    Pappaya Brothers

  • Coattail-Riding Relative: In the English dub by 4Kids, the Pappaya Brothers were made into Hazuki's uncle and his friend, hoping to get on Hazuki's mother's good side so they could use some of her wealth to fund their comedy act. In the original version, they had no relation to Hazuki and her family, and just wanted to kidnap Hazuki to use the ransom money for their comedy act.
  • No Name Given: Neither of the two are given any true names.
  • One-Shot Character: Both of them only appear in one episode in the early first season. Neither are seen or heard from since.
  • Only Known by Their Nickname: Japanese kinship terms were used in place of their real names. The older man is named "Aniki"note  while the younger is named "Otouto" note , signifying for which brother is which. Averted in the 4Kids dub, where they're known as Mick and Jo respectively.
  • Stockholm Syndrome: Hazuki becomes sympathetic to them when they apologize and make her food. Never mind the fact that earlier, they kidnapped her against her will, tried to tie her up, pointed a gun at her face, and took her away from her friends.
  • Straight Man and Wise Guy: Aniki is the Straight Man to Otouto's Wise Guy.

    Candy Ito (Candy Armstrong)

Voiced by: Miwa Matsumoto (Japanese)

  • Image Song: "Fukazume Fighter ~Candy Ito's Theme~"
  • Shout-Out: Her first name comes probably from Japanese female wrestler Tomoko "Candy" Okutsu.
  • Worf Had the Flu: Suffered an injury during her first appearance right before her match. She trudged on, but she was still having a run of bad luck. As it turns out, all of this was due to a Bad Card hiding inside an action figure owned by Mutsumi. Once it was removed, Candy managed to pull through.

    Karen Morino

Voiced by: Fuuko Misaki (Japanese)

  • Call-Back: Karen makes a non-speaking appearance in Dokkan as one of the actresses for the new Battle Ranger show, displaying her moment of success in the entertainment world.
  • Disappeared Dad: Her father became sick and died shortly after landing a big role.
  • Morality Pet: To Onpu for her Pet the Dog moments as part of her Character Development.
  • Shrinking Violet: As noted in Weak But Skilled, she's a talented actress, but is also prone to stage fright.
  • Weak, but Skilled: Karen is a very good actress, but is prone to being unconfident and having stage fright.

    Beth

Voiced by: Umi Tenjin (Japanese)

    Mary Wolf

Voiced by: Ai Nagano (Japanese)

  • Identical Stranger: She looks (and sounds) just like Tamaki, except she has a different outfit. Tamaki denies the resemblance.
  • Lovable Alpha Bitch: Despite being, in Momoko's words, the same as Tamaki Reika, she is still open to being friends with people despite her rough personality.

    Kyousuke

Voiced by: Akira Ishida (Japanese)

