Dead/Inactive in TA2 Act 3 (Threads of Fate)

Last seen at the Falkreath manor

Zudeel

"I don't sing or dance. I'd prefer not to make a fool of myself, especially here."

Played By: KingFeraligatr
Status: Alive

An Argonian Mercenary who took part in the defense of Windhelm alongside the other player characters. He became a Champion of Windhelm and a member of the group searching for the Threads. He disappeared at some point after they woke up at the manor in Falkreath.

  • The Aloner: Dislikes social interaction with his fellow Champions, preferring to sit in a corner with a book while everyone else parties and feasts.
  • Backstory: Was taken as an apprentice to an adventuring Battlemage and went on to make a name for himself as a mercenary and adventurer.
  • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: Disappeared at some point after the manor in Falkreath.
  • Deceased Parents Are the Best: His parents were murdered by slavers whom Zudeel had wronged in his line of work.
  • Mentor Occupational Hazard: His Battlemage mentor was killed on a job gone wrong.
  • True Neutral: Oh, very much so.
  • The Quiet One
  • The Stoic: Stoic is his favorite emotion, second only to neutrality.

"The Debt Collector"/"Quintus Iliad"

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ta2_char_tdc.jpg
"These are dark times we've stumbled upon."

Played by: Velvet LeChance
Status: Alive

An Imperial with strong Telekenesis abilities. He made his debut by attacking Arellius before making his way to Windhelm on a mission to assassinate the Jarl. He met Niralie and Dorian while in the city and went along with them. He was interested in the Threads, and stuck around with the group long enough to help defend Windhelm and become one of its Champions, but slipped away unnoticed afterward to avoid the attention.

  • And I Must Scream: He can render his victims silent by controlling their vocal chords.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: He acts polite to everyone, hiding his true evil nature.
  • High-Class Gloves: He wore some.
  • Karma Houdini: After attacking Arellius and both raping and killing the whore Arellius was with, Quintus moved on to manipulate the people of Windhelm through guile and performance during the Siege of Windhelm, he was rewarded and hailed as a Champion before slipping away quietly, no one knowing of his true nature.
  • Manipulative Bastard: He prefers manipulating people into doing things rather than doing them himself, and he views the whole thing as a game.
  • Mind over Matter: He is an expert at Telekinesis. This can range from as simple as moving an object, to as complicated as manipulating someone's internal organs.
  • Only Known by Their Nickname: His real name has not been given thus far (he is only referred to as "The Debt Collector" in narration) and he has only gone by aliases so far.
  • Slasher Smile: He gave one when attacking Arellius.
  • Wicked Cultured: He has some sort of aristocratic background, and the dress and mannerisms to show for it.

Valentia Rumare

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/839e7a8e17fd14b998bce6bb381dda4b.jpg
"I hope you don't want a housewife, Sir Laennec, because you won't get one out of me."

Played by: Unionhack
Status: Alive

A young Breton mage. She joined the adventurers at Desele's in Suran. When the adventurers' ship wrecked, she took a lifeboat with Arellius and Niralie. The trio encountered Nandrnil and Eolwyn, and made it to Windhelm. She helped defend Windhelm and became one of its Champions, and later joined the Riften Thieves Guild.

