Squad Four in General
Squad Four in My Superhero Academy
Perry: If I have glove, I slap you and demand satisfaction.
Iona: I've had enough! And this time, I'm not powerless to do anything! If people are going to make me out to be some dangerous freak, I'll give them a reason! Make them think twice about showing it!
Even more than squad 3, squad 4 is currently a mass of individuals.
- Huffle Puff House: As mentioned, squad 4 is a mass of individuals as close as any random sample of half a dozen on the subway. When they do act together, its in cliques of two or three.
Peregrine "Perry" Alastor (Stray)
Player: Jumping Fruit
Wandering Summoner of Lost Spirits
- Parental Abandonment: She was abandoned because of her weak ability to summon and channel human spirits. Her parents dropped her off on a street corner and told her to wait. They never came back. She ended up being raised by her spirit pets. The experience turned her a little bit feral.
- Because You Were Nice to Me: This is the implied reason as to why her spirit pets follow her.
- Street Urchin: Perry was one of these for two years, until she was Recruited from the Gutter by Saint Solutions and given the opportunity to attend Saint Academy.
- You No Take Candle / Buffy Speak: This is how Perry talks. She's not good with explaining things in general, really. She can't seem to remember names and instead uses nicknames.
- The Minion Master: Her powers let her summon a large amount of animal spirits, provided that she has some kind of positive interaction with them first. This is limited to mistreated pets for some unknown reason.
- Powers via Possession: Currently, she has three "best friends" that she can channel. Each grants her different abilities and a shadowy aura to signify who she's channeling.
- Rollo the wolfdog gives her a significant boost to her strength, a more sensitive sense of smell, and sharper teeth.
- Lucky the cat gives her a boost to her speed and agility, flexibility, muffled footsteps, nightvison, a righting reflex, and shadowy claws.
- Pip the cockatoo gives her a pair of shadowy wings and the ability to mimic voices.
Iuvem
- Anthropomorphic Personification / Cosmic Being / Golem: Even though his golem body was created from the remains of the planet Jupiter, his hidden sentience/conscience was always inside the planet.
- The Big Guy / The Smart Guy.
- The Comically Serious: He can be this sometimes.
- Combat Pragmatist / Genius Bruiser: He can be analytical and strategic, but can also be The Big Guy of the squad.
- Making a Splash / An Ice Person: With his hydrogen manipulation powers, he can control water, ice and also steam.
- Older Than Dirt / Really 700 Years Old: His hidden conscience is as old the planet itself: around 4.6 billion years old.
- Shattered World: Subverted. Thanks to the tomfoolery of his destroyers. He got back together as a "golem".
Vivian
Clay Cole
Evelyn
Player: Enirboreh
- Blind Seer: Affected by the "eightball fracture" level of hyphema, a condition where blood collects in the anterior chamber of the eye (in this case due to her body experimentation effectively destroying the surrounding blood vessels). Also gives her a case of Red Eyes, Take Warning as a side-effect.
- Eye Scream: See above. Also the fact that her Third Eye literally tears through the skin on her forehead.
- Shrinking Violet: Certainly seems to be; judging by her quiet manner of speaking an occasional stuttering. At the very least she doesn't seem as bad as Lucy was in the first year.
- Third Eye: Has one located behind her forehead. Unlike in typical portrayals, Evelyn's Third Eye is actually biological—tied to her pineal gland and physically pushing through her skin to manifest itself.
Cole Streiss
Player: Nick The Swing The Multiverse Traveler
- Alien Geometry: Created a flower out of energy for Evelyn...a flower that is much, much bigger on the inside. He doesn't even know about that latter part.
- Alternate Self: Cole even remembers several alternate selves to the students of Saint University...some of whom were, awkwardly enough, his enemies. It makes socializing with the class rather strange for him.
- Badass Boast: Cole seems to be fond of them. His reaction to Hawk calling him a liar is a cheerful "You don't know me. But when this is over, you will." True to his word, he stomped Hawk into the ground.
- Child Soldiers: Given he was involved with a group called Clan Asher, fighting against Alpha-Leunis when Cole was just 14. The situation was really just that bad.
- Deadpan Snarker: Cole can be a bit of a wise-ass, but his heart is very much in the right place.
- Dimensional Traveler: He's been around the multiversal block. Sometimes he travels the 'verse intentionally, other times less so.
- Fashion Dissonance: Cole is basically the living embodiment of 2004-2005 fashion. Everything's tight, there's denim, boots...
- Handsome Lech: Cole has a bit of a history of involvement with the opposite sex. However, he's still remarkably chivalrous about his advances, and keeps things from being creepy.
- La Résistance: Was involved in one against Alpha-Leunis, the cruel overlord of his original world.
- Megaton Punch: By concentrating his psionic power into his arms, he can deliver an enormously powerful punch.
- Power Incontinence: His powers heavily shift from high to low randomly - he has next to no control over them.
- Psychic Powers: Singularly powerful ones - if things align properly, Cole is overwhelmingly powerful, able to rearrange atoms, psychically communicate en masse, travel the multiverse casually...
- Unskilled, but Strong: But Cole is nothing if not the epitome of high power, poor control. To the extent that his powers are handled by a random number generator.
