Illumination Stars

    In General
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/illumination_stars_logo.png
Infinite possibilities shining in their eyes
  • Chromatic Arrangement: As per flagship unit tradition, Mano is red (pink, actually), Hiori is blue, and Meguru is yellow.
  • Power Trio: The first unit of the franchise, and naturally deemed as the main one used in promotions.
  • The Red Mage: Their primary gameplay gimmick. Most of their appeals use two stats to calculate their power instead of the usual one. Illumination Stars teams thus usually attempt to have a balanced set of two or three stats.

  • Ascended Fangirl: Yuika was already a really big fan of idols before being recruited as one herself, and her room is filled with tons of idol merchandising.
  • Image Song: Plastic Umbrella
  • Last-Name Basis: Mamimi calls her by her surname. This is notably the only time in the game where an idol consistently does this with their unit-mate.note

  • Sad Clown: She purposefully puts on a facade of humor and jokes to hide her true feelings, and tries to defuse awkward or tense moments with jokes so that she doesn't have to reveal anything that's on her mind by dealing with them in a serious way.
  • Stepford Smiler: Beneath the cheerful expression and colorful clothes, Yuika is fighting with a lot of self-doubts and has trouble admitting to how she truly feels about things, so she chooses to project the image of an easy-going joker to avoid her true feelings.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/chiyoko_0.png

  • Big Eater: So much so that it's the first trait Kaho describes her with, in contrast to the more traditional compliments she gave to other members.
  • Cool Big Sis: Her relationship with Kaho largely has her in the role of a sweet older sister. Having an actual little brother probably helps.
  • Feminine Women Can Cook: She's the girliest member of her unit, and is a great cook, whether or not it involves chocolate.
  • Image Song: Choco Date Sundae
  • Meaningful Name: Her first name 智代子 (ちよこ in hiragana) is similar to チョコ (chocolate), which is the source of her nickname.
  • Nice Girl: She's likely the friendliest member of her unit.
  • Plain Jane: She was surprised to find out that she actually passed the idol auditions, as she sees herself as a plain and average girl that barely stands out.
  • Sweet Tooth: She loves sweets and chocolate, which, combined with her Meaningful Name, motivated her to become a chocolate-themed idol.
  • Team Mom: Chiyoko is the most down-to-earth member of the Houkago Climax Girls, making her take this role for the unit as a whole.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rinze.png

Blood type: B
Three sizes: 70-54-78
Hobbies: Shoujo manga, traditional arts

  • Cannot Spit It Out: While Rinze has no trouble expressing her feelings for the Producer to her unit, she struggles with doing so towards him directly.

  • Kimono Is Traditional: She was raised in a "traditional family", and she has at least 3 different kimonos that she swaps between, with the blue one serving as her default outfit.
  • Otaku: She enjoys reading shoujo manga.
  • Rei Ayanami Expy: Fits the archetype perfectly, having very fair skin, a lithe figure, striking and uncommon red eyes, quiet demeanor, and even compares herself to a doll in her second P-SSR events, just like Rei herself.
  • The Philosopher: Her thoughts often tend to drift away towards profound topics.
  • Shout-Out: The FES art for her first P-SSR pays homage to Splatoon, while in the second one she dresses and acts like Satsuki from Kill la Kill.
  • Smitten Teenage Girl: While many of the girls in Shiny Colors develop feelings towards the producer, Rinze bears the most striking attraction, to the point where Chiyoko and Juri have commented on it. For example, she openly talks about how she makes her prefect poker face by focusing. What does she focus on? Wondering what the producer is doing at the moment.
  • Third-Person Person: Forgoes any actual pronouns in favor of just "Rinze."
  • Yamato Nadeshiko: Her traditional appearance and devoted personality are all traits held by the archetype.

