Male Students

    B01: Edward Rommel
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b1_edward_rommel_7.jpg
B01: Edward Rommel
Designated Weapon: Pepper Spray
Conclusion: Since he has a limited amount of his medicine, he might as well be labeled as insane. It might be a blessing to have that under-sensitivity later on...although it would be scary to his opponents, for sure. (I can just see it now... Ah, zombie boy! No mere bullet takes him down!!)

"Edward Rommel, at you're service."

  • Big Guy, Little Guy: Forms this dynamic with Garret Langston.
  • Character Death: Is hit by a stray bullet from Jacob Starr and bleeds to death in Garret Langston's arms.
  • Gratuitous German: Slips into german from time to time.
  • Last-Name Basis: Prefers that people refer to him as Rommel as he hates his first name.
  • Mexican Standoff: Has the bad luck of getting involved in two of these, one at the waterfall with Umi Martin's group and Gabrielle Minase which he escapes with Garrett Langston and later at the bamboo coppice with the trio of Adam Dodd, Alan Shinwrath, and Hawley Faust followed by the duo of Jacob Starr and Uriel Hunter with Garrett at his side that quickly erupts into a fight that burns the bamboo coppice down and claims the lives of several students.
  • Nice Guy: Repeatedly puts himself on the line for other students like Garrett and Venka. Unfortunately, doing this time and again causes him to get injured by a gunshot which eventually causes him to bleed to death internally.
  • No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: It's his attempt at saving Venka Rapler's life at the bamboo coppice that costs him his life. To make it worse, she dies due to a stray shot from Hawley Faust making his efforts to save her be in vain.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Pulls this on the stand-off between Umi Martin, Aiden Ambrose, and Daisouke Andou's group and Gabrielle Minase when the injured Garrett Langston appears on the scene, taking the injured boy with him.

    B02: Kichiro Taka
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b2_kichiro_taka.jpg
B02: Kichiro Taka
Designated Weapon: Stun Gun
Conclusion: I have a feeling that this kid'll never find G02 (Martin, Umi). The karate that his parents forced him to learn might come in handy later on, and the fact that he's into wrestling. Heh, if only B02 (Taka, Kichiro) had gotten the GPS Scanner...

"Tekishaseizon... desumacchi."

  • Character Death: Inhales too much smoke whilst running through the burning bamboo coppice and chokes to death.
  • I Know Karate: Was forced by his parents to take Karate which he doesn't like that much.
  • Language Barrier: Is one of the few students who can translate for Kiyoko Asakawa.
  • Long-Lost Relative: Is the younger half-brother of Umi Martin whom he's looking for, but doesn't know what she looks like. At one point the two briefly cross paths before Kichiro leaves to keep looking. He only realizes who she is as he's dying from smoke inhalation.
  • Lovable Jock: Track runner, wrestler and an honor student along with being one of the more forgiving and nice students of V1.
  • Pubescent Braces: One of the few characters to have braces.
  • Precious Photo: Has a photo of his half-sister when she was little that his mother had hidden away, his only frame of reference along with her name on the back.
  • Revenge: Vows this on Hawley Faust after he kills August Masbeth and Terry Woodard.
  • Nice Guy: Is one of the nicer students in V1. To the point he travels with Kiyoko to keep her safe and in the know due to her lack of English and defuses the tension between her and Cassandra Roivas, even when Kiyoko stabs him with her boxcutter he's quick to forgive her due to her insomnia.
  • Wrestler in All of Us: Did school wrestling.

    B03: Alan Shinwrath
B03: Alan Shinwrath
Designated Weapon: Brass Knuckles
Conclusion: Ah, wasn't it very fortunate that he got that weapon of all things? He's going to be a game motivator for sure, judging by the amount of homosexuals in the SOTF ACT.

  • Boxing Battler: Taught boxing by his cousin and his preferred fighting style.
  • Character Death: Alan is killed during the firefight at the Bambo coppice, shot in the forehead by Jacob Starr as he charged at him with his brass Knuckles.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: Snaps at the people around him easily, even his allies.
  • Heteronormative Crusader: Was brought up by his father to hate homosexuality. To the point when asked by his allies who he'd kill, Alan answered with Naoji Hideyoshi for no other reason than his sexuality. Even admitting to them that he's not really a threat.
  • Hockey Fight: Adam recalls a story after Alan's death to River Garraty of Alan starting a fight at one of their hockey games.
  • Jerkass: Homophobic, unpleasant, and planned to backstab Adam Dodd after he served his "purpose" during their team-up with Hawley. It's no surprise neither Adam nor Hawley missed him much after his death at the coppice.
  • Pay Evil unto Evil: Follows an "Eye for an Eye" philosophy taught to him by his cousin.
  • Power Fist: A pair of brass knuckles is his weapon of choice.
  • Scars Are Forever: Has two scars on his right hand from slicing his hand on a broken pipe.
  • Violent Glaswegian: Has Scottish ancestry in his family and has a history of violence.

    B04: Aiden Ambrose
B04: Aiden Ambrose
Desginated Weapon: Colt .357 Revolver
Conclusion: The fact that he probably knows a lot of people will help him out later on if he looks for allies. Hopefully, he won't spend time on his hair in the SOTF ACT...if he worries too much about that stuff, then he's a pretty easy target for the others.

    B05: James Coombs
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b5_james_coombs.jpg
B05: James Coombs
Designated Weapon: Throwing Knifes x2
Conclusion: His narcolepsy might be funny to the viewers if he were to sleep at a very crucial moment. With that in mind, his narcolepsy also might be his downfall if he were to fall asleep during combat, or suddenly fall asleep while moving out of a Danger Zone. Thanks to his narcolepsy, he'll be a good target for the other students.

