets from high-altitudes, relying on more agile warplanes for protection. They have special bomb camera mode to aim their ordinance.