    Natsuha Arisugawa

Voiced by: Akiho Suzumoto

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/natsuha.png
Idol Outfit
Age: 20
Height: 168 cm
Weight: 49 kg
Birthday: August 16th
Blood type: B
Three sizes: 85-58-84
Hobbies: Training, stretching

  • Affectionate Nickname: Yuika calls her "Nacchan."
  • Canine Companion: She owns a Golden Retriever named "Cattleya," who first appeared on Rinze's SSR card, and later in a 4koma.
  • Expy:
    • Her looks and financial background are reminiscent of Tsukasa Kiryu. Unlike Tsukasa, Natsuha is just the daughter of a CEO rather than one herself.
    • Also, like Ritsuko Akizuki, she's the reliable green member of the group.
  • Fiery Redhead: A passionate orange-haired young woman.
  • Genius Bruiser: She's not only reliable, but she also goes through a daily training schedule.
    • She however sometimes veers towards the bruiser side, even earning an honorific 1st prize for muscles within her unit. One of her latest tricks was adding massive doses of protein into yakisoba in the "Alstroemeria x Houkago" Summer event.
  • Graceful Loser: If you lose an audition with Natsuha during a produce run, she very maturely comments that it must be because there's something she's lacking in, and she'll work hard to make sure she passes next time. She doesn't let it take a hit to her confidence or her pride.
  • Image Song: Damascus Cocktail
  • The Leader: Averted, despite her reliability and age relative to her fellow members. She applied to be the leader of the newly founded H.C.G., but Juri vetoed. The position was ultimately given to Kaho, with Natsuha establishing her place as The Lancer.
  • Lethal Chef: Initially, her cooking skills were so poor that she usually ended up cutting herself by accident. Her skills have improved since her first time, but that didn't stop her form trying to use protein powder as an ingredient, much to the horror of Chiyoko and Juri.
  • Mentor Archetype: As is fitting for the only adult in her group, Natsuha provides helpful advice to the younger idols. Of course, that doesn't mean that she doesn't need some herself from time to time.
  • No Poker Face: She likes to think that she has a good one, but Juri and Chiyoko's reactions all but state that her's is just as bad, if not worse, than Kaho's.
  • Ojou: As the daughter of a company president, she comes from a high-class and wealthy background.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: During a produce run, when Natsuha passes her audition, she calmly and confidently states that this is the expected result and shows that she's not surprised. However, when you win W.I.N.G., she goes quiet in shock and asks if she's dreaming. She even gets teary-eyed over it!
  • Pride: Proud of her family name and trains regularly to not be ashamed.
  • Rich in Dollars, Poor in Sense: A downplayed example, as she's a generally rational woman, but due to her background she lacks a lot of common knowledge about how regular people live, such as how public transit works and what appropriate prices for items are.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: With Juri.

Alstroemeria

    In General
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/alstroemeria_logo.png
Flowers in full bloom, our theory of happiness
  • Floral Theme Naming: The name "Alstroemeria" refers to a type of flower.
  • Full Health Bonus: Their primary gameplay gimmick. They have appeal skills which are more powerful the higher their Mental is, and are able to heal some of it back if they take hits.
  • Innocent Flower Girl: Their group's entire image is this, with their costumes almost always incorporating floral themes and having sweet, girlish silhouettes and light colors. Their music also consists of lighthearted, girlish pop tunes with innocent lyrics.
  • Light Feminine and Dark Feminine: They are the light feminine to L'Antica's dark.

    Amana Osaki

Voiced by: Honoka Kuroki

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/amana.png
Idol Outfit
Age: 17
Height: 159 cm
Weight: 43 kg
Birthday: December 25th
Blood type: A
Three sizes: 80-56-80
Hobbies: Shopping, doing her nails, taking selfies

