The Fourth and current Tsuchikage.
- Adaptational Badass: Unlike her canonical counterpart, she knows to use both the Light Boulder Jutsu (which allows her to fly) as well as Dust Release.
- A Child Shall Lead Them: She's only 18 by the time of her inauguration, making her the youngest Kage in the story (since Gaara doesn't replace his father during the Time Skip).
- Clashing Cousins: She can not stand her cousin Mei and views her as the daughter of a traitor. Mei's personality doesn't do any favors in smoothing things over either.
- Related in the Adaptation: She and Mei Terumi are maternal second cousins.

Leader of the Kamizuru Clan.
- Adaptational Late Appearance: Was introduced in the Part I filler in the anime. Here, she doesn't show up until the Kage Summit as one of Kurotsuchi's bodyguards.
- Bee Afraid
- Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: During the Fourth Ninja War, she fights alongside Shino Aburame. Despite being allies, she makes no effort to hide her dislike of him due to being of rival clans, even after he saved her from an attack.

The Third and former Tsuchikage
- Berserk Button: The very mention of Deidara sends him into a rage, to the point that he orders all available forces to attack him at once when he's reported approaching the Ninja Alliance HQ.
- Mission Control: Unlike canon, he mostly takes an advisory role during the war.
- Old Soldier: He has one of the longest records as both a combatant and a leader among the cast, and had only just retired from being Tsuchikage when he first shows up in the story. It's for this reason that he's appointed Acting Supreme Commander of the Allied Shinobi forces when Jiraiya has to go face Orochimaru.
- You Are in Command Now: As the most qualified person present, Jiraiya appoints him as the temporary Supreme Commander of the Allied Shinobi forces while he and Tsunade go to take out Orochimaru.