  • Character Death: Is choked out from behind with a chain by Clemence Ceillet De Rousseau.
  • Heavy Sleeper: Suffers from narcolepsy.
  • The Stoner: Smokes pot in his spare time and has a reputation as a pothead.
  • Struggling Single Mother: Was raised by one along with his two sisters.
  • Peeka Boo Corpse: Finds himself taken by surprise when Helena Van Garret's corpse falls out of the chair in front of him. This has dire consequences for him.
  • Poetry: Loves reading and writing poetry and short stories. To the point his last thoughts are of his favorite poem, "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost.

    B06: Uriel Hunter
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b6_uriel_hunter.jpg
B06: Uriel Hunter
Designated Weapon: Pipe Wrench
Conclusions: He'll certainly make everything into a bloody mess, probably claiming everyone to be heretics. B06 will definately be a fan favorite for that reason, what with his talk of heretics and demons and all, and the fact that everyone might as well be demons anyway, what with the fact that they'll eventually start killing each other like crazy.

  • Bald of Evil: Shaven headed and of deeply questionable morality.
  • Character Death: Gets his jaw blown off before a stray shot hits him in the head.
  • Burn the Witch!: He's a big proponent of cleansing fire and burning out sinners and the ungodly, hence:
    • Kill It with Fire: Enjoys a good Molotov, and attacks Adam Dodd, Hawley Faust, and Alan Shinwrath with incendiaries multiple times. He starts a major blaze but just winds up burning himself. He also supposedly immolates someone in his backstory.
  • Sinister Minister: He's a 16-year-old priest and witch hunter and hoo boy does he lean into it with the fire and brimstone.
  • Villain Team-Up: He partners up with Jacob Starr early and spends almost his entire game with him.
  • The Witch Hunter: He has an innocence proves nothing tattoo, carries around a copy of the Witch Hunter Handbook and generally conducts himself like an Ordo Herectus Inquisitor.

    B07: River Garraty
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b7_river_garraty.jpg
B07: River Garraty
Desginated Weapon: Plastic Hammer
Conclusion: ...His weapon. It's...hilarious! (I can't stop laughing about it.) Shame he had to get that weapon of all things. If he had gotten something good, then he probably would've been a contender, seeing how athletic he is and suchandsuch. (Heh...)

  • The Baby of the Bunch: The youngest of his siblings.
  • Character Death: Goes mad and runs into a danger zone, causing his collar to explode.
  • Lovable Jock: Does hockey, biking, and skating and is among the more reasonable ones of the student populace around.
  • Sanity Slippage: Suffers from it as the group around him increases and his paranoia reaches a fever pitch..
  • Person as Verb: The terrorists have nicknamed suicide by danger zone as the "Garraty special".
  • Ridiculously Average Guy : Comes across as this compared to the people around him.

    B08: James Kelecks
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/james_kelecks.jpg
B08: James Kelecks
Designated Weapon: Dagger
Conclusion: This is probably one of the biggest surprises of James's life, the SOTF ACT, that is. One thing he won't be worrying about during this is about his little "social dilemma". He can just kill them all...problem solved.

  • All Love Is Unrequited: Had a crush on Helena Van Garret and laments being unable to tell her after Hawley Faust kills her.
  • Character Death: Dies mid intercourse as Clemence stabs him to death with a dagger.
  • Honey Trap: Falls for Clemence Ceillet De Rousseau when she enters his and Naoji's hideout pretending to be another student despite Naoji's warnings. This proves fatal for them both.
  • Jerkass: Needles Naoji for his sexuality and was among those who bullied Hawley back home.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: What his partnership with Naoji turns into.

    B09: Terry Woodard
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b9_terry_woodard.png
B09: Terry Woodard
Designated Weapon: Box Cutter
Conclusion: He'll probably go down fighting, for sure, trying to fight for this "better life" that he's dreaming of. Shame he'll probably die like the rest. (Heh...)

  • All Love Is Unrequited: Has a crush on August.
  • Brooding Boy, Gentle Girl: Forms a gender-flipped version of this dynamic with August Masbeth. Especially once she learns that Hawley Faust killed her best friend, Helena Van Garret, and leaves to get revenge whilst he accompanies her.
  • Character Death: Dies along with August Masbeth when they try to kill Hawley Faust. Both getting shot with Hawley's gun.
  • Dysfunctional Family: Comes from one with an abusive, drunk mother and a dead father.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Has a tough exterior around others and is distrustful to start, but is loyal and nice once he gets to know them.
  • The Nicknamer: Spends a lot of his time with August giving her different, affectionate nicknames.

    B10: Gabrielle Minase
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b10_gabrielle_minase.jpg
B10: Gabrielle Minase
Designated Weapon: MAC-10
Conclusion: I doubt this kid'll think twice about killing someone else, especially if they are tall. (Snicker...) It'd be fun seeing him go up against B40 (Tognetti, Jon) seeing how they're both pretty stocky and strong individuals (but my money would be on B10, ha).

  • Character Death: Is taken out by a surprise gunshot from Daisuke Andou during his standoff with his group.
  • Ignored Enemy: Despite having a MAC-10 and a willingness to point it at people, many don't find him threatening.
  • Ineffectual Loner: Prefers to be alone from others outside of his rugby teammates and is for the most parts ineffectual during his time on the island.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Despite his rough exterior and harsh actions upon first getting to the school, he catches Xian Chun after she's blinded by the flashbang Sydney Morvran throws at them, dropping his gun in the process to do so, and tries to save Sydney's life after he gets shot. He discards this afterwards in favor of pure survival.
  • Mexican Standoff: Gets in one with Umi Martin, Edward Rommel, Daisuke Andou and Aiden Ambrose. A momentary distraction by Garret Langston stumbling onto the scene and the standoff turns fatal.
  • Used to Be a Sweet Kid: Was once a soft and pampered child, but after his father's death and his mother's remarriage to a short-tempered man who didn't care for him, gradually hardened as he got older. His experiences at school didn't help in that matter.
  • We Will Meet Again: Exclaims this at Anya and Tayli after Sydney's death.

