Akuta
Voiced by: Kazuya Nakai
The protagonist of Lost Flag. He's suddenly emerged from robot aka Abh-Kamu. Just like Hakuowlo and Haku, he has no memories in the beginning of the story, the only thing he knows for sure is that he is a Human.

Angst? What Angst?: Seem to take it's rather well when informed that most Humanity is already wiped out, justified that the said knowledge won't get him anywhere in the current situation. - Butt-Monkey: Seem to be trait that run among the series protagonist.
- Face of a Thug: Downplayed but he is arguably look less attractive compared to previous protagonists.
- Mask of Power: Like previous protagonist he has a mask that can't be removed. However his mask is black and smaller compare to Hakuolwlo and Haku who has a white mask and cover half of their face.
- Nice Guy: He is willing to put up a lot of things just to help his friends or innocent people.
Minagi

Voiced by: Atsumi Tanezaki
The heroine of Lost Flag. A Princess of Karaza and the first person Akuta meet after his is awake from the slumber.
Tropes associated with Minagi:
- BFG: Her Summer version carry a big bamboo cannon.
- Big Eater: She eats a lot.
- Blood Magic: Her blood can heal most wound including a fatal one it's also can cure a disease with a few exception.
- Cast from Hit Points: As she is using blood to heal people this mean she has to hurts herself by doing so. It's also carry into her gameplay.
- Horned Humanoid: She has a dragon horn behind her ears.
- Lonely Rich Kid: It's clear that she's somewhat long for parent's love. She is much in delight when Crow told her that she can call him a father.
- Loved by All: She is well-loved by people in Karaza.
- Nice Girl: One of the nicest characters in the cast.
Kuuran
A young orphans from the slum who join Akuta's group after their encountered.

- Dude Looks Like a Lady: He look pretty feminine. That's it if he were a boy to begin with.
Natoriitori
Voiced by: Lynn
A Mechanical Doll dispatched to observes on Akuta. Though having a machine body she has a soul as of that human.

- Androids Are People, Too: Akuta can't help but treats her as one.
- Aren't You Going to Ravish Me?: Not really but when Akuta back down and say sorry after she told him that asking to see her ears is such a pervert act. She immediately follow by asking him if he doesn't really want to see her's.
- Deadpan Snarker: Occasionally having one for Akuta.
- Not So Stoic: She tend to act like she is an Emotionless Girl but Akuta often draws other side of her.
- Rescue Romance: She starts to open up to Akuta after he stand up for her when she was get looked down and treated poorly by other Decoy.
- Ridiculously Human Robots: She acts and behave the same way as normal human does.
- Tsundere: Downplayed but it's there and mostly towards Akuta.
Suzuri

A girl with suspicious atmosphere who approached Akuta,

- Asian Fox Spirit: Her overall design however as she is from Shakukopolu race, her design can as well considered based on a Moon Rabbit.
- Because You Were Nice to Me: After she was gravely injured and save by the kids and later Akuta and Minagi.
- The Tease: She often tease Akuta with her appearance on the other hands she can't handle getting teased herself.
NPC Characters
Orishiro
Voiced by: Mariya Ise
Minagi's mother. The ruler of Karaza. Who said to has a power equal to the god themselves. She has a very unstable personality and will sometimes behave likes a completely different person.
Tropes associated with Orishiro:
- Absurdly Youthful Mother: She look even younger than her daughter, Minagi.
- Ax-Crazy: She is very unstable to say the least. Akuta almost died by her hand if it weren't Minagi using her blood to save him during the first chapter.
- Cloudcuckoolander: One of her unstable personality.
- Foreshadowing: This animated short
implied that there more to her and Minagi than just a simple mother-daughter relationship. - Killer Rabbit: She look pretty cute right?...wait did she just slaughter people while smiling?
- Mind Manipulation: She can apparently able to cause people to become a Blood Knight just by her mere presence. Akuta is seem to be immune to this for an unknown reason.
- Mood-Swinger: She can easily went from caring or flirting to murdering.
- Parental Neglect: It's mention that there is almost no affection between her and Minagi but then again, due to her unpredictable personality, it's unclear whenever she actually care for her. Minagi herself also show to respects her.
- Razor Floss:
- Superpower Lottery: Not even Crow know where her power come from and said that her power are off the chart from regular decoy by wide margin.
Ienaga
The Crow
A Black crow with three legs who claimed to be Akuta's father. He is in fact an Onvitaikayan (human) and one of the scientist that created Decoy in the past.
Tropes associated with Crow:
- For Science!: A lot of his motivation come for this and sometimes borderline Mad Scientist.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He can be pretty blunt at times but he meant well and say sorry if he feel like he went too far.
- Luke, I Am Your Father: He claimed that Akuta is his biological son. Akuta however doesn't totally buy it at first.
- He also allows Minagi to call him a father (As Decoy was technically created by him) much to her delight.
- Was Once a Man: Used to be a Human before transfer his soul into the crow.
