    The Main Villains

Radiguet

"Now I can focus on crushing the All-Stars, leaving the girl to despair...forcing her to accept her destiny. And then, I—er, we—will rule."

The Big Bad of Jetman, revived by the Ultimate Evil to send Rika into despair. He first appeared in Chapter 6 of the liveblog for Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers, kidnapping the liveblogger and placing her into his lair. In the course of the arc, he gave the All-Stars and Scouts several challenges along the way, and he later kidnapped the latter team by sending them into dimensions and facing the monsters.

Later, after kidnapping the Scouts and making sure his monsters were dead, he revived them by making the Scouts their hosts, against their will. He then sent them to fight the All-Stars, and while it seemed that they broke the spell with the help of the Scouts, he revealed that the heroes killed their friends.

Little did he know that he was wrong—the Scouts were sent into Limbo, and they were later revived with stronger powers. In the end, the Tokusatsu Spirits saving the Scouts and reviving them, coupled with Radiguet's own pride, were his undoing; he planned to kill Rika and take the Eldritch's powers as his own, much to the unhappiness of the Evil, and the Scouts—later renamed the Legendary Rangers—saved the All-Stars when he nearly killed them. After an intense battle, Radiguet was sent back to Hell by the Eldritch.

  • A God Am I: Like in Jetman, he announces to the All-Stars that he's the god for humanity. While most of them laugh it off, this is his true goal: to become one for real.
  • Battle Theme Music: "Master Passion Greed" and "Sahara" by Nightwish, for Radiguet himself in Epic 34 and Radigan in the finale.
  • Big Bad: Of the main Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers arc.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: He does not like the Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers fanfic, especially with how he was portrayed in it. Even though he's an absolute bastard in both Jetman and in the arc itself, that's really saying something.
  • Expy: Of Ghetsis. Both are monstrous characters who only care about themselves and never their own allies, even using them for their own needs. Both also have their own true plans revealed near the end—Ghetsis' was for him to be the only one to wield Pokemon, Radiguet's was for killing everyone, Rika included, and taking the Eldritch's powers as his own. Hell, the quote above is also based on what Ghetsis would sometimes say.
  • Fate Worse than Death: In the finale, after the battle, the Eldritch takes him back to Hell, where he's beaten up by monsters for all eternity.
  • Godhood Seeker: His true goal is to become a god for real, which is why he planned to kidnap Rika, drive her to despair to become the Eldritch's host, and then kill them along with the Rangers and actors.
  • It's All About Me: He has no regard for any life but his own. He relishes in despair, shown when the All-Stars find out that the Scouts are dead, and he even attacks Akire and Momortex for not being fair. He also flat-out says that he'll kill Rika after using her to kill his enemies and take the Eldritch's powers.
  • Near-Villain Victory: In the penultimate chapter, he nearly kills the Rangers by absorbing the attacks and powers from the surviving mages and convert it into an energy ball. Had the Legendary Rangers not put up a barrier to absorb the fatal blow, he would have won.
  • One-Winged Angel: Radiguet transforms briefly into Radigan in the finale.
  • Villainous Rescue: In Mission 23, he saved Sean from Akire and his remaining fire monster army...then he turned around and attacked the actor before he went through the portal.

RINO

The main villain of Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers II, RINO was Radiguet from the fanfic Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers. Like his fanfic counterpart, he schemed without really acting upon them, he punished his allies, and he sat on his throne most of the time.

Until Chapter 16, where he fought against Flurious and was dethroned after losing against him. In anger over the defeat and the surviving Horsemen planning, if briefly, to overthrow him, he killed Conquest and cursed Death with a Taking You With Me-styled curse to where if he died, she would die as well. On top of that, he ate Conquest's heart to become a hybrid of both men and gaining more of his power.

In the finale, after breaking Akira before her own death, RINO challenged Rika into a battle, and she would have died if not for Conquest and Dante saving her. After an intense battle, Rika kills RINO with an arrow of light, the light itself consuming his body until it was left as a withered husk.

