Alex

Played by: Felix Herngren

A dentist and a shy Nice Guy. He may be a little bit too nice though, as he has it hard to decline people.

• Everyone Has Standards: An odd example. Felix is a nice guy, but there are occations where he has a line to just how nice he can be.
• Nice Guy: Arguably his main characteristic. He is a little bit too nice though, as his tendency to have a fear of conflicts.

Anna

Played by: Mia Skäringer

An actress and Alex's wife.

• Jerk with a Heart of Gold: At times, she can be a little rude and self-righteous, but she is by no means unlikable as she has many moments of careness.

Fredrik

Played by: Johan Rheborg

A wealthy stockbroker and a childhood friend of Alex. He almost always spoils his wife and kids, and he thinks that he is wiser than he really is.

• Everyone Has Standards: While he spends money continuously, he made it clear to his wife in one episode that he wouldn't spend 50 000 SEK on a trip just to make her friend jealous.
• The Smart Guy: Deconstructed. He is indeed wise and is a successfull stockbroker, but he likes to think that he is smarter than he really is. When Alex has some kind of problem, Fredrik usually likes to give him some advise. But it instead tends to create new problems and doesn’t really stabilize Alex's situations.

Mickan

Played by: Josephine Bornebusch

Fredrik's beautiful and spoiled wife and an adult Alpha Bitch who thinks her social status and image among her friends is very important.

• Alpha Bitch: An adult example. Mickan is (supposedly) wealthy and cares very much about her social status and many times tries too hard to improve it.
• Gold Digger: Has been called out for being one several times. Zig-Zagged because she does indeed care about Fredrik, but has stated that she married him for the financial security.
• It's All About Me: Has this attitude as she cares a little too much about her social status and wants to improve her image as well.
• Rich Bitch: Though, the money usually comes from her husband. She spends it on clothes, trips and such.

Ove

Played by: Henrik Dorsin

Alex and Fredrik's annoying choldhood friend who tries too hard to be funny but it just comes off as uncomfortable. He is also very greedy and selfish.

• Asshole Victim: Whenever something bad happens to Ove, it's likely well-deserved.
• Jerkass: Ove is a very self-righteous, annoying cheapskate.
• The Friend Nobody Likes: His primary trait, though he never realizes it himself.
• Manchild: In spades. Ove really doesn’t seem to have grown up at all since childhood.
• The Scrappy: In-Universe. Everyone finds Ove and his wife unbelievably annoying.

Göran

Fredrik's cousin's mentally ill husband.

• Asshole Victim: He was such an annoying and unlikable Jerkass that Fredrik doesn’t feel regret for literally driving him unconscious, nor does he bother to visit him in the hospital.
• Disability as an Excuse for Jerkassery: Lampshaded by Fredrik. Given that Göran is mentally ill, nobody really dares to confront him when he behaves like a jerk. And they completely spoils him by celebrating every single swedish tradition at once.
• Hoist by His Own Petard: He demands Fredrik to dress up as Santa (in the middle of October!) and when Fredrik reluctantly do so decides to take Göran on a boat trip and drive fast enough to make Göran pass out unconscious.
• Jerkass: Because of his illness, he is completely self-centered, lazy and childish and has a penchant for humiliating others.
• Manchild: Extremely so. The whole episode is the Schillers celebrating all swedish traditions at once just because Göran demands it, and they don't dare to make him disappointed.