    B11: Marcus Roddy
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/marcus_roddy.jpg
B11: Marcus Roddy
Designated Weapon:Harisen (Paper Fan)
Conclusion: Darn...my money definately would've been on this guy until...well, he got the paper fan! Not even B11 can kill someone with a paper fan, I don't think. Anyways, good luck to him...so much for making a ton of money off of marketting Marcus.

  • Character Death: Falls into a coma due to a concussion and despite his group's best efforts, doesn't wake up. As a result after a debate within the group, he's shot in the head by Adam Dodd.
  • Does Not Know His Own Strength: Tears the door down to the small house as he enters by accident.
  • Gentle Giant: 6'4 and built like a brick house, he's mostly this though he has his limits as shown by his group's confrontation with Blaine Eno.
  • Involuntary Group Split: Gets separated from his group whilst traveling through the woods after running away from the lighthouse due to the encounter with Blaine. This causes him to cross paths with Cody Jenson who had put traps along the area, strings him up, and beats him senselessly.
  • Made of Iron: At first seems to be this, but his injuries are severe enough that he passes out and goes into a coma.
  • Speech Impediment: Suffers from a stutter.
  • Talking with Signs: Due to his stutter, Marcus communicates with his group primarily through handwritten notes.
  • Why Don't You Just Shoot Him?: Espouses this to his group during the confrontation with Blaine, rightly assuming he's too far gone to let live. Later events show the group should have listened to him.

    B12: Andrew Klock
B12: Andrew Klock
Designated Weapon: Machete
Conclusion: Ah...the lucky ducky guy. Quite funny, really, how he got into the SOTF ACT. I have a feeling that he's already insane from watching all his friends in the former SOTF ACT, and won't hesitate to kill the children of this ACT.

  • Character Death: Gets shot by David Jackson.
  • Made of Iron: Suffers several injuries from his fights with other students.
  • The Paranoiac: Suffered from paranoia before the trip and is convinced that others are conspiring against him and frequently gets into fights with other students as a result. Doing this too many times on the island is what ultimately gets him killed.

    B13: Sydney Morvran
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b13_sydney_morvran.png
B13: Sydney Morvran
Designated Weapon(s): Flashbang Grenades x8, & Protective Goggles
Conclusions: His light-heartedness might prove fatal to him during the game. Probably won't kill due to his philosophy of no one being evil (pfft...). Will die early on, most likely, because he will probably be unwilling to kill a soul.

  • Blinded by the Light: Makes good use of his flashbangs during his brief stay.
  • Character Death: Gets shot on accident by Tayli E. Vreeland.
  • Cruel Twist Ending: Sydney won SOTF v0, however, he was forced to participate in Version 1 as a punishment for not killing anybody.
  • Sanity Slippage: Isn't all there, after everything he's been through.
  • Sole Survivor: Sydney was the last person standing in Survival of the Fittest Version 0.

    B14: Jacob Starr
B14: Jacob Starr
Designated Weapon: Combat Knife
Conclusion: The strong and silent type, for sure. B14 seems as if he wouldn't have too much problem killing a fellow student. The fact that he's so quiet, will probably scare a lot of the competition away from even getting close to him, meaning he probably won't even get a chance to use his knife to really slay the competition.

  • Character Death: Gets his throat slashed by Adam Dodd during their final confrontation.
  • Made of Iron: Takes a number of injuries, many of which don't slow him down significantly.
  • Villain Team-Up: Teams up with Uriel Hunter early on and stays with him for a while.
  • Heel–Face Turn: Tries to pull one partway through the game after Uriel dies, but finds himself mistrusted because of his early killings. He soon reverts back.
  • The Rival: Forms this with Adam Dodd after frequent attempts from the former to kill the latter. Fittingly, Jacob's death comes at the hands of Adam Dodd.
  • Pre-Battle Banter: Engages in this with Adam Dodd before their climactic fight at the Gazebo, where the two talk about their time on the island so far whilst eating crackers.

    B15: Naoji Hideyoshi
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/naoji_hideyoshi.jpg
B15: Naoji "Nao" Hideyoshi
Designated Weapon: Bullwhip
Conclusion: Heh, the protector type. Good. I doubt this one will snap so easily, but he will probably end up getting killed if he chooses to protect the wrong person, and that wrong person backstabs him in the end.

  • Character Death: Gets his head cut off by Clemence.
  • Excellent Judge of Character: Has this compared to James, distrusting Clemence when she shows up at their hideout. It's not enough to save him.
  • Honey Trap: Clemence tries this on him, but it doesn't work as Naoji is gay and doesn't trust her.
  • Long-Haired Pretty Boy: His hair reaches down to his knees which he keeps loose rather than braiding or pulling it into a ponytail, and is considered pretty for a boy with a skinny, tall figure.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: What his partnership with James ends up as.
  • Only Sane Man: Is stuck like this in the situation between him, James, and Clemence.
  • Scars Are Forever: Has one on his face that he had gotten from a fight that he tends to cover with his hair.

    B16: Daisuke Andou
B16: Daisuke Andou
Designated Weapon: S-4M (Silent) Pistol
Conclusion: The martial arts he learned as a kid might come in handy. If he gets out of control with his Sado-Masochism, then this competition will become far more interesting than it already is. I have a feeling, though, that B16 is the heroic type, and will probably die saving someone. But, who really knows?

