Cody
One of the two members of TMG and hosts of That's Cringe alongside Noel. Most of the videos are uploaded to his channel. He also reviews fashion with Kelsey on her channel.
- Auto-Tune: Uses it on his solo song "Cudddle Bug" as well as his verse on "Short Kings Anthem", some parts of "Drip, and all of "Please Be A Hit"
- Annoying Laugh: Invoked with his signature douchebag laugh.

- He reacts to Jake Paul calling him a cyber-bully with bemusement. But the one instance where he gets genuinely displeased with Jake is when he calls him a "backend software developer" and Cody calls him out for insulting an entire industry that made Youtube itself possible.
- When a Buzzfeed employee named Ryan spit out a Snap Pee even though he hardly ate it, since they were his favorite vegetable, Cody pretty much lost it.
- He is also weirdly annoyed when he sees Claire from "you." painting. It's likely because of how pretentious he finds it.

Noel
The second other member of TMG and host of That's Cringe. He also streams on twitch, sometimes alongside his fiance Aleena.
- Ambiguously Brown: His race is not known. To keep the joke alive, he will never say what it actually is.
- Auto-Tune: He uses it on some parts of "Drip" and all of "Please Be A Hit".
- Dude, Not Funny!: There have been several jokes from him that have had to be censored by Cody.
- The Friends Who Never Hang: With Kelsey, there is little to no footage of them even interacting at all.
- Happily Married: Is this with Aleena.
- Heh Heh, You Said "X": He breaks into a chuckle when Cody asks "what's hard?".
- Heterosexual Life-Partners: Him and Cody.
- Hidden Depths: Has background in software development. Also several times on his stream he gives extremely solid and helpful life advice to his donators.
- May–December Romance: Seems to cover a lot of these when streaming.
Kelsey
Cody's girlfriend who has a channel of her own.
- Alliterative Name: Both her first and last names begin with K.
- Birds of a Feather: Her and Cody.
- Clingy Jealous Girl:
- When Cody theorizes that the lady interviewing his 21 year old self might be attracted to him, Kelsey immediately declares that she will kill her.
- Looking through their past Halloween costumes, Cody mentions that a girl named Jen did his makeup a few years ago. Kelsey quietly asking who Jen is prompts Cody to immediately deny that she did.
- The Friends Who Never Hang: With Noel, there is little to no footage of them even interacting at all.
Aleena
Noel's wife, who appears on stream with him sometimes.

Spock
The main producer for TMG who sometimes guests on Noel's streams, and appeared in one episode of That's Cringe.
- Everyone Calls Him "Barkeep": His real name, Garret has been said by Noel on stream, but most people just know him as Spock.
- Special Guest: Appeared in the Russ addition of That's Cringe.
Jake Paul
Jake Paul is a YouTuber, rapper, former Viner, vlogger among other things. He briefly entered a feud with Cody after Cody and Noel made a couple of That's Cringe videos on him, which eventually lead to him confronting Cody in person.
- Excited Kids' Show Host: Comes off as this sometimes.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Seemed to annoy 21 Savage enough to get him to fasten his seatbelt while they were in the car together during their Carpool Karaoke episode.
Dhar Mann
Dhar Mann is a YouTuber and filmmaker who makes inspirational videos and short films on his self-titled channel. Cody and Noel did two That's Cringe episodes on him, and eventually Cody appeared in one of his short films as a minor character which he also co-wrote.
- Catchphrase: We're not just telling stories, we're changing lives. Also has "so you see" also sometimes just said as "you see" and "hey Dhar Mann fam".

Don't Shoot the Message: Cody and Noel don't have a problem with the messages in Dhar's videos, they just think the acting and directing are hilarious.
Dre Drexler
A YouTuber who makes videos about life advice and self improvement that Cody and Noel did a That's Cringe on.
- Character Development: Comparing him from the video Cody and Noel cringed at to his current style, you might think he's a different person. Many people saying he's much more laid back, humble and human.
- Comically Serious: In his video in the That's Cringe, he said phrases such as "rise and grind" in a completely serious voice without a hint of irony.
Ajit Pai
The one who was in charge of Net Neutrality. Cody and Noel roasted him in a video where he read some mean tweets.
- Annoying Laugh: Cody and Noel say that his laugh doesn't even sound like a real laugh.
- Take That!: Cody and Noel don't have any real respect for him. Usually it's all in good fun, but they seem to actually dislike him as opposed to others.
Ryan, The Buzzfeed Employee
A man who works at Buzzfeed who according to him, has never tried fruit or veggies. Cody made fun of him twice.
- Does Not Like Spam: When he tried fruit and veggies, he didn't seem to like much of them, although especially the veggies.
- Took a Level in Jerkass: In the video where he tries veggies for the first time, he is much more hostile to the guy giving him the food. This didn't slip by Cody.
Maddy Smokes
A YouTuber who likes to vape and post other drug, mostly weed related content. He made a hotbox video Cody and Noel did a That's Cringe on.
- The Stoner: Well he does have the word Smokes in his name.
GT Dave
The owner of the Kombucha brand.
Lele Pons
An Instagram comedian who made some videos that Cody cringed at. Cody also did a reading of some of her fans' angry comments as well. Also has a music career, has wrote a book, and as she will remind you, is Latina.
- The Unintelligible: Cody thinks of her as this, due to her not doing retakes and frequently saying her lines way too quickly.