  • Affectionate Nickname: Tenka addresses her as "Na-chan," as does Yuika.
  • Doting Parent: She's a rare sibling example, openly doting and praising her older sister Tenka. It was her dream for the two of them to become idols together.
  • Energetic and Soft-Spoken Duo: She's cheerful and sociable, while Tenka is shy and withdrawn.
  • Image Song: Sweet Memories
  • Third-Person Person: She always refers to herself in the third person, a trait she shares with her twin sister.
  • The Fashionista: Fashion is one of her big interests, whether it's for her or her sister.
  • Polar Opposite Twins: As much as she adores her older twin sister, the two have very contrasting personalities: Amana is a social butterfly who spends most of her time outside, while Tenka would prefer to just stay indoors and play video games.
  • Ship Tease: While not to the same extent as Rinze, Amana has a fairly obvious crush on the Producer, as seen when she dejectedly notes that she hasn't heard his voice in a while, or when she panics over accidentally writing his actual name on the Valentine present she was giving him instead of Producer-san.
  • Wing Ding Eyes: Like Kaho, Amana's pupils become stars whenever she gets particularly excited.

    Tenka Osaki

Voiced by: Ryoko Maekawa

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tenka.png

Age: 17

  • Affectionate Nickname: Yuika calls her "Ten-chan," a nickname Tenka is shown to be fond of.
  • Commonality Connection: She's been shown to get along with Kaho due to their mutual love of Justice Five, a sentai TV show.
  • Energetic and Soft-Spoken Duo: She is the withdrawn and shy, while Amana is sociable and cheerful.
  • First-Name Basis: Her younger sister forgoes Japanese Sibling Terminology and refers to her as "Tenka-chan," a practice not unheard of with twins.
  • Gamer Chick: Playing video games is one of her favorite pastimes, and she's shown to be pretty good at it.
  • Hikikomori: She used to be a complete shut-in before becoming an idol with Amana.
  • Image Song: Mata Ashita
  • Last-Name Basis: Unlike Amana, Tenka refers to idols in other units by their last names, with Mano and Kaho being the exceptions.
  • Polar Opposite Twins: Despite the love shared between the sisters, their similarities pretty much stop at physical appearance. While Tenka is the shy type and would love nothing more than to stay inside all day playing video games and watching TV, her younger sister Amane is a cheerful and social girl who regularly wants to go out.
  • Shrinking Violet: She's incredibly shy and doesn't have much self-confidence.
  • Signature Laugh: "Niehehe."
  • Sleepyhead: She enjoys taking afternoon naps.
  • Third-Person Person: Just like her sister, she consistently refers to herself in the third person.

    Chiyuki Kuwayama

Voiced by: Noriko Shibasaki

Weight: 47 kg
Birthday: April 18th
Blood type: A
Three sizes: 89-58-92
Hobbies: Making cute accessories

  • Cool Big Sis: She tries her best to act as an older sister figure toward Amana and Tenka, and Yuika calling her "Chiyuki-neesan" implies that she gives off this image towards others as well. It helps that she already is one, having a younger brother.
  • Curtains Match the Window: Her eyes are the same shade of brown as her hair.
  • Idiot Hair
  • Image Song: Darling you!
  • Motherly Side Plait: Her default hairstyle, which only further compounds her role as the Team Mom.
  • Ship Tease: When the Producer tells her that she should sing both for her fans and for herself, she asks him if this means she's not allowed to sing for him, only to try and take it back.
  • Team Mom: Her attempts to act like an older sister figure end up making her more of a mother figure to her fellow members. It doesn't help that, prior to the inclusion of Mikoto, she was the oldest idol in Shiny Colors.
  • Textile Work Is Feminine: Sewing is a hobby of hers, and she's shown to be very skilled at it.

Straylight

    In General
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/straylight_logo.png
Clad in stray light, these girls become idols

  • Status Buff: Their primary gameplay gimmick. Straylight will stack large numbers of small buffs, then use their unique appeal skills to outright consume the buffs in exchange for very powerful appeal damage.

  • Image Song: Hoshi o Mezashite
  • The Ingenue: She's completely innocent about how the idol industry works.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: She and Fuyuko usually clash on their way to approach the idol industry, but still manage to get along.

