Nalaya Curtis
- Desperately Looking for a Purpose in Life: Nalaya wants to help others and make the world a better place. Apparently she wanted to be a social worker but was talked out of it because of her mental illness and neurodivergency.
- Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Has blonde hair and is a good girl, despite her lack of confidence.
- The Ingenue: Nalaya is soft-spoken, innocent, and idealistic.
- Naïve Everygirl: Downplayed. She's aware that the world can be less than kind, and that she often falls short of her ideals.
- Older Than They Look: Naturally, being 5'0" and with childish features.Ismat: Nalaya's like twelve.Nalaya: I'm six months older than you!
Yuzu Aoyama
- Action Girl: Yuzu is a magical girl who comes to the rescue of Nalaya by somersaulting off a high building and shooting an arrow into the nightmare. She also hikes and white water rafts in her spare time.
- Big Sister Mentor: Offers to be one for Nalaya (and the rest of the dorm, but Lucie and Ismat don't seem to take her seriously).
- Boyish Short Hair: Befitting her active tomboyish nature.
- Cool Big Sis: Yuzu is older, mature, and very organized, even the floor's resident advisor. Played with as she's mostly this to Nalaya.
- Magical Girl: She's been one of the warrior kind for two years.
Lucero "Lucie" Jaime
- Cool Big Sis: To Nalaya; she tells her fortune, introduces her at the floor meeting, and seems to enjoy cooking for her.
- The Gadfly: She enjoys pranking and flustering people, if her interactions with Yuzu and Nalaya are anything to go by.
Ismat Badawi
Peyton Raleigh
- Aloof Dark-Haired Girl: While not a girl, Peyton is stoic, quiet, and feminine with long dark hair.
- Elegant Gothic Lolita: How they normally dress. Their cast profile implies they might sew their own clothes as well.
Ophelia Amorette
- Byronic Heroine: Invoked. We haven't actually seen enough of her yet to judge whether it's true, though.