    B17: Andrew Lipson
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b17_andrew_lipson.jpg
B17: Andrew Lipson
Designated Weapon: Mauser M2
Conclusion: A wheelchair, huh? That might become a major liability later on, especially if someone sneaks up on him, or one of the wheels gets stuck in a rut, or something of that sort. Heh...

  • Character Death: Is hit with lightning before being sent over the cliff into the sand below, drowning in the tide.
  • Celebrity Resemblance: Is noted for his resemblance to Adam Sandler.
  • Nice Guy: Despite his circumstances, Andrew is one of the nicer students on the island.

    B18: David Jackson
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b18_david_jackson.jpg
B18: David Jackson
Designated Weapon: Smith & Wesson .357
Conclusion: Heh, shame he didn't get the baseball bat.... Since he's quite accurate, I wouldn't really want to mess with him. If he gets his hand on the bat, he'll be a powerhouse for sure.

  • All Love Is Unrequited: Has a crush on Amanda Jones and confesses, but is rejected as she is going out with Adam Dodd.
  • Character Death: Gets in a fight with Jacob Starr and is shot multiple times across the body and face.
  • The Rival: Forms this with Heather Pendergrast due to their negative interactions through the game, starting with his robbery of her.
  • Jerkass: Out of his group, he is the one who goes for the harshest options and the most willing to kill others.

    B19: Niniko Kishinawa
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b19_niniko_kishinawa.png
B19: Niniko Kishinawa
Designated Weapon: Boxing Gloves
Conclusion: One insane kid. There's not much else to him, really. He'll probably get the first kill, seeing how insane he is. He'll get the SOTF ACT really running. Shame he had to get the boxing gloves, though.... If he is as crazy as he seems, he might be lucky enough to get his hands on a gun and be the SOTF ACT's top dog.

    B20: Ash Holmes
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ash_holmes.jpg
B20: Ash Holmes
Designated Weapon: Kevlar (Bullet Proof Vest)
Conclusion: How fitting that the daredevil was able to get the bulletproof vest. He'll certainly have fun during the ACT, seeing how this will be, without a doubt, the biggest thrill of his life. Although, I don't really see him lasting for very long, as he seems to always be asking for death.

  • Character Death: Gets into a fight with Cillian Crowe, where after a while Cillian snaps from Ash's insults and constant browbeating, rips his tongue out, and hacks into his skull.
  • Made of Iron: Appears at first to be this trope during his confrontation and murder of Sophie Maraschino, but it's really the kevlar he's wearing giving him the illusion.
  • Jerkass: If his personality and looking to fight others wasn't enough of a hint, one of his first acts is to drown a heavily pregnant girl by putting his foot on her and holding her down with it.

    B21: Mason Lucien
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b21_mason_lucien.jpg
B21: Mason Lucien
Designated Weapon: GPS Scanner
Conclusion: Wait, this kid's MACE 21?! The cheating idiot...wonder if he remembers our round of "Craps" online. Whatever, I hope he dies a horrible death. Cheaters never win, especially those who never shower (ha, take that kid!).

  • Character Death: Is repeatedly shot by Heather Pendergrast after Mason makes one too many perverted comments to her.
  • Dysfunctional Family: His mother walked out on him and his father when he was six and stopped sending support to them when he was ten. His father took to alcohol after she left to console himself, not caring much about his son in the process.
  • The Gambling Addict: Gambles after school for fun and carries a pair of dice with him wherever he goes.
  • Jerkass: Mason had plans to play the game until he found out his weapon was a GPS. Aside from that, he thinks it's hilarious when he finds Sydney Movran and Tayli E. Vreeland dead together as he loots their bodies and makes perverted commands to Heather Pendergrast in exchange for cooperation. His inability to control himself gets him killed.
  • The Pig-Pen: Noted for his lack of hygiene and reusing dirty clothes over again, to the ridicule of his peers.

    B22: Hawley Faust
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b22_hawley_faust.jpg
B22: Hawley Faust
Designated Weapon: Remington 11-87
Conclusion: This kid will definately have no qualms about killing the other students. He'll probably be one of the first to completely, and truly snap. But, I don't blame him. He's earned the right to kill the others, and he'll certainly have that right.

  • Bully Hunter: Starts out as this as he decides to hunt down those who tormented him at school.
  • Character Death: Passes away from infection stemming from his neglected wounds whilst surrounded by his friends trying to save his life.
  • Heel–Face Turn: Goes through this after befriending Adam Dodd and more so when he forms a group with the aforementioned Dodd, Amanda Jones, Madelaine Shirohara, David Jackson, and Marcus Roddy.
  • Made of Iron: Takes a number of injuries from skirmishes with other students. Ultimately, neglecting said injuries costs Hawley his life.
  • The Medic: Takes this role in the group due to his medical knowledge, checking on people frequently.
  • Scars Are Forever: Has a scar across his throat from a suicide attempt.
  • Red Headed Step Child: Red-haired and an actual step-child due to being a product of an affair his father had at the hospital he worked at with a nurse. His stepmother has held a grudge against Hawley ever since as living proof of her husband's infidelity.

    B23: Rais Sekth
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b23_rais_sekth.jpg
B23: Rais Sekth
Designated Weapon: Browning BDM
Conclusion: Interesting...a kid with short term memory loss. That'll make some interesting predicaments later on, won't it? Thanks to the SOTF ACT he'll be able to let all his thoughts about death, torture, and violence come into full light. Ah...don't you just love the psycho types?

  • Character Death: Is stabbed from behind by Jacob Starr.
  • The Quiet One: Says only one word during the game.
  • Shoutout: Wears fake lashes on one of his eyes as a tribute to his favorite book.

