Tropes for a few of the regular characters that appear in Midnightstuck, both canonical or original.
Midnight Crew
Spades Slick
- Dude, Where's My Respect?: Regularly complains about this since he is "The leader of the Midnight Crew and the king of Midnight City".
- Trademark Favorite Food: Scottie Dogs.
- Antihero: Since many various accidents ocurred in the past, Slick tried to save the timelines and fight the horrterros, Lord English and Scratch all he could. Sadly the only one who remebers the timelines reset aside from himself is Doc Scratch.
- Artificial Limbs: He has picked up a robo-arm to replace the one Snowman took off.
- Badass: It becomes increasingly clear that you do not fuck with the Midnight Crew under any circumstance. That of course doesn't mean everyone follows this rules. Ignoring this fact casuses multiple fights.
- Complexity Addiction
- Eyepatch of Power: After his other eye is injured. He keeps even after the robotics because he thought it looked cool.
- Good Scars, Evil Scars
- Get A Hold Of Yourself Man: Many multiple times With his Crew, specially with Droog.
- Hidden Depths: he can be rather gentlemanly when he wants to be.
- Named Weapons: He's got OCCAM'S RAZOR, a DOUBLE-EDGED SWORD, a BUTTERFLY EFFECT KNIFE, and his very own RAPIER WIT. There's something of a theme to these names...
- Not So Above It All: Multiple times he has been seen being a dork, even playing to fight Batman. Of course that happened once.
- Death Dealer: An odd case, since all of them store their weapons in the form of cards. Throw a card at somebody, and it will turn back into a bomb/axe/knife/etc before it hits them.
- Porn Stash
- Villain Protagonist: Altought he is not as much of a presence anymore, he used to be the first two timelines.

Problem Sleuth
- Dude, Where's My Respect??: Regularly complains about this since he killed Demonhead Mobster Kingpin with a strongly worded letter and some candy corn, but it doesn't seem to count for much since no one except the members of Team Sleuth were around to see it.
- The Charmer: Naturally with how much pulchritude he had in the Land of Imagination, he's quite charming, but it sometimes doesn't work on some characters, seeing as how it's an RP. Somewhat subverted, as stats in the Land of Imagination didn't really carry over to the real world to their somewhat ridiculous degrees.
- Private Detective
- Hardboiled Detective: Subverted, as he's secretly not all that hardboiled, but is otherwise obsessed to look so. When first meeting him however, he seems like a pretty straight example.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Candy corn, naturally. Steak dinners to a lesser extent.
- Heterosexual Life-Partners: Him and Pickle Inspector's relationship's is completely heterosexual and the very implication of it being otherwise will get you arrested for defamation and also being a huge creepy asshole.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Problem Sleuth can sometimes be a pretty big asshole, but he really does care for his teammates, and really gets set on finishing his cases, even if he doesn't use the cleanest methods to get to the bottom of things.

Ms. Paint
Owner of Ms. Paint's diner. Sympathetic. Robotic. Pretty swell dame, all things considered.- Cute Bruiser: She's quirky and adorable. She also throws people through windows.

Andrew Hussie
- Big Eater: Inverted. Hussie will order absolutely ridiculous amounts of food at the diner, but usually just uses the food in creative ways to mess with people. He still is going through the 413 Andrew Huss Puppies he ordered weeks after purchasing them.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: He knows fully of Homestuck, seeing as how he created it, and makes sure people know about it.
- Cloudcuckoolander: Absolutely embraces it, claiming this universe wouldn't be the intrepid landscape it is without his loony ways.
- Deadpan Snarker
- No Fourth Wall: He knows fully of Homestuck, seeing as how he created it, and makes sure people know about it.
- Unexplained Recovery: Never mentions how he got back to Alternia after being shot to death by Lord English, but with his occasional calling himself "The Hussiah" it implies he's Godtier and can't die unless it's Just or Heroically.
- Stalker with a Crush: Towards Vriska, to the point where he already has a wedding plan, house blueprints for their summer home, and 613 potential names for their 'freak of nature' human/troll hybrid children.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Mainly to Paint.
- Jerk with a Heart of Jerk: Mainly to everyone else.
