  • Action Girl: Ryung spends most of her time causing destruction and fighting drones and mechs wherever she goes.
  • Aloof Ally: Ryung has a rather anti-social attitude towards the planet's inhabitants, being teasing and callous towards the humans and especially dismissive of the reploids.
  • Anti-Hero: Ryung is 'incredibly' destructive in her efforts to Stop Pol Lution, happily causing wanton chaos and destruction wherever she goes. That being said, her goal is still to save people and her protective forcefield keeps onlookers out of harm's way.
  • Anti-Villain: Once Ryung grows even larger, she becomes this as her goal turns to destroying the planet's civilization which she deems as dirty and corrupt, so they can start again more in tune with nature.
  • Badass Adorable: Ryung is easily a city destroyer but she's still plenty cute.
  • Badass Boast:
"It was a good idea to send more troops! Now I can step on all of you!"
  • Badass Pacifist: Despite her destructive tendencies, her protective forcefield no one is harmed as she does. That doesn't mean she won't scare them half to death, though.
  • Black-and-White Morality: Ryung's perspective of the conflict is very simple, and as a result her ideas to fix it are equally so. It's her way or the highway.
  • Civilization Destroyer: her intent once she grows even larger. And she has the power to do it, too.
  • Cool Mask: After episode 2, is never seen without one.
  • Cruelty by Feet: Particularly enjoys stepping on humans. It doesn't do them any harm, but it no doubt terrifies them.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: With any ground force she encounters, she's wiped the floor with them in just a few seconds.
  • Dangled by a Giant: Does this when teasing those opposing her.
  • Dark Action Girl: Is definitely on the cusp of this at first. played straight once she decides to destroy the world.
  • Destructive Savior: Though Ryung's intention is to stop Pol Lution, it doesn't stop her from destroying anything and everything in her path while she does.
  • Dissonant Serenity: Always maintains a calm, collected disposition no matter her situation. A big contrast to the panic she causes on the streets at her feet.
  • Dynamic Entry: Ryung appears for the first time by performing a combat roll right through a portal, bulldozing a block or two in the process.
  • Earthy Barefoot Character: Never wears shoes and has an affinity with nature.
  • Eco-Terrorist: Downplayed as she never actually hurts anyone, but nevertheless spreads terror and destruction while fighting against Pol Lution.
  • Energy Weapon: After an upgrade to her gear, Ryung gets an energy weapon on her wrist which turns whatever it touches into lush greenery.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Even when trying to destroy the world, no one is hurt. She's doing this to help, after all!
  • Evil Feels Good: Downplayed as she's not out to hurt anyone, but Ryung very obviously loves the fear she causes in humans. Played straight with reploids as they would be destroyed by her stomps.
  • Excuse Me, Coming Through!: Announces this in a teasing manner whenever she's making her way through the city at giant size.
"Please get out of your cars! And out of my way! Fast!"
  • Faceā€“Heel Turn: Ryung herself takes the stage as the story's villain once she grows even bigger and gets bigger ideas to go along with it.
  • Fantastic Racism: Doesn't believe androids to be sentient and holds a grudge against them.
  • Fearsome Foot: Has many shots that fit this.
  • For the Evulz: Downplayed as no one gets hurt, but spreading terror does nothing to help her goal - she just does that for fun!
  • Gentle Giant: Greatly downplayed thanks to Ryung's destructiveness and love for scaring people, but inside she cares greatly for people and makes active efforts to make sure no one is ever hurt by her.
  • Giant Equals Invincible: Is impervious to most forms of attack. Only particularly heavy weapons can even make her budge.
  • Giant Foot of Stomping: She likes stomping her way downtown a little too much.
  • Giant Woman: This goes without saying.
  • Good Is Not Nice: Though her intentions are good, she takes way too much pleasure in scaring innocent people and causing untold destruction to be considered at all 'nice'.
  • Green Aesop: Loves nature and hates technology and pollution. It's a big reason why she loves rampaging through human cities so much.
  • Green Thumb: Has an energy beam that causes lush plant life to grow wherever it touches.
  • Hero with Bad Publicity: Justified as Ryung is seen as a rampaging monster by most. She doesn't help her case with her love for taunting people.
  • Human Aliens: Despite being an alien, Ryung looks exactly like a human bar the vast size difference.
  • Humans Are Morons: Doesn't take humans and their 'society' all that seriously, hence her aloof attitude towards them and everything they make.
  • Immune to Bullets: Ryung's big enough that she won't even feel normal bullets.
