The Pets (in general)
The Louds' and their friends' pets.
- Animal Talk: Hops and Lalo explain that all of the pets can understand and talk to each other, including Sergio. Earlier, Geo and Walt reveal that the pets can also understand human speech, especially Lily and Carlitos's.
- Commonality Connection: Lana's pets coped with their jealousy of Watterson by hanging out in the twins' room or roaming around the house. Izzy even called it "a support system for each other."
- Double Standard: Geo voices how the Louds' pets felt when Watterson got all the Louds' attention, and yet this problem didn't happen every other time the Louds brought new pets in the house.
- Even the Dog Is Ashamed: Sergio, Lalo, Cleopawtra, Nepurrtiti, and Froggy II are all enraged over the Louds' actions in "No Such Luck".
- Green-Eyed Monster: All of the Louds' pets, not just Charles, Cliff, Walt, and Geo, were jealous of the attention Watterson got, as Hops admits. El Diablo later admits that they'd've also agreed to send Watterson away.
- Not Me This Time: The title card for "Pets Peeved" made everyone (except Lincoln) think that Charles, Cliff, Geo, and Walt were chasing Lincoln.Sid: Did any of you even apologize to Lincoln for the NSL fiasco?
- Talking Animal: Justified, as Joe cast a spell that allowed the pets to talk for a short period of time.

Lucy's pet bat.- Incredible Shrinking Man: The reason why he looks smaller than normal in "Spell it Out" is because he got caught in the blast radius of a shrinking potion Lisa made. The effects wore off after a few days.
El Diablo

Lana's pet snake.- Snakes Are Sinister: Implied, because while he also wanted to send Watterson away, (at least) he wanted to send the dog "not to a place like the Green Sssssanctuary.” Also downplayed as he and the others would also feel guilt.
- Sssssnake Talk: When he's able to talk, he talks like this.
Sergio
"Voiced" by: Carlos Alazraqui
The Casagrandes' pet macaw.- Character Catchphrase: "Busted!", or some variant thereof.
- Everyone Has Standards: He's definitely a prick, but he has a lot of moments where he chides one of the reactors for doing something wrong.
- Translator Buddy: He's the only one of the pets who can speak English (and Spanish) naturally, so he translates the others' thoughts for the humans.
Lalo

The Santiago Family's pet dog.- Bitch Slap: He smacks Sergio upside the head for snickering at the Louds' pets attacking Lori in "Selfie Improvement", shutting Sergio up.
