Two years later after China Rush 3, Shen Zhen TV released a new season. This season had some hype around that it's a celebrity season, and all the 8 teams were very well known around the Chinese region. While this season was not consecutive due to celebrity schedules, to the point where they admitted to took 20 weeks to finish filming, inconsistent rules ^note In some legs teams can get away with the same person doing both Roadblocks in the same leg while some don't, and from the 3rd episode onwards, 2 teams turned out to be so dominant to they nearly took the Top 2 every single week. Still, the cast are entertaining, tasks are challenging enough.

Zhong Hangliang & Jackie

Siblings, Hangliang is a Hong Kong actor and recording artist. In the Guandong, they managed to use every time advantage they have to finish 1st.

• Corpsing: In-Universe. In the dialogue part of the Bollywood Task for her first few attempts, Jackie couldn't stay in-character.
• Determinator: Hangliang at Leg 5's sledding/bowling Detour, attempting over 30 times to score a strike on the pins. Fortunately, Jackie copies Chen Yiru's successful technique to finish the Detour for him.
• No-Damage Run
• Photographic Memory: Hangliang claims to have this, though they did spring from 4th to 2nd in the Hotel Cleaning Task.
• Sibling Team
• Strategy Versus Tactics: Jackie decided to U-Turn Chang & Dachuan in Dehli just because they were strong. While it managed to get Chang & Dachuan to burn out their Express Pass, they made an enemy in the long run. Fortunately for them, it is short lived
• Took a Level in Badass: Started out rather slow, but starting in Leg 4 they placed in the top 2 till the end.

Li Xiaopeng & Li Anqi

Married. Li Xiaopeng won Olympic gold medals in gymnastics. In Guandong, Anqi took too much time calming herself in the Rappeling Roadblock, and gave enough time for the Zhong Family to finish the Globe Memory task, they ended up 2nd.

• The Cameo: Their child Olivia, who even appears in South Korea.
• Hope Spot: When navigating to the Pitstop in Texas, they found Xiaochun and Yijian standing beside a building. Hopes were dashed they arrive at the Pitstop, that Xiaochun and Yijian already checked in, and they got 2nd again.
• No-Damage Run: One of the most impressive, as their lowest placement in the season is 3rd for only 1 leg, and they became the 6th team in franchise history to break a 2.00 finishing average.
• Patriotic Fervor: Before the South Korea leg started, Xiaopeng decided to team up with fellow Chinese teams (Jugang & Xiaotong and Dachuan & Chang) and focus in taking off the Cantonese teams. This worked a little, as they managed to eliminate Xiaochun & Yijian (with an additional flavor of revenge for U-Turning them earlier). It was never brought up again.
• Picky Eater: They have an aversion towards eating tasks, which is apparent in both the eating tasks with hot dogs in New York and live octopus in South Korea.
• Strategy, Schmategy: Anqi in the Greece Dreams Roadblock and the Fake Food Identification Task, both are finished by her guessing.
• Undesirable Prize: Anqi reacted rather uninterested with a year supply of Satine Organic Milk as a part of a prize, twice.

Bai Jugang & Guan Xiaotong

Classmates. They were eliminated in the 2nd leg due to Jugang troubles in the Zip Line Roadblock in Texas and a penalty for Jugang doing both Roadblocks in Texas. Despite this, they were brought back in the 9th leg thanks to a Save. While they have gotten better for the last 3 legs ^note And nearly winning in the South Korea leg. Jugang's allowing the other teams go ahead of them seals them in last place while attempting the Car Maze Task in Shenzhen and ended up in 3rd.

• The Load: Xiaotong, she can be quite cowardly and whiny when facing obstacles, though it applies for the first 2 legs
• Nice Guy: Ying Chai'er and Liu Yun think of him as this when he reason why he did both Roadblocks in Texas.
• Younger and Hipper: They used this in their introduction, being born in the 90s. Both of them are even underage (being 17) when the show starts.

Jin Dachuan & Liu Chang

Model buddies. Despite finishing 2nd for the Fake Food Identification Task in Hong Kong, they struggled most to find a cab to reach the Pit Stop, and ended up 4th.

