- Heroes Love Dogs: Kairi is fond of dogs and had always wanted one as a child. She is reluctant to fight Charles Muntz's dogs despite them being Heartless and later forms a friendship with Bolt.
- Incorruptible Pure Pureness: As a Princess of Heart, her heart is naturally devoid of darkness. Initially, at least.
- I Will Find You: Kairi's main goal throughout the story is to find and reunite with Sora.
- Modesty Shorts: Wears this with a tank top as her under-armor.
- Named by the Adaptation: Kairi's last name is revealed in the Sloth DMV scene to be Uchida.
- Precocious Crush: As a child, Kairi had a crush on Cloud Strife.
- The Protagonist: The entire story revolves around Kairi's quest to find Sora.
- Rage Breaking Point: In the Zootopia arc, Aros holding a savage Xion and Naminé on leashes coupled with him stabbing Nick Wilde pushes Kairi over the edge. She falls to her knees and screams before regressing into a savage state and giving Aros a well-deserved mauling.
- Related in the Adaptation: Kairi's grandmother is revealed to be an incarnation of the ancient Keywielder Vor.

So, there's a lot of complicated and adult stuff that I'm still trying to learn and process, and love is just...a really hard one. Like, how do you know if you love someone? And if you do, what kind of love is it? How do you know if it's romantic love? Or how do you know if it's family love? How can you tell? It just seems like a lot.

Kairi's Nobody and a sweet, gentle girl with power over memories.- Brooding Boy, Gentle Girl: The Gentle Girl to Riku's Brooding Boy.
- Cuteness Proximity: Is immediately endeared to Olaf.
- Eek, a Mouse!!: Is terrified of rats, much to Xion's annoyance.
- Large Ham: Though usually soft-spoken, Naminé reacts uncharacteristically loudly to rats.EW! OH MY GOSH GROSS!

A close friend of Xion and Roxas and a charismatic Keybearer who trained alongside Kairi. Axel was once a member of Organization XIII before defecting to the side of the heroes. After the destruction of his home, Axel becomes the leader of the Twilight Town Restoration Committee.- The Atoner: Axel feels immense guilt for his actions in the Organization and is dead-set on atoning for his crimes.
- Catchphrase: "Got it memorized?"

An Ancient Keyblade Master and the sixth apprentice of the Master of Masters. In his current incarnation of Xigbar, Luxu aided in Master Xehanort's schemes in order to fulfill the prophecy of the Second Keyblade War. After Xehanort's defeat, Luxu reclaimed his Keyblade and began the next stage of the Master's plan.- Abusive Parent: Is emotionally abusive and manipulative towards Kaguya.
- Bad Boss: Treats Aros as little more than a tool and acts as an abusive guardian to Kaguya.
- Big Bad: Xigbar/Luxu takes center stage after Xehanort's defeat.
- Black Cloak: Wears this despite no longer having ties to Organization XIII.
- The Corruptor: Attempts to push Aladdin into darkness by convincing him to kill his estranged father.
- Master of Illusion: Tricks Naminé with an illusion of Kairi and Riku kissing in an effort to form a rift between Kairi and her friends.
- The Power of Hate: Luxu invokes this in an attempt to push Kairi over the edge.You wanna know where Sora is? Then just try and pry that out of me. Come on, come and get me. Get really angry and fight me. You know that's how you feel, is that right, Kairi? Accept it, Princess of Heart, you want true strength? Let your anger and hate fuel that strength!

The Sixth Foreteller; Aros is a Replica created by Luxu. He is revealed to be a Replica of of Sora created with the express purpose of manipulating Kairi.- Animal Motif: Wears a helmet with the face of a badger.
- Artificial Human: A Replica of Sora created from one of Even's spare vessels.
- Canon Character All Along: In a sense. Aros turns out to be a Replica of Sora, though he ultimately forms his own distinct identity.
- Clone Angst: Aros is initially distraught upon the realization that he is Sora's Replica. His appearance, his memories; all borrowed. A pep talk from Grandmother Willow inspires him to find his own destiny.
- Co-Dragons: He and Kaguya serve as this to Luxu.
- Dramatic Unmask: After capturing Kairi, Aros dismisses his helmet, revealing a face identical to Sora's, albeit with Supernatural Gold Eyes and black highlights in his hair.
- Fake Memories: Shares his memories with Sora, which Luxu represses by clouding his heart with darkness.
- Foil: To Riku Replica. Both are Replicas of main characters created by the villains with the express purpose of manipulating their friends. Both suffer from Clone Angst and eventually betray their creators in order to live their own lives. They also both give up on their lives for someone else to live (Riku Replica for Naminé, Aros for Kairi).
- Heroic Sacrifice: After Luxu destroys Kairi's body and Sora takes her heart just like he did all the way back in Kingdom Hearts, Aros gives up on his existence to provide a Replica body to save Kairi with.
- Malicious Misnaming: Refers to Governor Ratcliffe as "Ratty".
- Meaningful Name: "Aros" is "Sora" backwards; an allusion to him being Sora's Replica.
- Metronomic Man Mashing: Is subjected to this by Grandmother Willow and Kevin.
- Original Character:
- Punch-Clock Villain: Aros has no investment in his mission and spends much of his time snarking at his superiors and co-workers sans Kaguya. He eventually ditches his mission altogether and spends an extensive period of time exploring the worlds with Kaguya.
- Villainous Friendship: Shares a close bond with Kaguya, which eventually blossoms into love.
- What Is This Thing You Call "Love"?: Being an Artificial Human with minimal life experience, Aros is still unfamiliar with the concept of love.I...guess. I guess love is a strong connection shared between people, but it's so powerful that it's impossible to describe. Like, I guess in Sora and Kairi's case, it's when you have someone that gives you the strength to keep going when times get tough. Something like that.

The Seventh Foreteller and a mysterious girl whom Luxu found in the Realm of Darkness. from the negative emotions from Sora's loss.]]- Animal Motif: Wears the mask of a panther.
- Co-Dragons: With Aros to Luxu.
- Cuteness Proximity: Is quickly endeared to the dogs in Paradise Falls. [[spoiler:
- Foil: To Vanitas. Both are the physical embodiments of another character's darkness who serve as The Dragon to the Big Bad. Both try to merge with their respective counterparts. The difference is that Vanitas is a Card-Carrying Villain whilst Kaguya is an Anti-Villain.
- The Ingenue: Downplayed. Despite her taunting behaviour towards the heroes, Kaguya has the innocence of a child, with a genuine curiosity for the world around her. Her relationship with Luxu is akin to that of an Abusive Parent.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Is wracked with guilt when Luxu forces her to partake in an illusion to turn Kairi's friends against her.
- Original Character:
- Punch-Clock Villain: Mentally a child who performs her duties on orders from her abusive guardian.
- The Reveal: Kaguya is the embodiment of Kairi's darkness.
- Supernatural Gold Eyes: The key feature that sets her apart from Kairi.
