The units in the board game Stratego listed by rank:
1. Spy
- Dastardly Whiplash: The usual version of the unit.
- Femme Fatale: One version of the unit.
- Weak, but Skilled: The Spy is very weak, but is the only piece (other than bombs) that can kill the enemy Marshall.
2. Scout
- Cover-Blowing Superpower: Scouts can move more than one space per turn, but doing so instantly reveals what they are to the enemy.
- Fragile Speedster: The only unit who can move more than one square per turn, but all the units it could run into would kill it (with the exception of the Spy).
3. Miner/Sapper
- Mr. Fixit: The only unit that can defuse the bomb.
- Weak, but Skilled: The Miner is a weak piece, but is the only piece that can destroy bombs without sacrificing himself.
4. Sergeant
5. Lieutenant
6. Captain
7. Major
8. Colonel
9. General
10. Marshall
- Rank Scales with Asskicking: Both the highest-ranking piece and the strongest.
- Weaksauce Weakness: He can be defeated by the Spy, otherwise the weakest unit in the game.
B. Bomb
- Mighty Glacier: The only unit (other than the flag) that can't move, but all units that encounter it will die (other than the Miner).
F. Flag
- We Cannot Go On Without You: Once the flag is captured, the game is over.