  • Devour the Dragon: Literally, with Conquest's heart.
  • Expy: Of Master Xandred, even if unintentionally. Both sit on their thrones for the majority of the series, and near the end, they kick the collective asses of the Rangers.
  • Flat Character: Very much so. The only things he does throughout the entire arc are barking orders at the Horsemen and punishing them for their failures, killing Conquest and eating his heart to become a hybrid, and breaking Akira before her death.
  • Nothing Is Scarier: What he exactly did to Akira during those three weeks. Sure, he mentioned breaking her mind so she wouldn't rule against him. But when he mentioned to Rika that he did particularly bad things to Akira in such a way that it would be like seeing her own favorite doing it to her...
  • Orcus on His Throne: With the exceptions of a few scenes, he prefers to just remain in his lair, allowing the Horsemen to do the work. Until Chapter 16, where he's fed up by the Horsemen's failures and takes care of business himself. But at that time, he's hijacked by Flurious.
  • You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: The reason why he killed Conquest and plotted to kill Akira.

Dezumozorlya

"Either way, it’ll lead to (Rika's) ultimate downfall. Her precious Rangers will not be able to save her. And if the Lich project falls through, it will still happen, either one of these two futures."

The main villain and the leader of the new villain team in Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers III. For the first six chapters, he gave orders to the other villains to distract the All-Stars for one reason: to obtain lichdom and recreate the world in his image.

Eventually, his plans slightly changed right after Rika's defeat at the hands of Neo-Kiros. Right after he obtained her morpher, he gave Neo-Kiros some...unsavory duties to do to her. When that failed, he controlled Gosei and had him present two roads she has to choose between: either to save the Legendary Rangers and find the cure, or ditch them and fight the monster herself. Eventually, in Chapter 11, he has his downfall when his plans failed: first, the Brotherhood of Destruction found the secret to lichdom before he did, and an attempt to have Conquest side with them failed miserably. Secondly, Neo-Kiros backstabs the villain and curses him with the same Parasite Curse that affected Tori, Dan, Mako, and Xander. This weakens the god of evil, and he was ultimately destroyed by the Brotherhood of Destruction.

  • Big Bad: The leader of the new group of villains in Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers III.
  • Demonic Possession: Was the one who controlled Gosei and forced him to obtain a human body so he could speak with Rika. And in the future where she would save the Legendary Rangers, he would force the people to brand her as a villain, leading to her execution; along with another path where she would save people but become ugly at the same time, he would also warp the Tokusatsu Spirits as well.
  • Evil Sounds Deep: Speaks in a deep, ghastly tone fitting for the Eldritch God of Evil.
  • Fluffy the Terrible: His in-story nickname, "Dezzie".
  • God of Evil
  • Hijacked by Ganon: He is killed off by both the Brotherhood of Destruction and Neo-Kiros' Parasite Curse, but the latter villain steals his soul and takes the overall role as the Big Bad.
  • I Love the Dead: Tries to force this onto Neo-Kiros after defeating Rika and thinking that she is dead. It doesn't take.
  • Knight of Cerebus: By far the most fearful of the villains the Rangers and Rika ever faced, and for a damn good reason. Whenever he shows up in some capacity, expect the chapters to become darker than ever before. Chapters 7 through 9 shows us why, featuring him commanding Neo-Kiros to do unsavory things to Rika, while thinking she has died from the battle; then upon finding out that she's alive, he controls Gosei and shows her two bad futures with hardly a chance to change those futures.
  • Villainous Breakdown: Suffers a huge one in Chapter 11. All because of his plans failing.
  • Walking Spoiler: It's no secret that one of his ultimate goals is to become a lich. What he does from Chapter 7 on, however, changes the entire game, and is a secret for that very reason.

Neo-Kiros

"You’ll know full well what a lone wolf warrior’s actually like, where his loyalties truly lie."

The first new villain in Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers III. Neo-Kiros is the embodiment clone of the original Kiros, powered by anger and jealousy from his losses at the hands of the Maskmen, Takeru especially. For the first six chapters, he was just a basic villain, sending out monster after monster to occupy the All-Stars with, and he was also Dezumozorlya's secret-keeper as the abomination planned to become a lich.

All that changed in Chapter 7. After Dezumozorlya gave Neo-Kiros the command to rape Rika's corpse, he refused. His anger towards his master increased after the battle with the Legendary Rangers, when Dan, Tori, Mako, and Xander were affected by the Parasite Curse, and he decided to seek revenge against his master for this.