    Sakuya

    Yoichi Sakuragi

  • Batman Gambit: He goes after those he finds as naive and wealthy and puts up an affable facade to lure them in. For those who do seek him out, once they're in his clutches, he's all but won no matter what happens. They get married? He gets their wealth and would likely cut them off. They find out and confront him? He reveals and revels in his Jerkassery as his victim is driven off in tears. None of this is possible if his mark doesn't show up for whatever reason.
  • Break the Cutie: What he does to poor Reiko. His nonchalant way of saying it implies that she might not have been his first victim...
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: He gives Reika a jacket while it's raining to help keep her dry so she would have a reason to seek him out and return it. He eventually reveals that he set it up just to either get her wealth by marriage OR get a sick kick out of toying with her emotions.
  • Card-Carrying Villain: He knows he's bad and actively revels in it when he's busy kicking his victims.
  • The Charmer: One of his traits that he uses to lure his victims in. He will legitimately help someone out when they're in trouble and displays and open and friendly demeanor.
  • Evil Gloating: Pulls this after Reiko finds out his true nature. The fact that she is in a position where she can't do anything about it just makes him look more evil.
  • Evil Laugh: Gives one as Reiko runs away in tears.
  • Faux Affably Evil: He's also one of the only genuinely evil characters in the whole series.
  • False Friend: He helps Reiko out by lending her his jacket when it starts raining. This leads to her tracking him down and meeting him, where he introduces himself and the two become friends. He eventually reveals his Nice Guy demeanor was a ruse to get in good with a wealthy lady and psychologically hurts Reiko when she finds out he lied about his works.
  • Foreshadowing: He mentions that he's an "unpopular poet". Then you see what he does later on...
  • For the Evulz: His other motivation for hurting Reiko in her Backstory is simply because he can.
  • Gold Digger: One of his motivations for getting in good with Reiko was because he wanted her family's wealth.
  • Jerkass: Breaks the hearts of naive girls just because he can and plagiarizes to make himself seem better in their eyes.
  • Karma Houdini: He is never given any real comeuppance for his actions. If anything, he was left free to keep doing to other hapless women what he did to Reiko. It's even possible he succeeded in marrying into wealth and becoming a Domestic Abuser.
  • Kick the Dog: What he does to his victims should they confront him.
  • Knight of Cerebus: He isn't an Anti-Villain like the other enemies thus far have been. Even more unusually for this trope, he only appears in episode 42 of Dokkan and is never mentioned again.
  • One-Shot Character: Only appears in episode 42 of Dokkan, and even then it was only during a flashback. Considering what he did in that episode, let's be very thankful.
  • Pet the Dog: What he also does to lure in his victims. Case in point: He give Reiko his jacket to help her against the rain without even asking for anything in return, all with the intent of giving her a reason to track him down and come into his clutches.
  • Plagiarism in Fiction: He copied poems from a book of famous poems and passed them off as his own to aid in luring Reiko in. He was uncovered as a plagiarist when Reiko's mother showed her a copy of said book and Reiko made the connection. She confronted him on the subject and the rest is brutal history.
  • Prince Charmless: He is a legitimately charming person, but his true colors are anything but charming.
  • The Sociopath: He doesn't care how much he hurts his victims. If anything, he gets off on it. His personality and actions are also quite close to those of real life sociopaths too.
  • Vile Villain, Saccharine Show: The only truly evil villain in the show proper, even more evil than the Wizards and Majo Tourbillon, given how he revels in Reiko's pain and heartbreak.

A sick little girl who Doremi meets, who wished to be a witch.
  • Affectionate Nickname: Non-chan. Given to her by her parents and others at the hospital.
  • Baldness Means Sickness: She wears a shamrock green bandanna with teal print over her head due to losing her hair to chemotherapy.
  • Bifauxnen: Doremi originally thought she was a boy when they first met in the hospital. Non takes it pretty well.
  • Cute Little Fangs: The only one who consistently has this.
  • Color-Coded Characters: In her only appearance, she wore green.
  • Crisis of Faith: In the middle of the only episode she's featured, she admits to Doremi that she's starting to lose faith in magic. This leads to Doremi speaking with her witch friends to give Non enough magic to become an Apprentice Witch for one evening and restore her faith.
  • Genre Savvy: She knew a great deal about Witches and how to be a good one.
  • Littlest Cancer Patient: Not necessarily, but still qualifies. She is a very young girl stricken with a terminal illness.
  • Meaningful Name: "Nozomi" can be translated to "hope", "Wish", or "desires"
  • One-Shot Character: Only appeared in one episode proper. She was mentioned in Ojamajo Doremi 16/17 to Hana.
  • Snow Means Death: It was snowing when she was first diagnosed. This becomes Foreshadowing when she died on a day that was snowing.
  • Stepford Smiler: It's revealed that she was very depressed before Doremi came along and befriended her.
  • Tragic Dream: Her last wish was to play in the snow with her mother, Hikari, should she get better.
  • Yank the Dog's Chain: She succumbs to her illness just as The High Queen had given permission to make her an apprentice.
