Riffers
General
- Deadpan Snarker: Every riffer is one to some extent.
Story (Storygirl000)
- Author Avatar
- Covert Pervert: Apparently spends portions of her free time looking up...risque Ben/Rex pictures.
- Large Ham: Slips into this at times.
- Ship Tease: Evidence suggests that she has a crush on Ben.
Ben Tennyson
- Composite Character: According to Word of God, he has his Omniverse design and his Alien Force seasons 1-2 personality.
- "Eureka!" Moment: Has one when he figures out that Prayer and Miracles is a Troll Fic.
- Heroic Sacrifice: Attacks Grace Ann in order to let Story and Pinkie escape.
- Only Sane Man: Compared to the rest of the cast, he’s this.
- Voluntary Shapeshifter: Comes up on occasion.
- Would Hurt a Child: While he was probably joking, he does bring up the (hypothetical) possibility of setting a lion on Prayer and Miracles!Harry and Hermione.
Sashi Kobayashi
- Blood Knight: Brutally beats up David for what he did to Harry Potter.
- Curse Cut Short: When Grace Ann is about to possess her:"Oh, f–"
- Would Hurt a Child: Offers to help Prayer and Miracles!Harry get to Heaven by stabbing him.
Human Pinkie Pie
- Cloud Cuckoolander: Just like in canon.
- Drives Like Crazy: Though we have yet to see this, Sashi claims that she's "a road hazard on par with Spongebob".
- Final Girl: The last one standing against Grace Ann by the end of the Prayer and Miracles riff.
- Genki Girl: Yep.
- Having a Blast: Retains her canonical ability to make sugar explode.
- Hidden Depths: She’s a practicing Christian and a licensed exorcist.
- Hollywood Exorcism: She can do this, courtesy of lessons from Father Merrin himself.
Dib Membrane
- Berserk Button: Screwing up the established mythos of anything supernatural is enough to rile him up.
- I Need a Freaking Drink: His response to finding out that "Prayer and Miracles" is a Troll Fic? Forge an ID and find a bar.
- Perpetual Frowner: Apparently this, to the point that the fact that he’s smiling at all is enough to alert the other riffers that he might be possessed.
- Screw This, I'm Out of Here!: Tries to pull this when FrolloFreak puts an age limit on one of her chapters, but Story stops him before he can leave.
Lewis Pepper
- Noodle Incident: How he apparently resolved his problems with Arthur and Vivi is never explained, as Mystery Skulls Animated wasn't completed at the time of his introduction.
- Our Ghosts Are Different: Dib describes him as a "level 10 rage spirit".
- Sixth Ranger: Joins the riffers partway through their third fic.
Kat (AirLetsMeLive, formerly TheTrashyKat)
- A Dog Named "Dog": A cat named Kat.
- Funny Animal: A talking grey cat.
- Guest-Star Party Member: Takes over for an episode while the others are dealing with Grace Ann.
- Little Sister Heroine: Story's little sister (let's not ask how this is possible) who briefly becomes the protagonist.
- Sir Swears-a-Lot: Swears the most out of any cast member.
Ragdoll the Mimikyu
- Batter Up!: Chases Dib with a baseball bat in the beginning of episode 10.
- Killer Rabbit: Don't let her small size and cuteness fool you; she's been trained by Sashi, after all.
- Our Fairies Are Different: Part Fairy type.
- Our Ghosts Are Different: Part Ghost type.
- Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: Seems to hate Dib for no reason.
- Team Pet: The unofficial one for the UTR crew.
Villains
David
The OC from Harry Potter Turns to the Lord who converts Harry Potter to Christianity.
- Cruel and Unusual Death: Implied to be his final fate.
- Ephebophile: Suspected of being one by the cast.
- We Hardly Knew Ye: Only gets a few lines before dying at Sashi's hands.
Grace Ann Parsons
The author of Hogwarts School of Prayer and Miracles, a matronly Christian woman who wants to be a mommy to everyone. Oh, and she converts "heretics" through possession.
- Churchgoing Villain: Ya think?
- Demonic Possession: What she does to the riffers sans Pinkie Pie.
- Faux Affably Evil: She's kind of unhinged, but hides that behind a motherly personality.
- Hoist by His Own Petard: Ultimately defeated by the only practicing Christian in the cast.
- Hypocrite: Claims women are special and unique and only suited for housework and motherhood.
- Wake-Up Call Boss: Much harder to beat than David.
