The head of the Algus Knights' horseback division.
- Weak, but Skilled: His specialty is not power, but rather his sword technique.
- Headbutting Heroes: With Double Zeta and Nu throughout most of the third OVA.
Warrior Double Zeta
- Voiced by: Kiyoyuki Yanada
The head of the Algus Knights' warrior division.
- The Big Guy: Power is what he brings to the table.
- Headbutting Heroes: With Zeta and Nu throughout most of the third OVA.
Wizard Nu
- Voiced by: Akifumi Endoh
The head of the Algus Knights' magic division.
- Foil: Ironically, to Amuro. Nu is a crippling egoist who thinks little of the other divisions, while Amuro is the same humble person from the Universal Century.
- Irony: He pushes Amuro, his UC counterpart's pilot, over the edge and is also the one to be his Foil.
- It's All About Me: Acts like Zeta and Double Zeta are complete idiots without Knight Alex in charge even though he's the worst offender of the ongoing dissension and implicitly starts a fight just to feed his ego.
- Headbutting Heroes: With Zeta and Double Zeta throughout most of the third OVA.
Knight Alex

The overall leader of the Algus Knights.
- Cool Sword: The "Zeon Slayer."
Satan Gundam/Neo Black Dragon
- Voiced by: Yasunori Matsumoto
A black, devilish figure who strongly resembles Knight Gundam.
- Big Bad: Of the first OVA.
- Dark Is Evil: At the very least, until he recombines with Knight Gundam.
- Evil Counterpart: To Knight Gundam. Might also count as an Evil Twin.
- Might Makes Right: Believes that only power is what matters in the world.
Siegzeon
- Voiced by: Masaru Ikeda
The "emperor of darkness" and the true ruler of the Zeon clan.
- Dark Is Evil: Yep, the true Big Bad is the emperor of darkness.
- Greater-Scope Villain: Is the overall villain of the SD Gundam Gaiden series, but doesn't really show up until the final episode of the OVA.