  • Intimidation Demonstration: Since her forcefield prevents her from hurting anyone, all her attacks come down to this. Just a taste of what she could do if she wanted.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Ryung loves to destroy and scare anyone caught underfoot, but would never hurt a soul and at the end of the day is there to save them more than anything.
  • Just a Machine: Ryung doesn't believe androids to be sentient and so will crush them with malicious intent without a care.
  • Kick Chick: 95% of all her attacks are either kicks or stomps.
  • Lack of Empathy: Rather enjoys terrifying civilians, whether they deserve it or not. Will draw the line at hurting them, though.
  • Light Is Good: Ryung primarily wears white, while the villains wear black. subverted when she decides to destroy the world with her new powers.
  • Loves the Sound of Screaming: Takes great delight in causing mass panic wherever she goes.
  • Never Hurt an Innocent: This is where she draws the line, despite her cruel tendencies. She'll scare and bully, but never harm.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Ryung goes on a rampage to destroy the planet's civilization under the belief that they'll rebuild a better world, having no idea of the Techno Owl's plans to take over once she's done.
  • Non-Lethal Warfare: Ryung destroys countless buildings and stomps on countless more people, but her protective forcefield ensures no one is left no worse than shaken up once she's done with them.
  • Obliviously Evil: Does not understand why wiping out civilization could be a bad thing. As far as she's concerned, it's nothing but a new opportunity for the planet's inhabitants.
  • One-Man Army: Is big and strong enough to take on an army with ease.
  • Our Giants Are Bigger: A less common Sci-Fi example - Ryung is a gigantic alien from another planet.
  • Person of Mass Destruction. Could easily wipe out a city if she wanted. And once she's even bigger, take the world.
  • Prefers Going Barefoot: It's a sensual thing for her.
  • Protagonist Title: The name of the series shares its name with its main character.
  • Reckless Pacifist: With the reassurance that her forcefield will keep people safe, Ryung happily goes wild in her rampages.
  • Removing the Earpiece: Does this once she's done listening to Rick trying to stop her from destroying the world.
  • Rolling Attack: Decides to combat roll through the portal that brings her to Pol Lution's world and takes out a few blocks in the process.
  • Saving the World: Ryung's intention. However misguided it may be once she's even bigger.
  • Shadow of Impending Doom: Casts a big one on her initial appearance.
  • Sizeshifter: Though Ryung is naturally a giant, she can shrink down to human size or increase her height tenfold.
  • Super-Strength: Can tear down buildings and crush mechs with ease.
  • Super-Toughness: Can tank anything but the strongest weapons the world has to offer.
  • Technical Pacifist: Has a strict no killing rule. But wiping out a society? Why not?
  • Technophobia: Has a distaste for most technology. Especially androids.
  • Terror Hero: More than happily causes total panic wherever she goes.
  • There Is No Kill Like Overkill: The world too sick with smog and pollution? Better wipe out a civilization!
  • Thou Shalt Not Kill: Her only rule, despite her destructive tendencies.
  • Unnecessary Combat Roll: Does this in her first appearance, rolling through a portal and taking out a few blocks with her.
  • Villain Protagonist: Takes on the role of the villain when she decides to wipe out civilization after growing even bigger.
  • Weapon Stomp: If tanks count as weapons, then she stomps plenty of 'em.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: Though destroying the world sounds a little drastic, she honestly believes it would lead to a better future.
  • What Measure Is a Non-Human?: Ryung doesn't believe reploids to be 'real' people, and as such are not affected by her protective range.

     Pol Lution 
  • Cyborg: Pol Lution has replaced his legs with a mechanical hover device.
  • Dark Is Evil: Wears black clothing and is a corrupt CEO.
  • Evil Cripple: Intentionally removed his legs, replacing them with cyborg parts.
  • Evil, Inc.: His unnamed company is built with amoral efforts in mind.
  • Evil Plan: To turn the world's population into cyborgs.
  • Evil Sounds Raspy: Has a very quiet, scratchy voice.
  • Evil Wears Black: See Dark Is Evil above.
  • Flat Character: Doesn't get any development beyond the basics.
  • Stock Evil Overlord Tactics:
    • Brute Force against Ryung, with his armies of Mooks at his disposal.
    • Guile for the rest of the world with the untold amount of riches he's gathered from his company.
  • The Dragon: To the Techno Owl.

  • Big Bad: Is the big bad of the story with the closest tie to Ryung and the one pulling the strings.
  • The Chessmaster: Is able to easily take advantage of both Pol Lution and Ryung's motivations to create the perfect situation for it.
  • Ominous Owl: Is an evil robot owl pulling the strings.