• Big Eater: This trait helps them beat the Li family in New York when they are eating 4 different hot dogs, and get their sole leg win.
• "Blackmail" Is Such an Ugly Word: They made a deal with Hangliang & Jackie to borrow them $300 ^note Hangliang & Jackie had a money advantage that leg,while not U-Turning them in Dubai. Though the gave the money back in Hong Kong
• Broken Tears: One of them broke down due to being unable to physically finish the Seeing Stars Detour.
• Gay Bravado: Dachuan, both intentionally and unintentionally.
• Manchild: One of them took a long time to finish the Zip Line Roadblock just because he was having fun.
• Nobody Touches the Hair: When discussing about what the Fast Forward can be in Jaipur, they, due to being models freaked out with the thought of shaving bald.
• Toilet Humor: Played this excessively in India.
• Unwanted Assistance: In-Universe. Complained towards each other in the Armadillo Roadblock, as communicating in Roadblock tasks may net you a penalty.

Chen Xiaochun & Zheng Yijian

Bros. Well known celebrities in China that starred together in "Young And Dangerous" franchise. In their final leg, they got Yielded by the Li family, and also decided to take a 1 hour penalty for quitting the Raw Octopus task, which is enough to get them eliminated.

• Rage Quit: Xiaochun at the Seeing Stars Detour, and both of them at the Raw Octopus Task, due to Xiaochun being a vegetarian.
• Read The Freaking Clue: They had a penalty in Texas for Xiaochun doing both Roadblocks in the leg, and the greeter decided to yodel after hearing the news. Fortunately, their gain a strong lead that they got first in the leg.

Chen Yiru & Zhou Weitong

Friends. Yiru is known for being in Taiwanese boyband Fahrenheit while Weitong is known as being China's first supermodel. Even though they started off well, they fell to the bottom of the pack from the 4th episode on due to their failure to read their clues and/or dreadful teamwork. In their last leg in Greece, their Speed Bump puts them behind the other teams, and is officially eliminated when Zhong Hanliang & Jackie chooses to save Bai Jugang & Guan Xiaotong instead of them.

• Asian Rudeness: They became this when they had to do the Hurry Up Detour again, which they were scolded by a manager off screen for not having sportsmanship.
• Graceful Loser: Yiru casually reacts like this once they've been eliminated at Leg 8.
• Gratuitous English: Weitong.
• Odd Friendship: In their introduction, they believed that they have a lot in common (like sports) despite not meeting each other in person a lot.
• Sacrificial Lamb: Of the Vote U-Turn by all the teams except Xiaochun & Yijian.
• Unwanted Assistance: In-Universe. Towards the schooled teenagers in Jaipur when they are doing the Hurry Up Detour.
• Wall of Blather: Weitong, even after she nearly drowns in the Rapid Waters Roadblock.

Zhang Tielin & Yueliang

Father & daughter. Tielin is an famous actor that is a part of "The Iron Triangle" in the Chinese Entertainment industry. They joined the show to bond with each other. In their final leg, they quit the Rapid Waters Task due to Tielin seeing Yueliang's injured leg and the injured condition of all the other teams. Despite arriving in 3rd, the 1 hour penalty is enough to get them eliminated.

• Back for the Finale: Averted, Yueling didn't appear at the Finish Line
• The Cameo: Tielin becomes the head judge in the Emperor's Guest task in Hong Kong.
• Eloquent in My Native Tongue: Tielin primarily speaks Chinese while Yueling primarily speaks English, which Tielin was sad about it due to living apart before joining the show.
• It Runs in the Family: Yueliang thought of this when not deciding to U-Turn anybody.
• In-Series Nickname: Tielin's is Huang Ama (皇阿玛), the Affectionate Nickname of the Qianlong Emperor that he portrayed in famous Chinese drama My Fair Princess.
• The Load: Tielin, due to being really old (at 56 when the next oldest is at their 40s) and not in peak physical condition.
• Wacky Parent, Serious Child
• Wall of Blather: Tielin, while not as bad as Weitong. He sometimes talks too much that Yueliang will have to urge him a move on.

Ying Cai'er & Liu Yun

Actress besties. Initially Cai'er was meant to race with Chen Xiaochun but this was changed after a married couple (Li Xiaopeng & Li Anqi) was already cast. They were eliminated in Dehli when Liu Yun struggled to read the Hindi script in the Bollywood Task.

• Back for the Finale: Averted, both of them never appear at the Finish Line.
• Mouthy Kid: Cai'er towards the owner of the Lombardi's Pizza as she was explaining one of her orders ^note  As the owner of that order left , this single-handedly makes them fall from being in the lead to bottom feeders, as the owner had something else say ^note They should walk on foot to Tomski Square Park but was pissed off by Cai'er.
