- Only Known by Their Nickname: Nobody ever refers to him by his real name.
- Smoking Is Not Cool: He straight up tells Leah that her smoking is a turn-off.
- Southern Gentleman: He is from Georgia and has a thick southern accent.
Adam King

Hometown: Beverly Hills, California
- Casanova Wannabe: He tries to find a girlfriend in Paris, but instead only has very short sexual relationships with them.
- Disappeared Dad: His parents separate during the season.
- Dogged Nice Guy: How he describes his love life, he has no luck when it comes to women. This is especially shown when he is attracted to Mallory but she does not reciprocate, and he gets angry at her.
- Entitled to Have You: He sometimes feels this way around women if they don't give him what he wants right away.
- Sucks at Dancing: He is a terrible dancer, as seen from him dancing in the club.
C.T. Tamburello

Hometown: Boston, Massachusetts
- The Berserker: Gets into fights and has anger issues with both his roommates and strangers alike.
- The Big Guy: Has muscles, isn't afraid to show them off, and isn't afraid to put them to use.
- Dark and Troubled Past: He is estranged from both his father and younger brother (who is a drug addict).
- Hollywood New England: He is from Boston, and has a thick accent.
- Love Letter Lunacy: On Valentine's Day, Leah receives a bouquet of flowers that were sent from a friend back home, which he takes credit for. Drama ensues.
- Only Known by Initials: Slightly averted. Although people sometimes call him by first name (Chris, as is shown in the credits actually), he's mostly known as "C.T."
- Mr. Fanservice: Has lots of shirtless scenes throughout the show.
- Troubled, but Cute: He has a bad temper and can be confrontational at times. Despite that, you can't help but like him.
- The Unapologetic: Often antagonizes his roommates, and refuses to apologize, or apologizes but doesn't mean it and then does it again.

- Fake Boobs: She has breast implants.
- Fanservice with a Smile: She works as a cocktail waitress in Las Vegas.
- Military Brat: Her family was in the military growing up.

Hometown: Long Island, New York
- Big Brother Instinct: She didn't want her younger brother to hook up with Mallory, because she knew he would get hurt in the end.
- Control Freak: Went through altercations with all of her roommates over relatively small issues, typically when someone doesn't do something her way.
- Dogged Nice Guy: She is initially attracted to Ace, but he does not reciprocate. Adam tells her she has no chance with Ace, which upsets her.
- Europeans Are Kinky: Meets an Italian boy and begins dating him. She's attracted to him simply for being Italian.
- Love Letter Lunacy: On Valentine's Day, she receives a bouquet of flowers that were sent from a friend back home, which CT takes credit for. Drama ensues.
- Mistaken for Dying: She has a cancer scare at one point during the season.
Mallory Snyder

- All Women Are Prudes: Feels uncomfortable when the group go to a strip club.
- Girliness Upgrade: During one episode, Leah and Christina help her dress more girly and take her shopping for more feminine clothes.
- Hard-Drinking Party Girl: She says she loves to drink and party. Her drinking often gets her into trouble at times.
- The Ingenue: She is a virgin because she wants to wait for love before she has sex.
- Playing Sick: She and Simon pretend to be sick to get an extension on an assignment from work.
Simone Sherry-Wood

Hometown: Dublin, Ireland
- Camp Gay: He loves and works in fashion.
- Oireland: The only non-American roommate of the season, he speaks with a thick Irish accent.
- Out of Focus: Hardly had any screen time during the season, and didn't hang out with the roommates very much.
- Playing Sick: He and Mallory pretend to be sick to get an extension on an assignment from work.
- Twofer Token Minority: Even though he is white, he is the only gay roommate of the season, and the only non-American.
