- Hidden Eyes: During Kokoa's enslavement, a fringe of shaggy dark hair covered her eyes. Since sight was irrelevant to her purpose, no one bothered to cut it.
- Powered by a Forsaken Child: Kokoa was the child, a fact the heroes find especially shocking because the Japanese Navy is only allowed to clone adults. She and eight other Watatsumi acted as a weapon's living battery, which eroded both their magic and their personalities.
- Replacement Goldfish: The main reason Tatsuya decides to help her is that her situation reminds him of Honami's.
- Undying Loyalty: Her first priority after finding shelter is persuading people to save her eight "sisters".
