Tedrick Inazuma
The Slayer of Lightning. He's the hotheaded leader of the Dragon Slayers and Ren's best friend. Though short-tempered, he has a strong sense of justice. He has a Defect where he "short circuits" whenever he's angry or upset. Fearing he may lose control of his powers, Inazuma locked him inside of a bubble for the majority of his childhood. When he was finally allowed to leave the Lightning Dimension, he was so entranced by his surroundings in the Life Dimension (Earth) that he decided to protect it. His childhood led him to value freedom and to be strongly against restriction, hence his fury at Mizu for imprisoning Kano for a false vision. Despite this, it has also led to him actually wanting to be confined in an enclosed space as a form of security when upset.
- All-Loving Hero: He tried his best to love Inazuma and Denkō despite their abuse, but gave up upon discovering their intent to Kill All Humans.
- Dumb Blonde: Indirectly called one by Ren during the latter's Test Of Character.
- Emotional Powers: The more intensely he feels his emotions (especially anger), the stronger his powers become.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: His main characteristic.
- Heel–Face Turn: While he was never evil himself, he didn't realize the dragons were evil until he saw Denkō attack innocent humans. That's when he betrayed them.
- Idiot Hero: Subverted. He's not an idiot per se, but he is impulsive enough to considered as such.
- Shock and Awe: Can produce and control lightning and electricity.
Ren Tetsu
The Slayer of Iron. He's the knowledgeable second-in-command of the Dragon Slayers and Tedrick's best friend. His logical nature acts as a lightning rod to Tedrick's unpredictability. He suffers from anxiety disorder and has an attack whenever his powers don't work. Tetsu sent him to the Life Dimension in order to locate Eve, but he got an anxiety attack when Seikatsu (from within Eve) stole his mask, which he needs to use his powers. Eve pitied him and took him in, earning his loyalty and friendship.
- Extra-ore-dinary: Can control metal for as long as he's in contact. Hence his metal mask.
- Magical Eye: Subverted. His left eye turns blue whenever he uses his powers, but the eye itself doesn't have any powers.
- Nervous Wreck: Becomes this if his powers stop working courtesy of his anxiety.
- Only Sane Man: He was against fighting Dallas as he was suspicious of the latter's interest in Eve.
Eve Seikatsu-Camby
The Slayer of Life. She's the kind healer of the Dragon Slayers. She loves all living things and believes that humans' hearts are naturally pure and true. Though a pacifist, She is remarkable fighter. She's the only Dragon Child to not be an orphan, but she doesn't see her parents often since they're always working or on vacation. Her family is rich and the Slayers live in her mansion. Seikatsu has been using her as a vessel since she was 4 and occasionally guides her in battle.
- Friend to All Living Things: It's only natural considering her element is Life.
- Healing Hands: Her main power.
- Martial Pacifist: She doesn't believe in violence, but will fight back if pushed.
Dallas Shi
The Slayer of Death. The calm, cool and collected rival to Tedrick. He and Daisuke are twin brothers who were initially raised by Shi before she gave away Daisuke to Akuma when they were 4. He was initially against Daisuke's idea to defect to the Slayers, but changed his mind when he discovered that the Dragons are just using him and the other Dragon Children. They eventually make amends. He's forgotten about this, but he's a threat to all of mankind.
- Berserk Button: Hates betrayal and laziness with a passion. Don't hurt his brother either. He'll make you wish you were never born.
- Big Brother Instinct: He betrays the dragons after Shi tries to justify Akuma turning Daisuke into a demon.
- Deadpan Snarker: Basically Denkō without the suave.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: See Deadpan Snarker above and Undying Loyalty below.
- Life Drain: Despite what his element may imply, Dallas doesn't rely on Necromancy in battle. Instead, he can absorb the life force of any living thing.
- Meaningful Name: Dallas' name means "Place of Rest" in Old English. A graveyard is often described as a "resting place".
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: The blue to Daisuke's red. It even extends to their dragon eye colors.
- The Stoic: Tedrick can't talk about him without mentioning how emotionless he is.
- Undying Loyalty: To the Dragon Slayers. He used to be this towards Shi, but when she tried to justify Akuma turning Daisuke into a demon, his Big Brother Instinct kicked in and he pulled a Heel–Face Turn.
Inazuma
The Dragon Lord of Lightning and Tedrick's adoptive mother.
- Abusive Parents: She locked Tedrick in a glass bubble whenever he lost his temper.
- Meaningful Name: Her name is the Japanese word for "lightning".
Denkō
An Alpha-level Lightning Dragon, Tedrick's former butler and Inazuma's right hand man.
- Backhanded Compliment: Gives one to Tedrick during the Prologue. The latter lampshades it and implies he does this regularly.Denkō: "...your idiocy is especially endearing today..."Tedrick: "As usual, I didn't know whether to be flattered or insulted by his comments..."
- Battle Butler: Taught Tedrick all he knows. Which is to keep hitting the enemy until they're down.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: See Servile Snarker below. Despite this, he genuinely cares for Tedrick and is heartbroken when he betrays the dragons.
- Lean and Mean: According to Tedrick.
- Meaningful Name: His name is a Japanese synonym for "lightning".
- Pretty Boy: Described as such by Tedrick.Tedrick: He's a lean guy about twice my age and a little too pretty for his own good.
- Scars Are Forever: Tedrick gave him a scar on his right arm during a training accident. He doesn't seem to be bothered by it though.
- Servile Snarker: A smart-ass to the core.
- So Proud of You: Denkō views the scar Tedrick gave him as a symbol of how much the latter has grown since he was child.
- The Dragon: No pun intended. To Inazuma.
