The characters of Wai Wai World
Konami Man
- Good Old Fisticuffs: Konami Man fights enemies by punching them.
- Ornamental Weapon: KM's seen in official Konami artwork that he has a holstered pistol. The player has the option to not use it.
Konami Lady
- Action Girl: Konami Lady fights alongside Konami Man, although the game will make you change to either character unless you play as her in two player mode.
- Kick Chick: KL fights by facing enemies with kicks.
Simon Belmont III
- All There in the Manual: Konami-Pub Wai Wai World Guidebook and Tokuma Shoten Wai Wai World Guidebook give the full name of the Castlevania hero as Simon Belmont III, implying that he is rather the original character's descendent.
- Difficult, but Awesome: Simon has the slowest attack speed (albeit with excellent range to make traversing in the Goonies stage easier) and his Holy Cross subweapon takes five whooping weapon point. However, it can hit bosses multiple times in one shot, making Simon a hard to use character normally, but very vital in demolishing bosses.
- Identical Grandson: Sprites wise, he looks like the original Simon Belmont.
Waruda
- Big Bad: Responsible for kidnapping the other Konami heroes and gathering their enemies to work together.