    Fuyuko Mayuzumi

Voiced by: Eri Yukimura

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fuyuko_1.png
Idol Outfit
Age: 19
Height: 163 cm
Weight: 55 kg
Birthday: December 4th
Blood type: A
Three sizes: 78-59-81
Hobbies: "Chatting with friends"

  • Affectionate Nickname: A decent chunk of the idols in Shiny Colors refer to her as "Fuyu-chan," a practice she encourages because she considers it cute. Yuika, meanwhile, calls her "Fuyuyu."
  • Anger Born of Worry: Her interactions with Asahi often involve her acting like an overstressed mom scolding her child for worrying her sick.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Her defining character trait: she dresses and acts in a cute way in front of others, but when its just her and the Producer and/or her fellow members of Straylight, she tends to be bossy and rude.
  • Cleavage Window: Her idol outfit features an opening in the chest area.
  • Closet Geek: She'd rather keep her interest in anime hidden from as many people as possible.
  • Do Not Call Me "Paul": She does not like it when people (most notably Asahi and Mei) call her by her given name. The only person whom she'll allow to do so is the Producer.
  • Full-Name Basis: While she refers to idols in other units by their first name with "-chan" honorific whenever she's directly talking to any of them, she resorts to this whenever she's talking to herself or to Asahi and/or Mei.
  • Image Song: SOS
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Despite frequently scolding Asahi and Mei whenever they do something that could risk their idol careers, it's clear that she cares for them and just acts this way because she genuinely wants to protect Straylight's reputation. And despite her competitiveness with the other idols, she'd never intentionally sabotage anyone.
  • The Leader: While Asahi was chosen as the center of Straylight, the Producer considers Fuyuko to be the actual leader.
  • The Rival: Whenever she's not acting like an annoyed mother figure towards Asahi, she considers her as this.
  • Ship Tease: Her interactions with the Producer can sometimes make them look Like an Old Married Couple (except any vitriol is entirely from her side), and she has outright said to herself that he's the only person she's okay with calling her by her first name instead of her nickname.
  • Stepford Smiler: Fuyuko acts and behaves in a cute manner in front of others as she thinks that behavior is the only one acceptable as an idol and is afraid of showing her other side as it could mean she wouldn't be loved by others.
  • Third-Person Person: She always addresses herself as "Fuyu" in an attempt to up her cutesy image.
  • Tsundere: Harsh Type; despite sometimes acting like a jerk toward the Producer, Asahi, or Mei, Fuyuko really cares for them, even if she'll never admit it out loud.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: She and Asahi usually clash on their way to approach the idol industry, but still manage to get along.

    Mei Izumi

Idol Outfit
Age: 18
Height: 162 cm
Weight: 51 kg
Birthday: August 2nd
Blood type: O
Three sizes: 90-58-88
Hobbies: Playing with friends, listening to recent music

  • Affectionate Nickname: Yuika calls her "Mei-mei."
  • Cleavage Window: Like Fuyuko, the chest area of her idol outfit has an opening.
  • Gyaru Girl: A mix between the kogal and ganguro types.
  • Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: She is a genuine Nice Girl with dyed blond hair.
  • Image Song: Going my way
  • Ms. Fanservice: She's got a large chest (tying with Meguru for the third biggest in the game), and her idol outfit shows more skin than those of her fellow unit members.
  • Nonconformist Dyed Hair: Mei dyes her hair blonde with bleached tips, as part of her ganguro appearance. Her Straylight stage appearance, however, adds purple streaks for the unit gimmick.
  • Stage Fright: Despite her flashy looks, she easily gets nervous around large crowds. Incidentally, the way she barely speaks on stage sometimes gives the impression of her having a cool and mysterious aura around her.

