Kochin
Voiced by: Misato Fukuen
A weasel given human form in order to assist your cursed clan. She provides advice on what to do and occasionally helps in battle.
Tropes:
- Action Girl: She helps in combat, but she doesn't scale in power, accuracy or competence as the game progresses.
- Action Pet: She can assist you in battle.
- Attack Animal: In her weasel form anyway. Her attacks later on don't scale so don't expect her to land you the killing blow.
- Little Bit Beastly: Her human form is almost exactly on point besides the ears and a tail.
- Major Injury Underreaction: Can be hit directly in the side of the head with an arrow and will only rub her head with mild annoyance. She straight up says that it would kill a normal human so she clearly has some supernatural endurance.
- Palette Swap: When alternating between summer and winter months, Kochin's hair changes. During the summer her hair and tail are brown, and blue/white in the winter.
- Support Party Member: Relies on spells and buff later on in order to help your party.
- Team Pet: No matter who dies she is always a clan constant.
- Taking the Bullet: Will do this to protect the clan leader when they are low on health.
- Uplifted Animal: To help your clan, Kitsuto gave a regular weasel sentience after she was being chased by a boy and his dog.
- Weasel Mascot: She is a weasel and is an important figure in the game.
Nueko
Voiced by: Megumi Hayashibara
The goddess who gave her life to resurrect your clan. She is able to heal herself and joins your clan. She seems to have some connection to Seimei, but she can't remember what it is.

Kitsuto
Voiced by: Minami Takayama
The second in command to Hiruko, his older sister and main ruler of the gods. He helped resurrect your clan and gave Kochin her human form to assist you.

- Adaptional Heroism: Kitsuto was secretly the main antagonist in the first game. Here he's entirely on the up and up.
Abe No Seimei
Voiced by: Daisuke Hirakawa
The sorcerer who convinced the emperor to execute your clan and placed the two curses upon you. He seems to know Nueko, but she can't remember him and he won't say anything.

The weird puppet-like demon that hangs out with Seimei. Whether he has a consciousness of his own or Seimei is just using ventriloquism is unclear.

Princess Tazu

The emperor's granddaughter. She cooperates with your clan by giving you resources in order to take down Seimei.

Rikimaru
Voiced by: Hiroshi Shirokuma
Princess Tazu's bodyguard. He distrusts your clan and is jealous of your ability to become much stronger in a short amount of time. He has a huge crush on Princess Tazu.

- Bodyguard Crush: Clearly has this bad, as his strength grows at a normal rate, while your clan's power increases at an astonishing rate.
Hiruko
Voiced by: Konami Yoshida
The ruler of the gods and Kitsuto's older sister. She wants your clan to succeed and helps you out. However, there are many gods that are against her or believe that she is plotting something.
Tropes:
- Demoted to Extra: While still a important character (and the Most Expensive and Best Goddess to make a child with) she served the same role as Kochin did in the original.
- Top God: The ruler of all the heavens, and the deity that costs the most devotion, for the Rite of Union. This doesn't however, mean that the other gods won't do what they want, and impede the clan's progress.