After being defeated by Rika, Sean, and Mao in Chapter 10, his plans for revenge were set into motion. First, he pricks Dezumozorlya with the Parasite Curse, allowing him to fall victim to it. Secondly, he assists Akira and Dante into creating the items needed for the lichdom ritual in an attempt to not have Dezumozorlya control Conquest, an act that succeeds. Finally, he uses three orbs to capture the souls of his former master and his former allies, Neo-Vypra and Octoroo, upon death, leaving him as the sole survivor and wanting Rika to be the only one to defeat him in an attempt to avert both bad futures. In the end, after a tough fight, Neo-Kiros dies thanks to Rika's ultimate attack, the Thousand Arrows.

  • The Bad Guy Wins: To a degree. His plans of overthrowing Dezumozorlya so he could help stop the bad futures from ever occurring and letting Rika win both succeeded, even with the assistance of the heroes.
  • Baritone of Strength: Sports a deep, rich voice and kicks the asses of the heroes and, indirectly, Dezumozorlya like there's no tomorrow.
  • The Dragon: To Dezumozorlya, an upgrade from the original's Sixth Ranger status. Until Chapter 7, where the events that transpire there turn him into the Starscream. Then Chapter 11 sees him as the Big Bad, taking over the role from Dezumozorlya and actually succeeding in it where other villains have failed.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: Appeared in the stinger of Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers II, swearing revenge against the Rangers.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: It's no wonder why Neo-Kiros would decide to seek revenge for the commands Dezumozorlya gave him.
  • The Only One Allowed to Defeat You: Really intends Rika to defeat him so he can help avoid both of her bad futures.
  • Pay Evil unto Evil: In Chapter 11, he curses Dezumozorlya with the same Parasite Curse that fell the majority of the Legendary Rangers. This weakens him, allowing the Brotherhood of Destruction to kill him effortlessly.
  • Secret-Keeper: A villainous example, with him being the one who keeps the main idea of his master gaining lichdom secret. The one thing they didn't expect, though, was the Brotherhood of Destruction trying to get to that goal first.
  • Soul Power: In Chapter 11, Neo-Kiros revealed that he created orbs to capture the souls of Dezumozorlya, Neo-Vypra, and Octoroo when they perished. He used the souls to heal himself, protect himself, and in the case of Chapter 12, transforming Nightmare Michael Grayson into Megazord Gear REX and powering the mecha up.
  • The Starscream: Starting in Chapter 7, he becomes this after his refusal to rape Rika and witnessing the Legendary Rangers suffer from the Parasite Curse. With these events, coupled with Dezumozorlya telling him more plans to break the heroes, Rika in particular, he decides to turn on his master and overthrow him, to great success.
  • Walking Spoiler: Like Dezumozorlya, Chapter 7 proves to be quite the game-changer for him.

Neo-Vypra

One of the new villains in Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers III, Neo-Vypra is the embodiment clone of the original Vypra herself, powered by revenge from her losses to the Lightspeed Rangers.

  • The Baroness: Of the sexpot variety, in contrast to the original's Rosa Klebb variety. She uses her sex appeal to seduce men and steal their life force, gunning almost immediately for Michael Grayson, simply for being the son of Carter/Catherine Grayson, and in Chapter 8, doing the same thing to Carter himself. And she would have succeeded, too, had Tim and Orion not arrive in time to save Michael, and Carter not fight her off before the two could make love.
  • Femme Fatale: Her sole role in the story, as she seduces Michael and Carter, only for them to fail, and aside from helping to create monsters and telling Dezumozorlya about the Brotherhood's whereabouts, doesn't do a whole heck of a lot.
  • Master of Disguise: Can disguise herself as a normal human woman in order to carry out her plans.
  • Playing with Fire: Her main elemental ability, carried over from her original series.
  • The Smurfette Principle: The only female villainess in Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers III.

Octoroo

The final member of Dezumozorlya's team of villains in Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers III. Octoroo was chosen after the events of Power Rangers Samurai to help out in resurrecting Dezumozorlya, and creating Neo-Kiros and Neo-Vypra.

  • Cthulhumanoid: Like in the original, he resembles both Cthulhu and an old man.
  • Evil Wizard: The one who helps create spells, monsters, and other magical items for the villains.
  • Sole Survivor: Of Master Xandred's army. However, he doesn't survive the story, having been killed by the Rangers in Chapter 11.
  • Verbal Tic: "Ooh-ah-ooh!"

    Monsters of the Week

Radiguet's Elemental Monsters

These are the monsters Radiguet created in Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers' first liveblog, consisting of the following members: Akire, Aocean, Midorungle, Momortex, Darkuroi, and Kithunder. All of them were chosen to defeat the Scouts/Legendary Rangers and bring them to their master. However, most of them were defeated themselves by the heroes.

