  • Attack! Attack! Attack!: Alpha grabbing Execk's tie and slamming him against a wall, threatning to burn his tie if Execk doesn't answer his questions.
  • Cursed with Awesome: His curse being the "Forbidden Power's" ability to harm people in real life. It's causes him stress and panic, which often
  • Deal with the Devil: The Voices in his head
  • Demonic Possession: The Forbidden Power was influencing his behavior, it did not take control outright.
  • Facial Markings: Has two Roman numeral "I"s near his eyes.
  • Good Wings, Evil Wings: Normally, Alpha's wings are white, but during his Demonic Possession, his wings and tail turn black.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Pushing Execk too far, getting him to confess things about the Forbidden Power, which puts all the Netkings and their loved ones in danger.
  • Hearing Voices: Alpha hears the Forbidden Power's voice while under it's influence.
  • Hiding Behind Your Bangs: Has a spike of hair hanging near one eye, with it obscuring his eye only occasionally. Serves as a symbol of his shy and unassuming tendencies.
  • Nigh-Invulnerability/ No-Sell: Shown from episode one to be invulnerable to attacks when under the influence of the "Forbidden Power".
  • Supernatural Angst: If he had never received the "Forbidden Power", and much of his conflict is either worrying about it hurting someone, or how he's anxious to learn the truth about what the "Forbidden Power" really is.
  • Superpowered Evil Side: When the Forbidden Power takes over him.

  • Animal Eyes: While they're normally drawn without any pupils, in one gloomy scene where a troubled Nylocke, breaks character his pupils become slit, and reptile-like.
  • Beneath the Mask: Nylocke broke character once he heard about Alpha "killing" the Netkings.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: He never breaks his "roleplaying" personality except for serious matters.
  • The Role Player: Though there's a couple of moments where he comes close to breaking character...and a couple more instances where he does so outright.
