Bret Michaels

  • Backseat Driver: Had to run the Week 4 and 6 tasks due to Rod and Goldberg being such weak project managers. The team lost pretty badly both times, but Rod was much more at fault in the former task, while Goldberg didn't do anything to justify being kept on in the latter task.
  • Manly Tears: Shed more than a few of these after it turned out that his eldest daughter might have type-1 diabetes. Fortunately it turned out that she didn't, but it played on his mind throughout the season.
  • Taking the Bullet: Tried to do this for Goldberg during Week 6, but Trump was having none of it.

Holly Robinson Peete

  • Crack Defeat: Not to the same extent as Annie Duke in the previous year, but just about everyone had predicted that she would be the winner, and she raised nearly $200,000 more than Bret. That being said, that difference was mainly due to the Week 7 task; the amount that they both raised in the actual final was very similar.
  • Worthy Rival: Everyone seemingly saw her as this, with Sharon, Curtis and Maria all openly admitting that she was the strongest player of the season in the penultimate episode (Bret didn't say anything either way, as Maria shot her mouth off and got fired before Trump could ask his opinion).

Sharon Osbourne

  • Always Someone Better: Zig-zagged with Holly, who easily defeated her when they squared off as project manager the first time, only to lose when they had a rematch on the final regular task. As it turned out, Sharon herself admitting that Holly was a better candidate was a big part of why Trump put Holly through to the final over Sharon.

Curtis Stone

  • Deadpan Snarker: He aimed more than a few barbs at Rod early in the competition, and was never short of a funny (though almost never actually malicious) remark.
  • Funny Foreigner: Frequently made jokes about his Australian heritage, and some of the associated stereotypes.
  • Nice Guy: Even by the standards of probably the overall nicest Celebrity Apprentice cast, he was an easy-going guy who got along well with just about everybody, aside from occasionally getting frustrated with Rod and then having Maria pick on him for no obvious reason near the end.

Maria Kanellis

  • Jerkass: Easily the biggest example during this season, as she had feuds of varying degrees with Holly, Cyndi and Curtis. That being said, in most of the other seasons she would actually have been one of the nicer candidates, indicating just how well-behaved this season's cast was overall.
  • Toilet Humor: An ill-timed joke about the smell of Curtis's bathroom breaks resulted directly in her being fired — or rather hastened it, since she would almost certainly have been fired a few minutes later for being the weakest of the final five.

Cyndi Lauper

  • Dumb Blonde: Zig-zagged. Sometimes she was surprisingly sharp and insightful, but other times, including the week when she was fired, she seemed to be on a different planet altogether.
  • What Were You Thinking?: Trump's reaction in the boardroom where she was fired, when she suddenly admitted that she didn't play any part in designing the one room that the judges actually liked.

Summer Sanders

  • Ms. Fanservice: Along with Maria, she was the one that the team turned to whenever they needed someone to act in this role.
  • Taking the Bullet: After losing in her second turn as project manager she made no real attempt to defend herself, and admitted she should be fired.

Goldberg

  • The Big Guy: Very much so, considering his pro wrestling background, and he was quite often responsible for a lot of the physical tasks while on the show.
  • Muscles Are Meaningless: Sadly, he proved such a weak project manager that Bret had to make 99% of the decisions, and Trump fired Goldberg for being too hands-off.

Selita Ebanks

  • Sacrificial Lamb: Consistently proved the weakest member of an extremely strong women's team, and only narrowly avoided being fired in the first task, before eventually getting dismissed the next time they lost a task (which wasn't until Week 5).

Michael Johnson

  • Non-Gameplay Elimination: Quit because of an implied family emergency. It's still unclear exactly what happened, but he said he wouldn't have left unless there was no alternative.

Rod Blagojevich

  • Butt-Monkey: A strong contestant for the title of the most utterly clueless (if not outright worst) Celebrity Apprentice candidate ever. In the Week 1 he was easily the weakest member of the winning team. Week 2, he spent most of the task getting verbally abused by people on the streets, and only got nice comments from one woman who thought he was Donny Osmond. Week 3, he couldn't even use a laptop. Finally, he crashed and burned spectacularly as project manager in Week 4.
  • Corrupt Politician: He denied being this at every opportunity. Unfortunately for him, the jury at his eventual trial disagreed, and even Trump himself stopped short of fully pardoning him — which would have made Rod able to run for office again, albeit not in Illinois — instead only commuting his sentence during his presidency.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: The rest of the men were actually very respectful to him, considering how useless he tended to be. The citizens of New York, on the other hand, were not so forgiving of his misdeeds.
  • Too Incompetent to Operate a Blanket: The debate about whether or not Macs are really any easier to use than Windows PCs is one that has raged on for decades, but it takes a special level of cluelessness not to even be able to turn one on. On top of that, in the following task he turned out not to be able to send an e-mail either, which was quite a big problem seeing how he was in Florida and the rest of the team was in NYC.

Darryl Strawberry

  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Never really seemed very enthusiastic about being on the show, and in Week 3 he suddenly told Trump to fire him, without having given any prior indication that he wanted to go.
  • Taking the Bullet: There was an implication that he quit to save Michael from being fired, which would otherwise have happened. Only two episodes later, however, Michael himself experienced a Non-Gameplay Elimination.

Sinbad

  • Arch-Enemy: A short-lived example with Bret, as the feud between them played a big part in derailing the Week 2 task, and resulted in Sinbad taking the fall.

Carol Leifer

  • Sacrificial Lion: Everyone on the women's team actually did quite well on the Week 1 task, but they lost anyway. Even Carol wasn't bad by any means, she was just felt to have been a little weaker than the other women. Trump himself acknowledged this by still giving her a $10,000 donation for her charity.