    B24: Aaron Redfield
B24: Aaron Redfield
Designated Weapon: Children's Scissors (The Plastic Kind)
Conclusion: I don't think even having the best reflexes out there are going to save this guy when he gets into combat. There's a small chance, of course, if he gets crafty. (Heh, get it? Crafty with the children's scissors! Haha...I crack myself up sometimes.)

  • Character Death: Lured in by Katherine Marks and gets her meat hook embedded in him whilst trying to help her.
  • Could Have Been A Contender: An injury courtesy of David Jackson before the trip results in Aaron having metal plates put in his face and being unable to play baseball for the rest of his life.
  • Facial Scruff: Has this along with the beginning of a mustache across his upper lip.
  • Honey Trap: Fooled by Katherine's story and lowers his guard around her.

    B25: Cillian Crowe
B25: Cillian Crowe
Designated Weapon: Meat Cleaver
Conclusions: Ah, the secret weapon. Surely, he'll get a lot of kills. Afterall, what do you expect out of a madman? He's killed before, what will stop him from killing another? I'm sure he'll hack the competition to peices with his weapon...we should keep an eye on him.

  • Character Death: Gets shot repeatedly in the face by Peri Barclay with an Ingram.
  • Insane Equals Violent: Unlike most characters, Cillian was insane going into SOTF - he was placed in an insane asylum for killing his foster parents at the age of 11.

Female Students

    G01: Kiyoko Asakawa
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kiyoko_asakawa.jpg
G01: Kiyoko Asakawa
Designated Weapon: Flail
Conclusion: I have a feeling that this is one of those pyscho girls. She's already crazy enough, what with the fact she can't ever sleep, and she'll probably become even more crazy since she'll be away from a computer for so long (the poor cyber punk...). The fact she doesn't speak any English might be her downfall, but who really knows?

  • Character Death: Kiyoko gets into an altercation with Cassandra Roivas which turns violent as the two hail each other down with bullets.
  • Driven to Suicide: After a series of events within her group, Kiyoko decides to take one of their guns and end her life.
  • Easily Forgiven: Stabs Kichiro with her box cutter, but is forgiven when he finds out she hasn't slept in months due to her insomnia.
  • Language Barrier: Doesn't speak any English and requires everything to be translated to and from her by her allies.
  • The Insomniac: Suffers from insomnia and would spend sleepless night at her computer.
  • Poor Communication Kills: After a series of events in her group, Kiyoko decides to leave with Cassandra stopping her from doing so. As neither can understand one another and neither are willing to compromise, this leads the situation to turn violent.

    G02: Umi Martin
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/umi_martin.jpg
G02: Umi Martin
Designated Weapon: Walther PPK 7.65mm
Conclusion: If she actually gets her hands on a rifle, she'll be a contender for sure. She's going to have to watch her temper, though. If she throws some sort of tantrum at the wrong moment, it might be all over for her.

  • Big Good: Tries to be this to her allies, but finds herself struggling in the role.
  • Character Death: Gets shot by Peri Barclay after thinking she'd killed him in an altercation.
  • Gun Nut: Knows how to use rifles thanks to her father being a hunter and going on frequent trips with him.
  • The Leader: Ends up as this for her makeshift escape group consisting of her, Daisuke Andou, Aiden Ambrose, and Kiyoko Asakawa.
  • Long-Lost Relative: Is Kichiro's half-sister, but Umi does not know that she has a half-brother. She is left in shock once the announcements make their connection clear after his death.

    G03: Venka Rapler
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/venka_rapler.jpg
G03: Venka Rapler
Designated Weapon: Baton (Night Stick)
Conclusion. Loud...I don't think you want to be loud in the SOTF ACT, now do you? She's pretty lucky, I think, winding up in the SOTF ACT (what?!). Her grades wouldn't've gotten her anywhere, and she would've had to repeat the grade, most likely. Atleast she can keep her dignity if she survives the SOTF ACT by not having to repeat the grade (but I doubt that'll happen anyway...heh).

"Oh my gosh! You guys! Stop right now!"

  • Character Death: Is shot through the head whilst trying to stop the fight between Jacob Starr and Hawley Faust.
  • Social Climber: Described as such in her profile.
  • The Fashionista: Spends a lot of her time trying different makeup and hairstyle ideas that she gets from magazines.
  • Indian Maiden: Has Native American ancestry through both her parents.
  • No Indoor Voice: Noted for her loud voice.
  • Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Her attempt at stopping the firefight at the bamboo coppice results not only in her death but the death of Edward Rommel who tried to stop her from getting in the crossfire.

    G04: Xian Chun
G04: Xian Chun
Designated Weapon: Metal Corkscrew
Conclusion: It'll be fun to see her go insane, for sure. I doubt that she'll get many kills with her weapon, but if she does, it'd be a fun sight to see. But, her positive attitude might be something that is needed for some students on the island, so she might be able to gain allies quickly.

  • Character Death: Blown up by a grenade thrown by Angelina Kaige along with Angharad Davies.
  • Died in Your Arms Tonight: Cole Hudson bleeds out in her arms after their fight with Andrew Klock.
  • Driven to Madness: Witnessing the deaths of Sydney Morvran and Cole Hudson along with the constant attacks from other students starts to drive Xian insane as time goes on.
  • The Stoner: Tries marijuana for the first time with Cole Hudson and bonds with him over the experience, confessing she'd never done it before.

    G05: Amanda Jones
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/g5_amanda_jones.jpg
G05: Amanda Jones
Designated Weapon: Wooden Baseball Bat (with a nail jutting out of it)
Conclusion: The vice president's daughter, eh? Funny how we've got everyone and no one in Survival of the Fittest... I'm sure that she'll meet a lot of bleeding people holding weapons out here. Heh...if she and Adam meet up, and their feelings are mutual we may be able to market them both and show SOTF in a more bittersweet, romantic way.

