Wyatt Arthur Tiberius Thompson Saurus
The leader of the Anomaly hunting team.- The Ace: He's a successful businessman, well educated, and a former member of the United States Special Forces. His eldest son takes after him in this regard.
- Happily Married: IS this with Ai - he trusts her fully, and even let her in on the Anomalies.
- The Leader: Acts as this for the Anomaly hunting team. Madeline gave him the role despite the fact she is a member of The CIA because she knows that he can be counted on.
- Seen It All: Downplayed, but he doesn't get too surprised by all of the prehistoric creatures he encounters. Justified because he has been studying them for years prior to the start of the story - he's likely already dealt with his fair share of creatures and just gotten used to them. "Horned Hunter" reveals that he is also Tiberius Saurus from Prehistoric Park: Returned from Extinction, so it can be assumed that he has also gone to the past to study prehistoric lifeforms in their natural habitats.

Madeline
A member of the FBI, and the second in command of the team.- Contrasting Sequel Main Character: Well, Fanfic, but she's one to Lester from the original show and Leeds from New World. She's more affable then Lester, but also tends to come off as more professional and respected than Leeds. Additionally, unlike both, she is an active member of the team and, as a result, has the total respect of her compatriots, while also managing to avoid butting heads with them.
- FBI Agent: Is one. She also used to work with the CIA.
- The Lancer: Willingly settles into this role with Wyatt, as she knows that she is out of her depth.
- Number Two: To Wyatt. Interestingly enough, she willy chose this role despite the fact that she technically outranks him, as she admits that she is unfamiliar territory and can trust Wyatt to do what must be done.
- Offscreen Moment of Awesome: Five years prior to the story, she visited the Zone of Alienation and got at least one souveneir.
