Lloyd Aurion

A noble of Vale and the true son of Kratos Aurion, Lloyd came across a young Drake Aurion when both were very young. Taking pity on the boy, Lloyd decided to take him in and his father decided to make Drake an official member of the family. From that point forward both Lloyd and Drake made it their main mission to protect each other and keep each other safe. Almost three years before the story begins, Lloyd was murdered during a raid on their home, leaving Drake scarred both physically and mentally. While he may not be present, he plays a big part in many of Drake's flashbacks and serves as Drake's conscience.

     Tropes
  • All-Loving Hero: Lloyd always tried to see the best in everyone, even if they don’t deserve it and is much more forgiving than Drake.
  • Animal Motif: Tigers.
  • Badass Family: His father, Kratos Aurion, is considered a legend among Huntsmen.
  • Berserk Button: He had several, due to his Hot-Blooded nature.
    • Played Striaght with Drake. Badmouthing or hurting his brother, Drake, in any capacity is guaranteed to put you on his bad side.
    • He dislikes cowardice and hypocrisy.
    • People who spew the word “justice”
  • Beware the Nice Ones: He might have been the nicest of the trio, but Lloyd was just as dangerous as Drake in every way.
  • Big Brother Instinct: To Drake. Lloyd automatically began to bond with Drake the moment he met him. Lloyd wanted to make sure Drake could learn to move on from his missing family and did everything he could to make Drake feel like a welcome addition to the family.
  • Big Brother Worship: Inverted. Lloyd has always admired his little brother's unshakable resolve more than anyone realizes.
  • Broken Hero: Despite having his fair share of trauma and tragedy, Lloyd kept fighting and believing there would be hope in the end.
  • Cool Big Bro: To Drake. It's obvious their fraternal bond was a strong one.
  • The Fettered: While Lloyd accepts the fact that the world can be a cruel place, he has a strong conscience and morals and will always do what’s right. This was apparent when he refused to take revenge against the White Fang despite them murdering his girlfriend, Colette.
  • Half-Human Hybrid: Lloyd's mother is revealed to have been a faunus, while his father, Kratos, a human.
  • Hot-Blooded: Very much so. He has shown to be the more hotheaded, impulsive, passionate and aggressive brother compared to Drake.
  • Ideal Hero: Lloyd is presented as a highly moral, noble, idealistic, empathetic and compassionate individual. This was in contrast to Drake, who is more anti-hero in nature; cold, roguish, cynical, aloof and sarcastic.
  • The Idealist: He always tried to see the lighter side of the world and hopes for the best of things.
  • I Let Gwen Stacy Die: His girlfriend, Colette, was tragically murdered before he could do anything about it.
  • Love Hurts: He tragically lost Colette when the White Fang killed her.
  • Morality Pet: He serves as Drake's conscience and moral compass, as Drake always remembers his 'Ways of Life' when facing certain situations.
  • Nice Guy: Lloyd is a genuinely nice, kind and sensitive guy who cares about everyone.
  • Posthumous Character: Lloyd has been dead for over two years at the start of the story, but he still plays a very important role.
  • Sibling Yin-Yang: To Drake. The differences between them are very hard to miss. Whereas Lloyd is more friendly, hot-headed and idealistic, Drake is more aloof, cynical and patient.
  • Tall, Dark, and Handsome: Lloyd is physically fit, handsome and tall.
  • Undying Loyalty: To Drake. Even though the two have been through the ups and downs more than they can count, there is no doubt that Lloyd is completely devoted to his brother.
  • Wide-Eyed Idealist: This is a stark contrast to Drake's cynicism.