Noctchill

Goodbye to our transpicuous selves
  • Childhood Friends: The entire group has been inseparable since they were kids.
  • Mechanically Unusual Fighter: Unlike other units, most Noctchill cards' Link Appeals do not require the entire rest of the unit to have used appeals for them to work. Instead, specific Link Appeals will require one or two specific other Noctchill units to activate. Memory Link Appeals still require the entire unit.
  • No-Sell: Their primary gameplay gimmick. Noctchill cards introduce the ability to outright dodge judge attacks. Some of their cards even trigger buffs upon a successful dodge. That's right: Noctchill can weaponize Insult Backfire.

Age: 17

Birthday: May 4th
Blood type: B
Three sizes: 82-57-78
Hobbies: Watching movies and television dramas

  • Affectionate Nickname: Yuika calls her "Torun."
  • Because You Were Nice to Me: It was revealed that the producer once helped Toru back when she was a kid. And despite declining his offer for her to become an idol before, remembering their first encounter was enough for her to change her mind and accept so that she can pay him back.
  • Bifauxnen: She apparently could pass for a Pretty Boy back when she was younger.
  • The Ditz: She's surprisingly airheaded, like forgetting her wallet when she was gonna buy convenience store food for her friends.
  • Even the Girls Want Her: She's the main reason why the other members of Noctchill decided to become idols.
  • Image Song: statice
  • Last-Name Basis: She refers to Madoka as "Higuchi."
  • The Leader: Of her Childhood Friends, both before and after their unit is formed.
  • The Stoic: Toru is a girl of few words who barely expresses her emotions.

Birthday: October 27th
Blood type: B
Three sizes: 79-55-79
Hobbies: "None in particular"

  • Affectionate Nickname: Yuika calls her "Mado-chan."
  • Cool Big Sis: Despite her severe and harsh treatment of the Producer and her cynicism towards idol culture and society in general, she seems to have a soft spot for the younger idols at the agency, notably Kaho and Asahi, serving as this to them. Even though her views clash wildly with the idealism, optimism and ingenuity that Kaho and Asahi are characterized by, she seems to be fond of these qualities in them and doesn't wish to break their spirits.
  • Ice Queen: She usually acts cold and distant towards everybody not named Toru or Koito, especially towards the Producer.
  • Image Song: Yumemidori
  • Last-Name Basis: Madoka always refers to Toru as "Asakura" when talking to her, which Juri actually questions at one point. Interestingly, she has called her Toru when not addressing her directly, though.
  • With Friends Like These...: Most of the time, she and Hinana only tolerate each other due to their mutual friendship with Toru.

  • Animal Motifs: She's compared to a chihuahua.
  • Catchphrase: She often yelps out a "Pi!" when startled.
  • Cowardly Lion: Koito tends to be nervous and insecure around strangers, getting frightened easily when someone calls out to her. She tends to yelp in surprise when that happens.
  • Cute Little Fangs: You can see two pointy tips on her upper mouth.
  • Determinator: Koito takes her idol lessons seriously because she wants to keep up with her friends, as she sometimes feels that she is left behind compared to them.
  • Image Song: Watashi no Shujinkou wa Watashi Dakara!
  • Team Mom: Despite her meek behavior, Koito usually acts like this for the other members of Noctchill.

  • Affectionate Nickname: Yuika calls her "Hinanan."
  • The Ditz: Hinana has a very airheaded attitude, barely paying attention to anything that doesn't interest her.
  • Does Not Like Spam: She doesn't like bitter stuff, as shown by her negative reaction upon drinking the Producer's coffee.
  • Image Song: Aozora Cider
  • Signature Laugh: She alternates between "Aha~" and "Yaha~."
  • Third-Person Person: Refers to herself as just "Hinana" in place of the normal first-person pronouns.

