Cuisine: Common (普)
Class: Heal
Other Names: Dr. Jiao
Voiced by: Chen Zhang Taikang (CN), Takashi Okubo (JP)

A dish with medicinal origins dating nearly two millennia ago. The first dumplings were made with mutton and herbs to stave off the bitter cold, then the dough was shaped like ears and boiled into a soup, giving birth to "Ear Warmer Soup". Thanks to its medicinal background, Dumpling is a spirit that serves as a doctor known as Dr. Jiao. Bearing both kindness and benevolence, he’s a "grandpa" who closely monitors the health of Kongsang’s residents.

  • Combat Medic: Though he’s the doctor of Kongsang and his skillset leans heavily on healing, he’s still capable of taking on the enemy in battle.
  • Cordon Bleugh Chef: He likes to make medicinal dishes, which no one appreciates because they’re Foul Medicine. His soup, in the young master’s words, "looks like [he] just puts together all the black and bitter things in the world and cooked them".
  • Dressed to Heal: Downplayed. Even though he doesn’t outright wear lab coat or have medical equipments around him, his attire and color palette (white and red) is reminiscent of the general doctor uniform with white coat-like garment and red crosses.
  • Foul Medicine: Everyone in Kongsang agrees that his medicine is too bitter to their liking.
  • Good Doc, Bad Doc: Good Doc to Túsū's Bad Doc, being a nicer and more friendly medic. They even have contrasting color palettes.
  • Older Than They Look: Has a youthful appearance that wouldn’t be out of place when compared to actual child-like food spirits, but in reality he’s one of the oldest spirits at two millennia and behaves like a grandfather accordingly.
  • Otaku: He has quite a thing for video games.