The Legendary Rangers were later chosen to become vessels of the fallen monsters. After their battle with the All-Stars, however, the monsters fell a second time and reverted the heroes back to their normal selves.

Nightmare

"Now! It’s time for you Rangers to march onward to your ultimate nightmare! Your demise at my hands!"

The main Monster of the Mini-Arc in Chapters 1-2 of Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers III, created by Neo-Kiros with a bit of help from Neo-Vypra. With the help of his underlings, the Nightmare Animatronics, Nightmare takes the sleeping souls to his dream world, where he rules. After he gives Catherine and Michael a challenge to save the souls, he then makes the dream world into...various messed-up challenges such as fighting Bubbas in Vapor Land or singing.

But it was all a ruse in the attempts to let their guard down, for he sought destruction for the heroes. After they barely survived the next two stages, a factory with lots of murderous versions of Balloon Boys and fighting against the controlled victims, he showed up as the final challenge. Despite putting up a good fight, Nightmare was ultimately defeated by the combined forces of Catherine and Michael's Elemental Laser Blast attack.

  • Bears Are Bad News: Nearly defeated Catherine and Michael unmorphed by himself, constructed dream worlds to sucker them into their own demise, and is just as powerful as he was back in his original source.
  • Dark Is Evil: Like in the original, why else is his body nearly completely black?
  • The Darkness Gazes Back: In Chapter 1, this is how he makes his first appearance: by showing his face with red eyes in absolute darkness.
  • Evil Sounds Deep: Speaks in a deep, guttural voice that's said to be even deeper than Michael's own voice.
  • Expy: Not to Fredbear this time, but to Bahamuu in the Kyuukyuu Sentai GoGoV episode, "The Year's First Dream is a Psyma Melody". He creates dream worlds for the victims, and with his illusion powers, he can trigger their biggest nightmares when their guards are down.
  • Hell Is That Noise: Still has the distorted, demonic wailing of spirits whenever he roars.
  • Wolverine Claws: Has those, and they're not just for show. He can use powerful slashes at enemies with them.

Circe

The Monster of the Chapter in Chapter 5. She would have any citizen or Ranger be lured to her island, where she would give them hospitality...and then turn them into animals, obeying her every whim.

Benjamin and Raymond Fineass

The Monsters of the Chapter in Chapter 8. Created by Neo-Vypra, the two brothers run a nightclub where they would hypnotize the crowd and the dancers. They manage to kidnap several women and a band in order to run their show. However, they're later found out by the All-Stars, and after breaking the spell, they were defeated.

  • Fat and Skinny: Raymond is quite hefty in his human form, compared to the very slim Benjamin.
  • No Celebrities Were Harmed: Benjamin is said in-story to physically resemble Adam Levine of Maroon 5; in addition, their names are taken from the Fine Bros.

     The Akuma

Tropes Applying to Them as a Whole

  • Was Once a Man: All the akuma are implied to be former Rangers, with one of them being confirmed. In IV, there were flashbacks to how the Replacement Rangers killed at least one Ranger, using his soul and despair to become the monster Walpurgis.

Caterina, the Flame Monster

  • Playing with Fire: Her main element, as she is able to summon Fire Familiars and unleash the Flamethrower Breath, fireballs, and a blue flame attack.

Gallovisione, the Electric Bug Monster

  • Adaptation Species Change: From a cricket with massive pincers to a grasshopper/praying mantis hybrid with sharp scythes in IV RELOADED.
  • Killed Offscreen: In comparison to IV where it was the Monster of the Chapter in Chapter 20, Chapter 3 of IV RELOADED sees it killed off offscreen by Gerald Rivia and Jennifer Fleight.

Umikaisei/Umicheval, the Sea Horse Monster

Ogienwiik, the Fire Wolf Monster

  • Named by the Adaptation: In the original version of IV, the monster did not have a name despite being the last monster Arika faced. IV RELOADED gave it the name "Ogienwilk".

Walpurgis, the Ultimate Dimension Monster

The penultimate monster Keith fought in Super Sentai vs. Power Rangers IV. Its powers were reshaping the battlefield to make it resemble various video games in order to confuse the victim. It nearly defeated Keith until he unleashed the Thousand Arrows attack, killing it.
