    Yori Manaka
Played by: tearabletrash

Optimistic, enthusiastic, and idealistic, Yori Manaka is a sprightly young boy who values Valentine's Day more than probably anyone else in the world. He's the Ultimate Matchmaker, finding unlikely matches in others and even in himself. While he isn't above fighting for what he believes in, he really just wants everyone to get along. Too bad that's not happening anytime soon...NOTE: This is written by the thread creator, so there may be things in here that haven't been shown or mentioned in the roleplay yet.

  • Adorkable: How he acts around Tsukiko is adorable, enough said. He's a very dorky romantic. He also shows shades of this when he's attempting to get two people together, like Kid and Charlotte.
"H-hi, Tsukiko...." He could barely manage to hide his stutter."
  • Amateur Sleuth: He's nowhere near qualified to be a detective, but shows a lot of initiative while trying to solve the first murder, alongside Daichi and Tsukiko.
  • Apologizes a Lot: To an extent.
  • Ascended Fanboy: He acts like this a lot, especially with the people he pairs up. Tearable jokes that Yori is her 'shipping craze personified' on muliple occasions.
  • Berserk Button: He really doesn't like abusive relationships. And for good reason. He's been through a couple himself.
  • Be Yourself: He encourages this in a lot of people. It's usually his go-to tactic when talking to introverted people.
  • Breakthe Cutie: Participating in a psychopathic murder game isn't necessarily good on the psyche. He appears very, very distraught after the events of the first murder. And we haven't even talked about the first trial.
  • Chivalrous Pervert: He's a lot more....romantic than what meets the eye. He is a matchmaker and he does fall in love very easily...but he never crosses the line. He actually gets very mad if you abuse someone in a relationship and would never think of doing anything past one's comfort zone.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: His family went through a lot of persecution from passerby and family members due to him having two mothers (a lesbian couple). One of them may have died in the wake of the Tragedy, and the other's face is uncertain. There's also the involvement in a murder case with the crush who rejected him (and abused him)...and this is before the Tragedy even really started to kick in. The poor kid's been through a lot...
  • Desperately Craves Affection: Desperately is a nice term. The kid constantly wonders if what he's doing is for good or if it's just to get attention.
