Oh Joonyeong

  • Childhood Friend Romance: With Woo-jin.
  • Insecure Love Interest: Fears that his hambie status makes him a danger to Woo-jin, while also being afraid that if he stays away for too long, Woo-jin will eventually move on and fall for someone else.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: The moment he learns that Woo-jin has met and allied with a new boy, he becomes afraid of his boyfriend moving on. The first thing he notes about Jaeseok, besides his unfamiliarity, is that he is handsome.
  • Walking Spoiler: The summary sells the story as being about Woojin's grief. Like Woojin, the reader spends most of the first chapter believing Joonyeong has perished and Woojin has to move on. The fact that half the chapters are from Joonyeong's perspective would probably indicate that he's not so dead after all.

Jang Woojin

  • Childhood Friend Romance: With Joon-yeong.
  • Despair Event Horizon: In the first chapter, Woo-jin becomes severely depressed in the aftermath of his boyfriend's death.
  • Internal Reveal: Woo-jin doesn't learn that Joon-yeong is alive until the end of chapter four.
  • The Mourning After: Loves Joon-yeong dearly and is striken with grief when he thinks he's died. Even as Woo-jin starts to recover, he still knows that Joon-yeong will be the only boy he loves for a long time.
  • Secret Relationship: Keeps his love for Joonyeong a secret even after his 'death' from everyone except the Oh's and Jaeseok.
