The Main Cast
Patrik Dokiychuk
- Arranged Marriage: He vaguely talks about being asexual to Lara. Mentions he would have been a spinster if he wasn't arranged to marry.
- Beware of the Nice Ones: Patrik's a very good friend and generally easygoing, but do not get on his bad side. He's still a vampire, after all.
- Dark and Troubled Past: He's not happy about some of the death he's caused during his more nefarious years after he was turned and still has nightmares about it. He wants to change for the better but has a lot of skeletons in his closet.
- Friendly Neighborhood Vampire: He gets along just fine with humans.
- Nightmare Face: He pulls a couple throughout the the comic. Some are accidental, some are really not.
- Papa Wolf: To Becky. Do not ever hurt Becky.
- Puppy-Dog Eyes: Oh my god, yes; his reaction to Lara starting to tolerate his presence is a highlight
. - Really 700 Years Old: Presently he's 749 years old.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: A given, since he's a vampire, although he retains his blue eyes. They're red whenever he's angry or blood-deprived.
Becky Stevens
- Genki Girl: She's generally a happy, positive person. However, she does sometimes hide negative emotions behind a cheerful facade.
Lara Richardson
- Properly Paranoid: However willing her grandmother is to see past it, Lara isn't exactly wrong to be suspicious of a vampire.
Rose Richardson
- Cool Old Lady: She is unfazed by Patrik being a vampire and just happy to have someone to talk to. She's also a much better familial figure to Lara than her own parents.
Brian Bandonato
- Jerkass: He emotionally abuses Becky until she breaks up with him (and Patrik turns him into a vampire).
- Parental Abandonment: His parents kicked him out when he turned 18 and he's struggled to get by until Patrik sets him up in his basement.
Xavier "Smith"
- Cool Old Guy: A very well-adjusted vampire who Patrik sometimes relies on for advice.
