- Badass Fingersnap: When it uses it's Super, it snaps their fingers to summon a bunch of Scraggys to deliver a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown on the opponent.
- Combat Pragmatist: Scrafty has smuggled in a bunch of illegal items to use in battle as well as it's gang of Scraggys.
- Difficult, but Awesome: Scrafty's playstyle is complex, but very effective on what it can do.
- Extendo Boxing Glove: The Lucku Punch has a spring which allows it to extend for a long reach.
- Grievous Harm with a Body: Scraggy Swing has it throw one of it's Scraggys at the opponent.
- Heal Thyself: When Scrafty eats Leftovers, it gets a bit of health back.
- Improbable Weapon User: Air Balloon, Lucky Punch, Poison Barb, Eject Button, Iron Ball, Light Ball, Flame Orb, and a Scraggy.
- Mechanically Unusual Fighter: Contraband has it pull out an item from it's sack.
- No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: It's Super, Beat Up has it summon it's gang of Scraggys to attack the target.
- Poisonous Person: While not a Poison type, it's grab can inflict poison if it ate Leftovers. It also has a Poison Barb.
- Shock and Awe: The Light Ball strikes lightning downward three times.
- Stuff Blowing Up: The Flame Orb explodes after a period of time.
- Use Your Head: A number of their moves has it headbutt the opponent.

- Counter-Attack: One of it's actions has it counter the plaer's attack.
- Training Dummy: It's role in Training Mode is this. Though it can fight back if you enable certain actions.

- Secret Boss: To challenge Gorochu, you have to win in The Path without getting a game over.
- Shock and Awe: It can use a lightingbolt that goes across the screen.