SHHis

    In General
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/shhis_unit_logo.png
Shine, sequin chandelier.
  • Determinator: Both Nichika and Mikoto are examples of how this trope can sometimes be a bad thing. Both girls often overwork themselves in their mission to become top idols, with Mikoto, in particular, being so determined to become the idol she aspires to be that she spends practically every waking moment of her day doing idol activities or training.
  • Foil: To each other. Whilst Mikoto has a lot of natural singing and dancing talent, her lack of personal life and almost self-destructive drive makes her blind to the other aspects of an idol's job, meanwhile, the underdog Nichika who is often considered 'average' has the necessary social skills to get along with staff members and make people want to interact with her. Even though Mikoto is considered perfect on a technical level, it is Nichika who is more popular in-universe due to how easily she can get along with people, Nichika looks up to Mikoto as an example of a truly exceptional idol, unaware that Mikoto can't figure out what to do with herself or her career due to her out-of-touch attitude towards being an idol.
  • Set Bonus: Their primary gameplay gimmick. Going further than simple Link Appeals, the SHHis girls' appeal skills will each provide a buff specifically to the other SHHis girls' next appeal. And because they're only a two-girl unit, it is quite easy to keep them together while still maintaining a full unit of Illumination Stars, Alstroemeria, or Straylight.

Idol Outfit
Age: 16
Height: 158 cm
Weight: 48 kg
Birthday: July 26th
Blood type: O
Three sizes: 82-54-84
Hobbies: Music appreciation

  • Affectionate Nickname: Yuika calls her "Nicchan."
  • Annoying Younger Sibling: She can be this towards Hazuki, though she still cares for her.
  • Downer Ending: Her sister Hazuki made the producer agree to a deal for Nichika to join the agency: if she can win W.I.N.G., she can stay; if not, she leaves. If you lose W.I.N.G. with another girl, they're disappointed, but at least you're able to leave them with the hope that they'll win next. But if you lose with Nichika? It ends with Nichika sobbing about how all her hard work was for nothing and lamenting over how her dreams won't ever come true because she'll never be good enough. Ouch.
  • The Gadfly: Nichika often teases the producer. A couple of her voice lines have her say something outlandish just to see if the producer will look over at her.
Nichika: 2 times 3 is 10! Haaa, you actually looked over here!
  • Heroic Self-Deprecation: She tends to talk harshly about herself quite often, and compares herself unfavorably to Mikoto despite her good standing as an idol.
  • I Just Want to Be Special: She wants to be somebody, but instead, her average skills make her an underdog. Even the producer initially considers Nichika's talent nothing special.
  • Post-Victory Collapse: If you win W.I.N.G., Nichika's reaction is to Faint in Shock, being unable to breathe. This is extremely concerning to the Producer and others around her.
  • Remember the New Guy?: Nichika is Hazuki's younger sister, with the latter acting as her guardian with their father deceased and their mother hospitalized. However, while Hazuki was an existing character from the start, Nichika was never mentioned until the game's third anniversary, when SHHis was first introduced.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: She looks like a younger, shorter-haired version of her sister.

Blood type: B
Three sizes: 85-57-85
Hobbies: Songwriting

  • No Social Skills: She has no social life due to her devotion to idol work, and doesn't see a reason to talk to her colleagues outside of work, this often gives Nichika the impression that she doesn't want to be friends due to the fact that she turns down offers to hang out casually together.
  • Workaholic: Oh boy. She left her hometown of Hokkaido when she was 14 years old to pursue singing, and ever since she got the idea to become an idol, she started dedicating practically every moment of her existence to becoming one, often over-working herself and practicing from dusk till dawn, neglecting things like eating and sleeping in the process. She even states that she "barely has memories of high school, just being in the lesson room", and her constant devotion to idol work has resulted in her having a non-existent social life.

  • Ambiguous Situation: It's unknown what caused her fallout with Mikoto.
  • Ascended Extra: After being a supporting character in previous appearances, she became a part of 283 Production in 2023.
  • Blind Without 'Em: She wears contact lenses, but has a habit of taking them out if she doesn't like what she's seeing in front of her.
  • Broken Bird: She's very angry and cynical. Her first event shows that she's very lonely and she laments several times that she seems to constantly lose the people she cares about, particularly Mikoto after she left their former agency.
  • Defrosting Ice Queen: She's by far the most unfriendly idol in the game and resists against the Producer's help very hard at first, but she slowly, slowly starts coming around after becoming playable.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: She was starting to strike up a friendship with Hiori until she discovers the production she's associated with, after which she promptly ends it.
  • The Rival: To Nichika, as Mikoto's ex-unit partner. Luca is shown fuming when seeing Mikoto and Nichika together on TV and harshly calls Nichika a thief when they do meet face-to-face.