  • Character Death: Is suddenly shot in the head by Cody Jenson.
  • Drama Club: Is a part of it along with her crush, Adam Dodd.
  • Huge Schoolgirl: Amanda stands at 6'3, making her one of the taller girls in the version.
  • Screw This, I'm Out of Here!: Does this as the group comes to the decision to kill Marcus after his coma, disgusted with everyone involved.

    G06: Helena Van Garrett
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/g6_helena_van_garret.png
G06: Helena Van Gerrett
Designated Weapon: Hacksaw
Conclusion: If G06 doesn't find any allies, she's as good as dead. Her looks will keep male viewers hooked on the show, especially if she does something edgey (heh, heh...). Thanks to her looks, though, she'll probably be able to allure a lot of boys into doing whatever she wants them to do, such as protecting her and the like.

  • Best Friend: To August Masbeth.
  • Character Death: Dies during a fight with Hawley Faust in revenge for her bullying him at school.
    • Made of Iron: Despite getting hit with a shotgun blast to the stomach, Helena still gets up to fight her attacker with her hacksaw.
  • Rich Bitch: Her family is well off thanks to her father and she treats those she looks down upon with disdain. Though she's not without those that like her and she treats those that are up to her standards very nicely.

    G07: Morgana "Anya" Vendvmagli
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/g7_morgana_anya_vendvmagli.jpg
G07: Morgana "Anya" Vendvmagli
Designated Weapon: Manurhin MR-73
Conclusion: She'll probably be able to lie her way out of certain death if the need arises. It would be fun to see her drunk, as terrible as that may sound (heh, but it's not as terrible as the SOTF ACT is). Using her wit, she might be able to pick up some allies pretty fast, that is if she doesn't get killed first.

  • The Alcoholic: Downs bottles of gin that she has in her bag in response to events around her.
  • Character Death: Repeatedly stabbed and shot with her own gun by Jacob Starr.
  • Deadpan Snarker: How she deals with the antics of those around her at the school, even when her life is in danger.
  • Then Let Me Be Evil: After getting shot at by Gabrielle Minase and witnessing Sydney Morvran's death, she decides to play the game and flees the school. She doesn't get far after making this decision.

    G08: Wednesday Garci
G08: Wednesday Garci
Designated Weapon: Jitte (Fighting Staff)
Conclusion: Hopefully she finds the love of her life... so many possibilities for the couple when it comes to marketing. If G08 finds her love dying, and she dies in her arms, that's publicity right there. If G08 accidentally gets killed by her love, that's even MORE publicity. Heh... hopefully she finds her love!

  • Character Death: Shot by Elijah Rice along with her girlfriend Chi Masumi.
  • I Will Find You: Wednesday spends most of her game trying to find her girlfriend, worried that she could be dead or worse.
  • Shower of Awkward: Decides to take a shower at the bathroom facility and gets walked in on by Jason Andrews.

    G09: Katherine Marks
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/katherine_marks.jpg
G09: Katherine Marks
Designated Weapon: Meat Hook
Conclusion: She hoped for peace and solitude...the SOTF ACT is exactly the opposite. Good eyecandy for the viewers, not much else. I don't see this girl surviving for very long...

  • Character Death: Is hit through the eye with a marble from a slingshot fired by Chi Masumi and dies.
  • Honey Trap: Lures Aaron Redfield in with a made-up story to get him to put his guard down before killing him with her meat hook.
  • The Social Expert: Knows how to manipulate others to get what she wants.
  • Then Let Me Be Evil: After numerous mishaps of danger zones, witnessing deaths and being attacked by Jacob Starr, Katherine decides to become a killer herself.

    G10: Cassandra Roivas
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/g10_cassandra_roivas.jpg
G10: Cassandra Roivas
Designated Weapon: Saiga 12 (Shotgun)
Conclusion: A+ student turned into one of those no-class little punky kids. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing her die off, as she's just a punk, and if not that, a punk wanna-be hanging around other punks. But, no matter, stereotypes are nothing in SOTF. I think, if she has to go down, she'll go down fighting until the end.

  • Artificial Limbs : She was born without her right arm from the elbow down and thus wears a prosthetic arm.
  • Character Death: Confronts Kiyoko as she tries to leave the group, which quickly turns ugly between the two and they open fire on each other.
  • Intelligence Equals Isolation: Was an excellent student early on in her life and was allowed to skip a grade as a result, but found it hard to make friends and started to lose interest in school. This started affecting her grades and reputation to the point she's more known for being a slacker.
    • The Slacker: Became this after losing interest in school.
  • Poor Communication Kills: Tries to get Kiyoko to drop her weapon as she tries to leave, but neither speaks the same language and the barrier along with the stress of the situation gets to the both of them.
  • Shotguns Are Just Better: Her weapon of choice.

    G11: Selene Acton
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/g11_selene_acton.jpg
G11: Selene Acton
Designated Weapon: Hand Axe
Conclusion: She might get pretty crafty with her weapon. It'll be interesting to see when she gets some kills, that is, IF she gets any. The fact that she isn't really that close to any of her friends might mess her up in the long run. But, then again, friends mean nothing in the SOTF ACT, so that's not too much of a setback for her.

  • Character Death: Misses the announcement that turns the lighthouse into a danger zone and has her collar detonated.
  • Little Stowaway: Snuck on the trip despite having dropped out of school.
  • Psychotic Smirk: Is noted for her "devious" smile.

    G12: Chi Masumi
G12: Chi Masumi
Designated Weapon: Slingshot (x15 shots)
Conclusion: Will definately, without a doubt, keep male viewers 18 through 35 interested in her, and SOTF. She'd definately make good marketing for the SOTF ACT. I wonder, though...what would've happened if she had gotten a sickle? (Heh...)

