Characters That Exist Over Multiple Titles In Project
Untitled
Untitled
- Author Avatar: Subverted, while Untitled is the creator of Project, Farfromtile's real Author Avatar is a green tile with arms and legs. The true meaning of Untitled's role as Project's creator is that of The Chessmaster.
- Big Bad / Big Good: One of these, depending on which side of his Ambiguously Evil nature he ends up landing on.
- Dragon-in-Chief: In the past he worked as a servant to Hera. However, he makes it abundantly clear that he was the one in control then.
The Collective Consciousness
The Collective Consciousness
- Mind Hive: Follows the complete actions of the entire viewerbase of Project.
Undertale Alpha
Toriel
Toriel
- Dead All Along: Underwent a Kill and Replace by Hera long before the story started.
Napstablook
Napstablook
- Shown Their Work: In an all-out fight, Napstablook would likely be the toughest character in all of Undertale to kill, due to them being immune to damage and having some incredibly powerful bullet patterns. In the Conflict ending of Alpha, they manage to easily fend off Hera, allowing Frisk to escape the ruins.
Spoiler Character
Hera
A "Nobody" that has killed Toriel and is attempting to impersonate her. Has a history with Untitled.
- Helping Hands: One of her attacks involves these.
- Suicide by Cop: Tries to get you to kill her by removing all the buttons apart from FIGHT. Then, after finding out that every time that a FIGHT happens it misses, she instead replaces them with OBEY. This doesn't work either.
- Walking Spoiler: Her very existence IS The Reveal.
Rupturedtale
Jack Penthos
Jack Penthos
- The Empath: In a literal sense, as he has the soul trait of Empathy. Not like you'd know from a glance, though.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold

Madjick
Madjick
Knight Knight
Knight Knight
- Adaptational Badass: In the original Undertale, she was just a random encounter. Here, she's the final boss of the ruins.
- Early-Bird Boss: Most of her attacks are the same ones from her original version in Undertale. Main difference is that here you encounter her in the first area not the last.
- Wake-Up Call Boss: If you'd pardon the pun. Her battle theme is even called "Wake Up Call".

Doge
Doge
Ninty
Ninty
- Super Prototype: Justified, Doge created Ninty by accident. All the other 98 units are attempts to find out what made him so perfect and recreate it.
98 Robotics
98 Robotics
- Replacement Scrappy: In-Universe, they are met with much more distaste and abrasion by the residents of Snowdin than the Canine Unit that they were built to replace
