Demons:

     Sheitoom

The Demon Lord
  • A Child Shall Lead Them: Still a child when her mother, the previous Demon Lord, died of illness.
  • Childhood Friend Romance: She and Tsyon are clearly in love with each other. The only reason they aren't together is because Sheitoom refuses to indulge in romance before the war with Origin is over.
  • Et Tu, Brute?: She's shocked when Dhiza reveals himself as a traitor in Episode 07 of the Web Novel, shortly before assimilating her.
  • Everyone Can See It: Her feelings for Tsyon. Both Neigass and Dhiza believe they should get together already, and frequently tease them for it.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Subverted. She is the Demon Lord and has red eyes, but she is a sweet girl who only wants to bring peace to her people.
  • She Is the King: She's female and the current Demon Lord.
  • Thou Shall Not Kill: Justified. She knows that if she retaliates to the frequent human invasions, or repels the hero party too strongly, then the human nations, neck deep in "demons are inherently evil" propaganda, will retaliate with even greater force, possibly launching a third great war, completely refusing to acknowledge the humans lost the last time.
  • Young and in Charge: She's had the throne for less than 8 years and was a small child when she inherited the throne.

     Tsyon

The Demon Chief the hero party is currently trying to surpass on the quest to subjugate the Demon Lord.
  • Blood Knight: He loves fighting, to the point that the party growing weaker due to Cyrill's Heroic BSoD makes him angrier, as he can't properly enjoy the fight this way.
  • Boisterous Bruiser: Very loud and hammy when he fights.
  • Childhood Friend Romance: With Sheitoom. Their other childhood friends won't let they forget that they can see it.
  • Everyone Can See It: So bad everyone already treat him and Sheitoom as an Official Couple even if they both refuse to confess.
  • Hot-Blooded: Fitting for someone who specializes in fire magic. He is a Blood Knight that gives everything he has in fights, wants his enemies to do the same, and can easily forget his orders when angry.
  • One-Man Army: The Heroes Party is composed of some of the strongest people in the kingdom, and he can take them all on his own. Cyrill losing some of her powers due to her emotions becoming a mess without Flum's support turns the conflict into a Curb-Stomp Battle in his favor, even though it's still five against one.
  • Playing with Fire: Specializes in fire-based magic.
  • Red Baron: "The will-o'-the-wisp". This title comes from his rare affinity that allows him to use both fire and darkness magic.
  • Thou Shall Not Kill: Under orders from the Demon Lord to not kill the attacking hero party, or any humans.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: He and Dhiza bicker just for the sake of bickering all the time, but they do truly care about each other's well-being and want to make each other happy.
  • Winged Humanoid: He has wings that allow him to fly.

     Neigass

Oh dear heroes, we just want to talk. Oh, that's still not possible, isn't it?
One of the top three Demon Chiefs.
  • Armor-Piercing Question: She gives two of these to Sara in quick succession after she saves Flum and Milkit from a Spiral Ogre in Episode 02.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Shows up in the nick of time to save Sara, twice.
  • Blow You Away: Specializes in wind-based magic.
  • Cuteness Proximity: She goes absolutely gaga over the 10-year-old Sara.
  • Dope Slap: How she stops Tsyon from killing everyone in the Hero's party, which would be against the orders of the Demon Lord.
  • Everyone Has Standards: She did not approve of Jean selling Flum into slavery. She's also disgusted by how the Church of Origin was willing to betray and kill Sara before she saved her.
  • Friendly Enemy: While she is technically Flum's enemy, they have a rather amiable conversation during Episode 02.
  • The Gadfly: Loves to tease people just to get a reaction.
  • Navel-Deep Neckline: Besides exposing her cleavage, her outfit also bares her midriff for everyone to see.
  • Odd Friendship: She forms one with Sara at the beginning of Volume 03/Episode 04. Odd being how Negiass is a Demon, and Sara is a human who used to work with the Church of Origin, and she was taught to hate Demons.
  • Stripperific: Her outfit doesn't leave much to the imagination.
  • Winged Humanoid: She has large wings on her back that allow her to fly.

     Dhiza
The last of the three Demon Chiefs.
  • Assimilation Backfire: He first assimilates Sheitoom, and that goes swimmingly. He later tries to assimilate Tsyon, and while that initially works, when he tries to go up against Neigass, she manages to cut his hand. At that point Tsyon emerges and drags Sheitoom out. The shock leaves him vulnerable to Flum's strike, ripping out his Origin core and killing him, then making his soul pop like an overinflated balloon.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: He genuinely believes he's the best friend of Tsyon, Sheitoom, and Naigass, but he's a traitor who murdered the previous Demon Lord, loosened the seal on Origin, used his disciples to raid human villages on behalf of the human church of Origin, and happily conspired to free Origin completely.
  • Black-and-White Insanity: His only moral compass is that Demons should rule humans, and Origin should rule Demons. "Weak trash like humans keeping Origin captive is wrong." Anything that aligns with that is a good thing, and anything that opposes it must be crushed, regardless of who it is, even the people he supposedly loves.
  • Curiosity Is a Crapshoot: It was out of idle curiosity that he weakened the seal on Origin, and once he was afflicted by the latter, actively conspired to break the seal entirely.
  • Deader than Dead: When Flum, wearing the armor belonging to Ritus, she kills his body, but his disembodied spirit wanders off to the afterlife, planning to reincarnate and start over, then Ritus herself catches up to him. She holds him still so Flum can use her [Inverse] attribute to make his soul pop like a balloon, putting an end to his evil machinations, permanently.
  • The Farmer and the Viper: The former Demon Lord, Sheitoom's mother, took him in as an orphan and raised him kindly. While he does indeed feel gratitude towards her and admired her a great deal, he "thanks" her for it by loosening the seal on Origin, kills her by making it look like she died of illness, and conspired with the human Church of Origin to send the reputation of Demons into the gutter, hoping to ultimately free Origin completely.
  • Greater-Scope Villain: The church propaganda, the destruction of Maria's and Sara's villages, the Origin core research, [Chimera], [Necromancy], and [Children], not to mention the weakening of Origin's seal? All his fault.
  • Half-Human Hybrid: Half-human. Half-demon.
  • Make It Look Like an Accident: He made it look like Sheitoom's mother died of illnes when Sheitoom was young, hoping to manipulate her. He has a grudge against Tsyon for keeping the last part from happening, unknowingly.
  • Might Makes Right: He has always believed that the strong should be in charge. The biggest reason he want to break the seal on Origin is because he thinks sealing away a being that powerful is "wrong."
  • Nothing Personal: He bears no grudge towards other Demons, but that still doesn't stop him from betraying them all to human-supremacist propaganda that he wrote and unleashing Origin on the world to kill/assimilate everybody.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: When first introduced he and Tsyon bicker just for the sake of bickering but are good friends. Even so, Dhiza has no compulsion about killing Tsyon when he's in the way.
  • Walking Spoiler: Care should be taken discussing this character to avoid spoiling the Wham Line of Episode 7.