  • Character Death: Shot alongside her girlfriend - Wednesday Garci - by Elijah Rice.

    G13: Devi Satome
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/g13_devi_satome.jpg
G13: Devi Satome
Designated Weapon:Colt M1911 (.45ACP)
Conclusion: The wrestling will come in handy, for sure. The fact that she shot and killed someone will also help her, seeing how she probably already knows how to shoot, although since that was a while ago (and who knows what kind of gun she was using?) it might not help too much. The fact she doesn't have any qualms about killing can make her a contender.

  • Character Death: Neck slashed open with a meat cleaver by Cillian Crowe.
  • Defensive Feint Trap: Tries to trick Glenn Hughes and Chi Masumi into entering the caves by laying down into a fetal position and crying, but neither takes the bait and leave instead.
  • Stopped Caring: At one point wanders into the warehouse, walks past the group that had hunkered down there, finds herself a room and lays down to sleep without a care in the world.
  • The Mentally Disturbed: Suffers from undiagnosed schizophrenia.
  • Wrestler in All of Us: Did two years of wrestling at school.

    G14: Marie Zaid
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/marie_zaid.jpg
G14 Marie Zaid
Designated Weapon: Butter Knife
Conclusion: Meh, a rock-addicted punk. Feh, American kids these days... But, her loyalty towards others might be great in the end for whomever she teams up with (really, it's quite inevitable that she'll gather a team together to try and do the impossible...).

  • Character Death: Gets her throat slashed by Daphne Rudko at the waterfall.
  • Headphones Equal Isolation: Almost never takes off her headphones and spends her time listening to music from her MP3 player. Doing this at the wrong time leads to her missing important information and gets her killed.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Follows Glenn Hughes's lead and pulls this when Jacob Starr pulls up post Heel–Face Turn at the gazebo.
  • Shower of Awkward: Walks in on Adam Dodd showering at the bathroom facility.

    G15: Daphne Rudko
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/daphne_rudko.png
G15: Daphne Rudko
Designated Weapon: Paring Knife
Conclusion: What a complete and utter drama story...(heh). Daphne'll probably get a kick out of her weapon, seeing how it was the same type of knife that she used to kill her parents. I don't really see anyone really teaming up with her...as I see it, she's just a lifeless doll, really, and the fact she won't really trust might be her downfall. Rather wildcard, really. Might be a contender, depending on how she deals with having that weapon, of all things.

  • Character Death: Shot multiple times by Jason Andrews.
  • Heel–Face Turn: After Glenn Hughes lets her live after the things she's done, it looks as if Daphne will turn her life around...
  • Hiding in Plain Sight: Ends up hiding in a bush outside the hospital to remain undetected by the group that had come in.
  • Hannibal Speech: Tries to pull this on Glenn Hughes after she's killed three people, but he harshly rebukes her.

    G16: August Masbeth
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/g16_august_masbeth.png
G16: August Masbeth
Designated Weapon: Aluminum Bat
Conclusion: If she doesn't get an ally, or meet up with her friend, she's pretty much as good as dead. She's going to have to gain some independence, really, elsewise she's going to die a lonely, lonely death. Maybe she'll luck out and gain an ally, or two, but who really knows? I have a feeling that she'll eventually snap and take part in the game like so many others, especially with such a weapon.

  • Accomplice by Inaction: Would stand by as her friends bullied other students such as Hawley Faust and Gilbert Archambault.
  • Batter Up!: Her weapon.
  • Best Friend: Is this to Helena Van Garret.
  • Character Death: Dies along with Terry in a foolhardy fight against Hawley Faust, both shot to death.
  • Revenge Before Reason: Decides to take revenge against Hawley Faust for killing Helena Van Garret despite only being armed with a bat.
  • Scars Are Forever: Has a burn scar on her arm due to an incident as a youth, she keeps it covered with bandages.

    G17: Tayli E. Vreeland
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/g17_tayli_e_vreeland.jpg
G17: Tayli E. Vreeland
Designated Weapon: Glock (9mm)
Conclusion: The simple, kind type. It'll be fun to see her snap, like it is fun to see with all girls and boys of her type.

  • Accidental Murder: Tayli trips after running out of the janitor's closet she had been hiding in whilst holding a gun, firing it and killing Sydney Morvran.
    • Character Death: She stays in the school as it turns into a danger zone while sitting next to Sydney. Resulting in her collar detonating.
  • Blinded by the Light: Is for a while blind due to a flashbang thrown by Sydney after she pointed her gun at him thinking he was going to hurt Xian Chun whilst in a panicked state.
  • Nice Girl: Tries her best to get everyone to trust one another after bunkering up at the school, but slowly starts to break as the stress gets to her.

    G18: Sophie Maraschino
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sophie_maraschino.jpg
G18: Sophie Maraschino
Designated Weapon: Smith & Wesson M19
conclusion: Ah. I would say that I pity this girl, but then again, I would be lying. (Heh...) A lot of viewers will probably pity her, though. Who knows if other people on the island might pity her aswell, letting her live? With that in mind, G18 might win on a count of no one wanting to kill her on account of her pregnancy, but I'm not too sure about that.

    G19: Elise Aversano
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/g19_elise_aversano.jpg
G19: Elise Aversano
Desginated Weapon: Colt .45 Pistol
Conclusion: Being able to hold her own in a fight will come in handy in the ACT, but her quick-to-judge attitude might be her downfall if she underestimates someone. I have a feeling that she'll annoy someone to the point of killing her, although G19 might be able to trick people using her smarts.

"Sorry about the unorthodox greeting, just some asshole shot me in the legs, as you can see."

