    Lim Taesik

Lim Taesik

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/limtaesik.jpg

The director of KSA. Taesik puts the well-being of his employees before anything even if it means having to team up with an obvious enemy, such as Cerberus, to keep them safe.

  • Da Chief: Acts like this towards An Sangeen and Na Yonsu at times, screaming at them and smashing the desk, though he mellows out once Union shows up.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: Lim knows that he's no match for the people he's forced to deal with, such as when those of the Company come to his doorstep wanting stuff done for them. The only reason Lim goes along with them is to keep those working for him safe.

    An Sangeen

An Sangeen

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ansangeen.jpg

A modified human working for KSA. Sangeen disguises as a teacher to find potential government recruits at Ye Ran High, but ends up fighting Takeo after putting the students in danger.

  • A Day in the Limelight: The only time Sangeen got to do anything was during the mini-arc where they tried to recruit Ye Ran High students into the government.
  • Battle Couple: He's married to Na Yonsu, and they fight together against the Raizel Knights.
  • Enemy Mine: Barely a few chapters after his and Yonsu's fight with the Raizel Knights, he goes to them for help against the Cerberus.
  • Failure Gambit: He deliberately lets himself get "seriously injured" (for a human) by one of the Cerberus so that he can have an excuse to leave them and go find the Knights.
  • Friend on the Force: He and Na Yonsu are Frankenstein's contact with the KSA.
  • Happily Married: Him and Na Yonsu are married, and clearly care for each other a lot.
  • Manly Tears: Tears up a little when he hears about all the dead KSA agents.
  • Overshadowed by Awesome: Being a modified human who wields superpowers would be awesome anywhere else. Unfortunately, this is a series where every other important character has powers that are greater than theirs.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Blue to Yonsu's Red, as he plans ahead and tries (ineffectively) to hold his wife's temper back.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: He's quick to realize when he's outclassed, and attempts to withdraw. Unfortunately, he has hard time convincing Yonsu this is the reasonable thing to do.
  • Those Two Guys: Him and Na Yonsu - just look how many tropes they share.

    Na Yonsu

Na Yonsu

A modified human working for KSA. Yonsu disguises as a teacher to find potential government recruits at Ye Ran High, but ends up fighting M-21 after putting the students in danger.

  • A Day in the Limelight: The only time Yonsu got to do anything was during the mini-arc where they tried to recruit Ye Ran High students into the government.
  • Battle Couple: She's An Sangeen's wife, and just as much of a badass as he is.
  • Friend on the Force: She and An Sangeen are Frankenstein's contacts in the KSA.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: A lot of the problems in the KSA arc come from her inability to hold back her temper.
  • Happily Married: She almost goes to war against the Cerberus (each of whom outclasses her tenfold) when her husband is injured.
  • Overshadowed by Awesome: Being a modified human who wields superpowers would be awesome anywhere else. Unfortunately, this is a series where every other important character has powers that are greater than theirs.
  • Pro-Human Transhuman: She wants to protect her country from being taken over by the Union.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Red to Sangeen's Blue, as she's the one with the fiery temper.
  • Speak in Unison: She and M-21 ask each other if the other one's from Union at the same time, which shocks both of them enough to stop the fight.
  • Those Two Guys: Her and An Sangeen - see above.
