- Damage-Increasing Debuff: can cover you in Brittle, which does this to you.
- Losing Your Head: The third ability, Pseudocide, trows your head forward, leaving your body behind to explode into bones that damage enemies. You rebuild your body immediately afterwards.

- Glass Cannon: She's even classed as such directly in game. All of her attacks deal damage to herself, but deal high damage to enemies (healing you back in the process).

- Stance System: He has four different primary weapons, and they each have limited amount of uses (except for Nubis, the one you start with), necessitating switching. Your secondary, Re-Bounce, even helps with this, by throwing your weapon which then bounces around a bit, and each primary has a different gimmick to it when bouncing.

- Dishing Out Dirt: His main attack is throwing rocks around, and his other two abilities are there to facilitate the gathering of more rocks, and stunning enemies for easier hitting.
Slush

- An Ice Person: His default state. Using any of his attacks cause Overheating.
- Blow You Away: Also sees this, with his icy state having several wind attacks and the ability to cause a tornado.
- Playing with Fire: If your overheat meter reaches full, you switch to a mode, with a variety of fire-based tools to dispatch your foes, and the ability to explode all of that away to end the state early.

- Blow You Away: His abilities are air themed, such as creating a grappling hook from the swipe of a sword, and a flurry of attacks that don't deal much damage, but have good knockback.

- Anchors Away: In lieu of a normal melee attack, Veyga instead throws an anchor. It can pull Hydracores, be reeled back in to deal damage, or used to channel your primary attack.
- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: The foolish sibling to Stellar, as well as younger sister.
- Throw Down the Bomblet: Her secondary attack, Hydracores, explodes when your primary or tertiary are used next to placed down cores.