  • Character Death: Shot multiple times in the stomach by Stevan Hyde and bleeds out.
  • Chew Toy: Repeteadly mistreated by Peri and Stevan, as well as shot and tortured by them after she runs away. Also having to deal with David's distrust when his group shows up at the hospital despite her crippling injuries.
  • Determinator: Drags herself to the hospital from the eastern shore after getting shot in the thighs multiple times by Peri Barclay.

    G20: Heather Pendergast
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/g20_heather_pendegrast.png
G20: Heather Pendergast
Designated Weapon: Walther P99
Conclusion: Such a shame that she wasn't able to transfer to Raccoon High in time.... Maybe she wouldn't've had to participate in the SOTF ACT. Although, if things are to go as planned, we would've eventually targetted that school aswell.

"Oh please... I don't trust you, you might as well be speaking Latin."

  • Character Death: Passes away from her numerous injuries in the arms of Jeremy Torres, her constant ally whilst thinking of him as her rock on the island.
  • Chew Toy: Robberies, constant attacks, debilitating injuries and Mason Lucien creeping on her in exchange for aid, Heather has a particularly difficult time on the island. It gets to the point that while she is trying to deal with Daphne Rudko for killing Marie Zaid, she lifts her shotgun to aim at her - the one she has been using as a crutch because of her injuries - then proceeds to fall over due to the lack of supports and roll down the hill whilst severely injured.
  • Does Not Like Men: Due to an incident at her previous school, Heather struggles to trust men.
  • Gun Nut: Has had an interest for guns her whole life and her uncle would teach how to use them properly along with improving her aim.
  • The Rival: Ends up as this with David Jackson due to David robbing her early on and the two have frequent bad interactions through the game.
  • Only Sane Man: Quickly takes this role in her group in response to the events around her.
  • Made of Iron: Takes a staggering number of injuries and keeps going, though as time goes on her injuries take their toll on her and she needs more and more help from her allies to move around. Ultimately, it's too much for her and she dies from them.

    G21: Madelaine Shirohara
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/g21_madelaine_shirohara.png
G21: Madelaine Shirohara
Designated Weapon: Tire Iron
Conclusion: I have a feeling that G21 will be writing a lot in her pocket diary.... Hopefully, she doesn't wrongly place her trust in someone that'll kill her in the end. I have a feeling that someone might backstab her.

"...the desire to feed on the misery of others, the desire to hate...both are actually very normal, human things. That said, who says we can't choose to rise above all that?"

  • Big Good: Tries to be this to her allies.
  • Character Death: Gets her throat bitten out by Cody Jenson.
  • Cool Big Sis: Is this to her sister, who she took care of when her parents were busy.
  • Heroic BSoD: Goes into shock as her old friend - Nanami Nishida - bleeds out in front of her after Madelaine shoots her. It temporarily makes her mute as well after she gets out of it.
  • The Reliable One: Is noted to be this to her family and friends, frequently spending time making sure things were well and orderly. This has given her a bit of a complex about taking care of people.

    G22: Cydni Pullman
G22: Cydni Pullman
Designated Weapon: Saber
Conclusion: I have a feeling that G22 will get creative in trying to win. Either that, or she'll be driven insane by her want to go to a great school...

  • Character Death: Is decapitated by Angharad Davies.
  • Jerkass: Terse and short with others in conversation, at one point having to be convinced to give Dorian Greywood his glasses back after he'd lost them.
  • Straight Man: Ends up this compared to Vince Noir, who she tries to convince the situation is too dire for him to act like he does.

    G23: Clemence Ceillet de Rousseau
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/g23_clemence_ceillet_de_rousseau.png
G22: Clemence Ceillet de Rousseau
Designated Weapon: Chain
Conclusion: Hm, it's about time that we got one of these female baddies. The fact she probably won't have any remorse about killing is a plus for her. I'd like to see how she'd react to B25 if the two were to meet, since they're pretty much opposites. ...I'm going to keep an eye on G23, since she seems to be a contender.

  • Character Death: Killed by Cody Jenson in a short fight near the end of the game.
  • Creepy Ballet: A ballet dancer and definitely comes across as creepy with her actions across the game.
  • French Jerk: She's from France and a terrible person.
  • Foil: To Jeremy Torres, the two have wildly contrasting games as Clemence quickly takes to killing with a self-serving angle towards everything she does, and Jeremy is one of the opponents to the game with much self-sacrifice involved. Exemplified most by their sport flashbacks late in the game. Clemence is in awe of the lengths her fellow ballerina would go to stay thin and emulates them while Jeremy pushes himself past his limits for his sport but is reluctant to feel good about it.
  • Honey Trap: Her tactic for dealing with James and Naoji. Her first attempt with Naoji doesn't work due to his sexuality and mistrust of her, but she gets better results with James.
    • Rich Bitch: Comes from a wealthy family and looks down upon "Commoners", to the point she has sicced dogs on people for various reasons.
  • Weight Woe: Purges to stay thin after seeing an older ballerina do so when she was younger.

    G24: Miranda Grey
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/miranda_grey.jpg
G24: Miranda Grey
Designated Weapon: Chinese Long Sword (Da Dao)
Conclusion: Hey, maybe G24 brought a diary along on the trip. She'll be famous all over again...that is if she survives. I have a strange feeling, though, that this one'll last pretty long using simple wit. But, who knows when it comes to the ACT?

    G25: Kaleigh Jones
G25: Kaleigh Jones
Designated Weapon: Bag of Sawdust
Conclusions: Ah, where should I begin? With Kaleigh herself, or with the alluring Freya? Or, maybe with the childlike Carly? ...Multiple personality fun. It'll be interesting to see G25 in action, seeing how she has three different "selves".

  • Split Personality: Has three - Kaleigh (the original), Carly (a young girl), and Freya (an outgoing, mature adult).
