The Gunslinger
The Gunslinger
Played By: Yul Brynner
- Bald of Evil: He's a shiny-headed Robotic Psychopath.
- Determinator: It's nigh-impossible to stop him.
- Evil Sounds Deep: Well, he is played by Yul Brynner.
- Griefer: He's actually a team-calculated example in that he exists to piss off the human patrons and get shot down in gunfights.
- Jerkass: The Gunslinger is programmed to be an asshole, since his purpose is to instigate duels with the guests.
- Rule of Three: He attacks three times, and on the third, becomes deadly.
- Shout-Out: His design and outfit seems to be a Shout-Out (likely In-Universe) to Brynner's character from The Magnificent Seven.
- Super-Powered Robot Meter Maids: The excessive tracking skills he's installed with seem unnecessary for a robot who's job is basically to confront people in Quick Draw gunfights which he then loses.
Peter
Peter Martin
Played By: Richard Benjamin
- Sole Survivor: The sole human survivor.
- Took a Level in Badass: Certainly by the time of the second shootout with the Gunslinger. He doesn't even hesitate to kick down a door. Granted, given the circumstances, it's really more of "Getting a Feel for the Game," but still.
John
John Blane
Played By: James Brolin
- Enforced Method Acting: According to IMDb Trivia, Brolin was actually bitten by that snake, albeit only by its lower teeth.
- Precision F-Strike: After being bitten by the rattlesnake.John: What the hell!? Goddammit, that's not supposed to happen!
- Sacrificial Lamb: His death at the Gunslinger's hands show that no one is safe in Westworld anymore.
Chief Supervisor
The Chief Supervisor
Played By: Alan Oppenheimer
- Retroactive Recognition: One of the actors to play Rudy Wells on The Six Million Dollar Man. Might even have been Actor Allusion at the time he was cast as Wells.
- Too Dumb to Live: He orders all the power cut, despite (a) the fact that the robots run on batteries and (b) the control room only gets air if the power is on.
