Celestial Empire

    Units 

  • Discard and Draw: When first built, all Celestial production buildings have a defensive turret, which can be activated in an emergency, but will be lost if they're upgraded, which is needed to produce tier 3 and 4 units (except the Barracks).
  • Drop Pod: Celestial infantry can be deployed from orbit via drop pods with the Alekhine's Gun protocol.
  • Friendly Fireproof: Celestial Blessing only harms enemies within its area of effect, while overcharging Celestial units.
  • Kill Sat: The Celestial Empire's satellites are used as weapons by two secret protocols (Solar Foehn and Celestial Blessing) and the Altar of Solar Scorch superweapon.
  • Lightning Gun: Celestial Blessing calls on lightning fired from a satellite in orbit to overcharge friendly units and electrocute enemies.
  • Powered Armor: Most Celestial infantry wear powered armour which makes them tougher but more expensive than rival factions.

Skyeye Sentry


  • Defog of War: Being a scout unit, the Skyeye has a very large sight range.
  • The Paralyzer: The Skyeye's microwave emitter can slow down and eventually immobilise enemy units.
  • True Sight: Serving as the Celestial scout, the Skyeye can see invisible enemies and snuff out disguised ones.

Blaze Trooper


  • Grenade Launcher: The Blaze Trooper's special ability activates a multi-purpose grenade launcher that can clear enemy light infantry and garrisoned buildings, but has limited ammunition.
  • Magnetic Weapons: The Blaze Trooper's standard weapon is a coilgun.

Iron Guard


  • Dual Mode Unit: The Iron Guard can dig in, considerably increasing durability and allowing it to slow vehicles down, but preventing it from moving until it packs up.

Military Engineer


  • Cast from Money: The Military Engineer needs to spend $500
  • Drone Deployer: The Military Engineer can deploy a small robot to repair friendly vehicles. This robot is very fragile and must be kept away from anti-air.

Misty Assassin


  • Sniper Rifle: The Misty Assassin is armed with a sniper rifle to pick off infantry from afar.

Swiftsure Thunderer


  • EMP: The Swiftsure Thunderer's special ability fires a lightning ball which disables enemy vehicles.
  • Gatling Good: The Swiftsure Thunderer uses a rapid-fire rotary cannon against large masses of infantry and aircraft.

Maglev Miner


  • Worker Unit: The Maglev Miner collects ore and can deploy into a Guiding Centre, which can send out construction cores and, when upgraded to a Quantum Construction Hub, construct buildings independently.

Waverider IFV


Magbow SPAD


  • Amphibious Automobile: The Magbow can be built from both the War Factory and Dockyard and can move on both water and land.
  • Anti-Air: The Magbow is the Celestial Empire's tier 1 anti-air unit.
  • Dual Mode Unit: The Magbow's railgun can switch between rapid-fire anti-air mode and heavy anti-tank mode, the latter of which also consumes power.
  • Magnetic Weapons: The Magbow uses a railgun to shoot down aircraft.

Qilin Tank


  • Deflector Shields: When Sidereal Deflection is active, the Qilin activates a magnetic field that deflects certain weapons.
  • Dual Mode Unit: Activating Sidereal Deflection drains energy from the Qilin's MBT and uses it to power a magnetic field.
  • Magnetic Weapons: The Piercing Thunderbolt protocol equips the Qilin with a railgun.

Qingfeng ATGM Launcher


  • Smoke Out: The Qingfeng can launch a smoke missile to reduce the sight and attack range of units within it.

Zhurong Assault Tank


  • Gathering Steam: With each successive shot, the Zhurong's attack speed and range increase while its movement speed decreases.

Baihu Quantum Artillery


  • Plasma Cannon: The Baihu bombards enemy buildings with a heavy plasma cannon.
  • Siege Engines: The Baihu outranges static defensive structures and are good against buildings.

Armybreaker Mecha


  • Close-Range Combatant: The Armybreaker is armed with a sword instead of guns, and can only attack enemies next to it.
  • Humongous Mecha: The Armybreaker is a massive walker towering over standard vehicles.
  • Plasma Cannon: When Celestial Embodiment is active, the Armybreaker can unleash plasma waves from the tip of its sword.

Wupeng Sub Chaser


  • True Sight: The Wupeng can deploy a Lotus Beacon, which emits sonar to detect enemy submarines.

Jimeng Destroyer


  • Loud of War: The Jimeng can fire an acoustic wave to slow down enemies.
  • Power Nullifier: Targets hit by a Jimeng's acoustic wave is temporarily unable to use their special ability.

Xuanming Battlecruiser


  • Magnetic Weapons: The Piercing Thunderbolt protocol equips the Xuanming with a railgun.

Xuanwu SSNF


  • Siege Engines: The Xuanwu can attack from a ridiculous range and is effective against buildings.
  • Stealthy Colossus: Being a tier 4 heavy bombardment ship, the Xuanwu is one of the largest units in the game, but differs from the other factions' equivalents by being a submarine.
  • You Nuke 'Em: The Xuanwu's special ability fires a tactical fission warhead.