  • Affectionate Nickname: Yuika calls her "Hananan."
  • Canon Immigrant: She and Haruki were initially created for Song for Prism to be unit-mates for Luka, who was a solo act even after joining 283 Production. However, they were later be added to the main game.
  • The Gadfly: Quite a few of her scenes from Song for Prism has her say something to get a rise out of the Producer, even delving into innuendo in one instance.
  • Sexy Sweater Girl: Her default outfit includes a white sleeveless sweater that emphasizes her large bust.
  • Ship Tease: Hana has no problem showing affection for the Producer, and she clearly enjoys making him say that she looks cute.
  • The Tease: Song for Prism has a moment where Hana specifically asks the Producer if he'll come and see her if she gets lonely at night.Context When he tries to give her a serious answer, she responds that she's just messing with him, as she knows that how busy he'll be.

  • Affectionate Nickname: Yuika sometimes refers to him as "P-tan."
  • Clueless Chick-Magnet: A decent chunk of the idols under his care show varying degrees of attraction towards him, but he doesn't seem to notice.
  • The Faceless: His face is never shown in the game proper.
  • Nice Guy: He's kind, supportive, and always puts the idols' wants and needs before himself.
  • Everyone Calls Him "Barkeep": The other characters are only seen referring to him as "Producer," sometimes with an honorific.note  His real name is never revealed in-game, though one of the Valentine conversations mentions how Amana accidentally wrote his real name on the chocolate she was giving him.
  • Vague Age: Nothing specific is given on how old he's supposed to be; he'd have to be over 20 to have drinks with Chiyuki, and it's assumed that he's older than the idols he works with, but that's about it.
  • Workaholic: While not as bad as Mikoto, his train-of-thought can easily drift towards his job at a moment's notice. At one point, Chiyoko had to tell him to "think about something other than work while they're (him and the Houkago Climax Girls) eating."

    Hazuki Nanakusa

Age: 22
Height: 160 cm
Weight: 53 kg
Birthday: February 3rd
Blood type: O
Three sizes: N/A
Hobbies: Collecting goods to help with sleep (e.g. sleep mask, neck pillow), work

  • Affectionate Nickname: Yuika calls her "Hazukicchi-san."
  • Establishing Character Moment: The first time the Producer sees her is when she is sleeping soundly behind the sofa in the 283 office, complete with Sleep Mask. Though in a twist: this isn't an indicator that she's lazy, but that she overworks herself to the point of utter exhaustion.
  • Jack of All Trades: Not only does she work as the secretary of the agency, but Hazuki also is in charge of the idol lessons and is the makeup artist of the agency. Exemplified in the Thanks Flapping Day production mode, where she has a random chance of appearing in a training area, and counts as *any* Idea type.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: To the girls and even to the Producer. Especially exemplified during SHHis' Thanks Flapping Day scenario, in which she urges the Producer not to let the girls push themselves hard to do something they really cannot do because it will only cause everyone a lot of trouble. She also urges them not to leave preparations until the last minute possible, as there are lots of factors to take into account with performance, and tends to be reasonably strict when she sets a timetable for these preparations.
  • Sexy Secretary: She primary serves as the agency's secretary, and she's shown to have a well-endowed bust. Notably, she managed to be featured in a bikini before any of the game's idols.
  • Workaholic: Despite her slow and easygoing manner of speech, she works her ass off, to the point she will frequently opt to crash in the 283 office instead of going home to sleep in her bed. Song for Prism goes so far as to list work as one of her hobbies.
