    Bobo

Beauregard

Played By: Himself
Appears In: MedBoy789

Toby Kestler's pet dog, who happens to be a host for Malek's Gluttony fragment.

  • Action Pet: He chases down a Lurker without being hurt. Given what Lurkers are capable of doing to living beings in .Reality, that's gotta count for something.
  • As Himself: He's the actual pet dog of FeralWasteland (the actor who plays Toby), and his name really is Bobo.
  • Demonic Possession: He occasionally becomes possessed by Malek's fragment. This is implied to continue even beyond the end of MedBoy789: it's said that numerous members of the neutrality movement will try to converse with him, as if he were "some sort of higher authority".

  • Evil-Detecting Dog: Subverted; while Bobo is aware of the presence of supernatural entities, and is certainly curious about them, he doesn't seem to differentiate between the benevolent ones and the malicious ones. (Though he does chase after a Lurker in one episode.)
  • Long-Lived: According to the conclusion of MedBoy789, he becomes the longest-living dog in human history.
  • Loyal Animal Companion: He stays by Toby's side through thick and thin, and even accompanies him to his new home in another dimension. He also accompanies Toby to his new job, as ruler of Arkaissa.
  • Meaningful Name: "Beauregard" is a French name that means "respected" or "highly regarded". This is precisely what he becomes during Toby's time as the head of the Neutrality Faction.
  • Only Known By His Nickname: His full name, Beauregard, is never spoken in the series. (However, it does appear in the closing credits of MedBoy789.)
  • Soul Fragment: His body is a vessel for Malek's "Gluttony" fragment.
  • Talking Animal: In "Dreams Beyond Reality", he talks to Toby while under Malek's control, responding to Toby's query of "What time is it?" with "It's Noon. You got any pizza rolls? I'm hungry".

    Theater Mask

Theater Mask

Played By: PesterJest
Appears In: No More Truths, Spectrumgate, Solar's Crimson

"If I were you, I would rather be an asset. 'Cuz if I wasn't? Then I would be expendable. And I would not want to be expendable!"

Theater Mask first appears in the first journey of Cedric's Logs, during the Factory quest. Next to nothing is known about this strange entity, other than that its presence comes from an entirely different existence. Theater Mask appears to posses an inexplicable array of powers that he often uses, and resembles a humanoid figure wearing a black hoodie and a crude white mask with a smiling face on it.

  • Accidental Misnaming: Played for laughs: he never calls anyone by their real name (calling Malek "Melon" and Cedric "Cedar" or "Cedar Smokeypants").
  • Angel Unaware: Those who encounter him seem completely unaware that they are in the presence of an ultra-powerful being. (Particularly Azrael, who takes him for "a creature of simple pleasures".)
  • The Anti-God: Word of God says that he's a "Null Entity": a being that is the opposite of a creator god, representing the forces of entropy and decay.
  • Bad Powers, Good People: Well, as "good" as the avatar of decay and entropy can be in a morally grey universe: he steps in to help the Arknangels fight the Carver during the final battle.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: He may behave like an Expy of Bugs Bunny, but don't underestimate him: Jester was responsible for initiating the heat death of the previous universe (and is one of the few beings to survive the death of Arknverse A).
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: He interrupts the content of his own wiki page, causing the text to glitch and display lines of code. (The end of the glitched text ends with a Jester card emoji.)
  • Chaotic Good: He's revealed to be this during the Battle of the Arknza, when he helps Malek and Cedric battle Deebo-possessed Carver.
  • Cool Mask: As expected, he wears a crude version of a theatrical Comedy mask. Due to his goofy, childlike demeanor, it comes across as silly rather than menacing. Most of the time.
  • Demonic Possession: He takes control of the body of Isaac so he can use the device.
  • Destroyer Deity: Of a sort. In the simplest of terms, he introduces the forces of decay and entropy, thus initiating the events that will, in time, lead to the end of the universe.
  • Eldritch Abomination: According to his creator, an anti-god or Destroyer Deity is a very simplified explanation for what Theater Mask is; the totality of his existence is beyond explanation or comprehension.
  • Hammerspace: He has the uncanny ability to draw any object out of thin air. They're usually silly or useless (such as the rope of taffy he produces when Cedric's band of travelers is being pursued by The Carver).
  • In-Series Nickname: The Jester.
  • Nightmare Face: Presumably hides one beneath his mask.
  • Playing Card Motifs: He's associated with the Jester card (naturally).
  • P.O.V. Cam: When he takes over Isaac, we see the end result from his perspective, as he gazes down at his now-human hands and body.
  • The Quiet One: He rarely speaks — and even then, it's usually to say something silly or inconsequential. (When he drops the silliness, you should be VERY afraid.)
  • The Trickster
  • Wacky Sound Effect: He has a habit of making these at the appropriate times.
  • Wild Card: As his calling card suggests, he's wildly unpredictable; you never know what he's going to do or say.

    Cecil

Cecil Zenith

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cecil_905.png
Played By: Unknown
Appears In: Michael's Camera

"I'm one of the most important people you will ever meet. In fact, I'm not even a people."

A strange individual of an unknown species who acts as Spokesman for the True-Neutral in Arkaissa. He is summoned (accidentally) by Michael Knight in Season 3 of Michael's Camera.

  • Charm Person: No matter how irritating his behavior may be, you are compelled to like him. It's never explained how he does this, but given that he's hinted to be some sort of prophet (who are confirmed to have the power "make people do things with [their] words") and that his job description is "Spokesman For the True Neutral", it isn't hard to guess.
  • Cloud Cuckoolander: Very much so. Aside from having no idea how to dress like a normal person, he pets a stone frog as if it were real, provides vague, nonsensical answers to even the simplest of questions, goes on long, rambling pop culture-related tangents, and constantly reminds others of his name.
  • Metaphorgotten: Cecil tries to explain himself and his purpose by talking about the setting and protagonist of The Land Before Time. The "lesson" comes to a halt when he realizes (by his own admission) that he has no idea where he's going with the analogy.
  • Offscreen Teleportation: He does this when Michael tries to get away from him.
  • Rummage Sale Reject: He knows very little about human society, aside from a few bits of pop culture ephemera; as such, he wears odd, mismatched clothing: a tee-shirt and a button-down shirt in clashing patterns, sunglasses at night, tight jeans, and his hair in a ponytail directly atop his head.
  • Seemingly Profound Fool: Due to his powers and obvious non-human nature, you'd think that he's another mysterious being with a preternatural knowledge and understanding of reality; you would very much be wrong.
  • Unpopular Popular Character: In-universe, he's almost universally disliked due to his clingy, irritating personality. However, viewers of Michael's Camera found him amusing (mainly due to the fact that he was annoying Michael Knight).
  • You Can Run, but You Can't Hide: Michael discovers, much to his surprise (and dismay), that Cecil can (and will) follow him no matter which way he turns.
    "Don't do that."