Fenghuang Fighter


  • Anti-Air: The Fenghuang is the Celestial Empire's standard air superiority fighter.

Zhuque Attack Aircraft


Bifang Support Copter


  • Damage-Increasing Debuff: The Bifang's laser softens armour, allowing friendly units to deal more damage to the target.
  • Dual Mode Unit: The Bifang can switch between shooting lasers at enemies and empowering nearby friendly ground units.
  • Mook Commander: In Flying Transmitter mode, the Bifang provides energy for units below, increasing their attack speed.
  • Ray Gun: The Bifang attacks with a laser cannon.

Chongming Interceptor


  • Anti-Air: The Chongming serves as the Celestial Empire's answer to heavy air units.

Jinwu Bomber


  • Ray Gun: In addition to bombs, the Jinwu comes with lasers to defend itself against enemy fighters.

Alkaid Suborbital Defense System


  • Dual Mode Unit: In its default mode, the Alkaid flies in the troposphere and can reload its weapon. When deployed, it rises to the ionosphere, out of reach for most enemy AA (except interceptor aircraft), and consumes base power to fire its cannon.
  • Kill Sat: The Alkaid Sub-Orbital Defence System is can transform into a sub-orbital satellite, drawing power from the base to activate its long-range energy cannon.
  • Ray Gun: The Alkaid gathers energy and projects it as a massive beam.

Qinglong Core Ship


  • Arbitrary Headcount Limit: Being an epic unit, only one Qinglong could be built per player.
  • Tactical Superweapon Unit: The Qinglong is much bigger than and costs twice as much as a standard MCV and is limited to one per player, since it pulls double duty as the Celestial Empire's epic unit. While every player begins the game with a Qinglong, it starts off unarmed and can only be outfitted with various weapons starting from tier 3.
  • Worker Unit: The Qinglong is the Celestial Empire's MCV and serves to build other structures.

Other Factions

    New Allied Units 

Prism Tank


  • Anti-Air: In anti-missile mode, the Prism Tank can attack air units.
  • Dual Mode Unit: The Prism Tank can switch between anti-ground and anti-air modes.
  • Ray Gun:
  • Reflecting Laser: The beams fired by Prism Tanks can refract off the primary target onto others.

Ares Interceptor


  • Anti-Air: The Ares Interceptor is a fighter jet that specialises in shooting down heavy air units.

Poseidon Cruiser


  • Locked Out of the Fight: The Poseidon's special ability fires a missile that locks a unit inside a chrono rift, rendering it invulnerable and unable to act.

    New Soviet Units 

Rhino Tank


  • Trap Master: The Rhino's special ability remotely launches six land mines.

Sledgehammer SPG


  • Long-Range Fighter: The Sledgehammer is an artillery piece with a noticeable minimum range.
  • Siege Engines: The Sledgehammer is a long-ranged howitzer effective against buildings.

Union Heavy Tank


  • Awesome Personnel Carrier: The Union is a superheavy tank that also comes with a bunker for up to five infantry to ride in.
  • Lightning Gun: The Union's main armament is a heavy Tesla cannon.

Slava Missile Cruiser


  • Dual Mode Unit: The Slava's missile batteries can switch between continuous fire (maintaining a consistent rate of fire) and saturation fire (fire all batteries in quick succession followed by a very long reload time).
  • Macross Missile Massacre: The Slava is armed with 16 missile batteries.

Sukhoi Interceptor


  • Anti-Air: The Ares Interceptor is a fighter jet that excels against heavy air units.

Ilyushin Attack Aircraft


  • Macross Missile Massacre: The Ilyushin has a large compartment of rockets and attacks by firing them in quick succession on a line.

    New Empire Units 

Shinshin Mecha


  • Anti-Air: In airplane mode, the Shinshin serves as the Empire's anti-heavy aircraft specialist.
  • Dual Mode Unit: When on the ground, the Shinshin bombards ground enemies at long range with salvos of rockets. When airborne, it uses these rockets against enemy aircraft, especially heavy ones.
  • Transforming Mecha: The Shinshin can transform between an anti-ground two-legged mecha and an anti-air jet plane.

King Oni X


  • Eye Beams: The King Oni X's main weapon is a pair of beams fired from its eyes.
  • Humongous Mecha: The King Oni X is a bigger version of the King Oni.
  • Law of Chromatic Superiority: The King Oni X is a more powerful version of the King Oni with red paint.
  • Life Drain: The King Oni X's special ability drains HP from an enemy to heal itself.

Sakura Kaiten Torpedo


  • Dual Mode Unit: The Sakura can switch
  • Molotov Truck: The Sakura is a submarine filled with explosives designed to blow itself up in the face of the enemy.

Tachi Heavy Cruiser


  • Deflector Shields: The Tachi can project a barrier to block missiles or large projectiles from the sides.