  • Adventurer Archaeologist: With more emphasis on the 'Archaeologist'.
  • Backstab: Her method of attacking Malvirian Linvail, opening him up to a fatal shot from Eolwyn.
  • Backstory: She was raised by mage parents, and joined the Mages Guild at a young age. She began traveling the world to learn more about its history, which led her to Morrowind to study the Dwemer.
    • Her claim of being in Morrowind to study the Dwemer was only half-true; she also desired to leave Cyrodiil to find a place where Daedric worship wasn't outlawed, and to escape the painful memory of losing her friends from the cult of Sanguine.
  • Bookworm
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Faced with unrealistic expectations from her parents in her magical studies, Valentia fled and joined a cult of Sanguine to embrace a life of chaos and adventure. Things got bad sometimes, but she considers the wild, hedonistic year she spent with the cult as the best of her life until she lost a majority of her friends in obtaining the Ring of Sanguine Silver Wisdom.
  • Deadpan Snarker: She is easily the most sarcasm-inclined member of the Windhelm crew, if not the entire cast. She is known occasionally drop snarky one-liners.
"Errr... What's a simple way to put this? Psyfalia had a bit of a fall. Horizontally. Against a cabin wall."
  • Healing Hands: She knows healing spells.
  • Hidden Depths: At first glimpse Valentia seems to be a well-off student of magic with little world experience. She has, however, shown evidence to the contrary; for example, she tells Arellius rather casually that she has seen the effects of skooma withdrawal before.
  • I Just Want to Be Special: One of Valentia's defining character traits is her crippling insecurity, being afraid of being merely average for most of her life. She does several things to make herself stand out, from disguising her plain brown eyes as a vivid violet with illusion magic, to wielding a Daedric Artifact to amplify her merely adept skill in illusion to impressive levels.
  • Kill It with Fire: The type of Destruction magic she uses most.
"Vampires again, appearing out of nowhere? Fire. Massive enemy ship? Fire. Pink winged trolls from the uncharted reaches of Oblivion itself? Fire. We don't exactly have the time to put up a detailed defense plan, do we?"
  • Morality Adjustment: During her initial appearance, Valentia displayed a positive demeanor. As the story went on and further hardships occurred, however, her mood has soured to the point of being constantly aggravated, and even conspired with Arellius to take the only lifeboat on the sinking ship for themselves.
  • Naughty by Night: Valentia spent about a year in a cult of Sanguine, who is the daedric lord of hedonistic revelry, debauchery, and passionate indulgence of vices. Needless to say, Valentia has been around the block a few times despite her young age.
  • Near-Death Experience: Arellius tried to behead her; however, Katien's Reflect Damage spell came into effect a split second before, and deflected the blow meant for Valentia.
  • Parental Neglect: The cause for most of her personal issues and problems. Her parents are high-ranking Mages Guild members and she was expected to show prodigal skill; when she proved to only have middling skill in most forms of magic save for illusion, her parents instead became distant instead of encouraging their daughter to perform better.
    • This is implied to be at least a little dramatized by Valentia.
  • Prestige Class: Valentia begins the story as a mage specializing in illusion, though her skill is rather unremarkable without her Amplifier Artifact. As the story goes on and she starts experimenting with the blade, it becomes clear that she has the potential to make for a rather skilled Nightblade given her skillset.
  • Put on a Bus: Left the group of adventurers when she decided to stay with the Riften Thieves Guild and become a member.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/khazi.jpg

  • Aborted Arc: The "cave" side of the story was eventually dropped.

  • Aborted Arc: The "cave" side of the story was eventually dropped.
  • Backstory: He was a thief at some point in is youth, and later became a priest.
  • Ironic Name: His most favored alias 'Nammu' literally translates to 'No name', a subtle nod to his character.
  • Lackof Empathy: Befitting though it seems, regardless of the contrast between his actions. He has displayed this both when he removed potential threats and painfully sapped the very essence from a dying Falmer, or when he unintentionally saved Rosa and consistently offered generous aid.
  • Meaningful Name: Not just his preferred alias, but others as well seem to hold possible hints, or act as adaptations of his real name
  • Nightmare Fuel: This appropriately describes everyone's reaction when Nammu drained an injured Falmer of his very essence in order to replenish his own reserves. A very painful and cruel process especially when driven to lethal levels
  • The Medic: As an alchemist he can make potions, and he also is skilled in Restoration.
  • Never Given a Name: He supposedly lacks a name, openly accepting any alias he is given
  • The Unfettered: His general mindset.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Has a mudcrab phobia.
  • Will Not Tella Lie: Just as it says, he willingly refrains from telling lies.

  • Backstory: He was born in Skyrim as the chieftain's son in Dushnikh Yal. His father abandoned him in the wilderness when he was young, left to die, but he survived and later challenged and killed his father. He did not rejoin his kin, but rather journeyed across Skyrim and the rest of Tamriel.

  • Backstory: He was born in Skingrad, and joined the Mages Guild when he came of age. He studied there and became friends with – and later married – a Dunmer named Anriel. Their son was born early, and lived only a few hours. Anriel became obsessed with the idea of summoning his spirit and bringing him back, and convinced Nandrnil to help her with the ritual.
