The Protagonist
Anton Petrov
The main character of the story. He is a sixth-grader who has recently moved to the village where his mother used to live. He is the first to start digging into the true nature of the suspicious events taking place in there.
- Accidental Pervert: In the second episode accidentally got his hands landed right on Katya's breasts.
- Berserk Button: When Owl volunteers to eat Olya at the end of the fourth episode, Anton gets enraged to the point of awakening his "animal" self and scaring Owl away with it.
- Betty and Veronica: Polina and Alisa, respectively.
- Polina shows interest in Anton to become his first friend at the school, trusts him with her innermost thoughts, and her route as a whole embodies the "human" side.
- Alisa, on the other hand, is tempting but mysterious, offers Anton a carefree life and entertainment, is in no hurry to reveal her true colors until the very end of the fourth episode, and, naturally, personifies the "animal" side.
- Big Brother Instinct: For Olya. Keeping her safe and well is the motivation that drives most of his actions in the game.
- Big Damn Kiss: Polina essentially coerces Anton into it at her route. He does not mind.
- Otaku: He is fond of robot cartoons and detective stories, and is quite adept at drawing, dreaming of doing his own comic book. He is also well-read and eloquent for his age, a fact noted by several characters.
- Unreliable Narrator: He is hallucination-prone and therefore not all that he sees is real, so it takes effort to understand where he hallucinated and where is reality.
