Captain Brad Hawkins

Deuce

A SFOD-Delta operator and member of AFO Wolfpack.

Dusty

A SFOD-Delta operator and member of AFO Wolfpack.
  • Cool Shades: a package of his badassery along with his beard and cap.
  • Handicapped Badass: lost his leg during his service at Delta, forcing him to transfer to the OGA and working behind the scenes.
  • Expy: He is based on Dusty Hammer, a retired Tier-1 operator who now works as a SOF consultant.
  • Ironic Name: He probably isn't named after the dust that was everywhere in the immediate aftermath of the collapse of the Twin Towers and which left first responders with serious and lethal persisting health issues from breathing it in to this day (2020) but considering his hat...
  • Spotlight-Stealing Squad: He is not a player character, but his popularity makes him appear in the game's front cover and promotions. He is basicaly the Medal of Honor's counterpart to Captain John Price

Mother

A Navy SEAL DEVGRU operator and leader of AFO Neptune.
  • Defiant to the End: In the second game, when held hostage by AQ and knowing he will be executed, his last words are a Your Mom quip to his captors.
  • Expy: seems to be based off real DEVGRU operator Senior Chief Petty Officer "Slab" Slabinski. Unlike Slabinski who went on to become a more successful career officer, Mother got killed during a mission.
  • Killed Off for Real: Dies in Warfighter when Sad Ad-Din shot him right on the head.
  • One-Man Army: Though he makes full use of every advantage he can find, Mother repeatedly carves a bloody swath through numerically-superior Taliban/AQ opposition.

Panther

A SFOD-Delta operator and leader of AFO Wolfpack
  • Expy: seems to be based off Lt. Col. Peter Blaber, real Delta team commander during Operation Anaconda.
  • The Stoic: Of all the SOF operators in the game, he is the one with the most level-headed, unfazed view of them, even when facing a crisis like having to rescue Mother and Rabbit in the last mission.

Preacher

A Navy SEAL DEVGRU operator and member of Mother’s AFO Neptune.
  • Code Name: Inverted. Warfighter reveals his true name, Thomas Walker.
  • Flanderization: Hits this hard after 2010. In the first game, he is snarky, has a good sense of humor, quite fond of one-liners, and likes hip-hop (something that Mother complains about in the first mission). Come Warfighter, he acts pretty much like a Shell-Shocked Veteran: he talks less, has problems with his marriage (while this is pretty much Truth in Television for real life SOF soldiers, in here it's Played for Drama), and generally much gloomier than before (he doesn't even remark Mother's snarking in the Hello and Dubai mission). While it can be justified that his later character is caused after losing Rabbit, the contrast with Mother and Voodoo not having that much change from the previous game is still glaring.
  • Player Character: The main protagonist of Warfighter.

Rabbit

A Navy SEAL DEVGRU operator and member of Mother’s AFO Neptune, and one of the first game’s POV characters.
  • Expy: is loosely based on SEAL operator Petty Officer First Class Neil "Fifi" C. Roberts.
  • Killed Off for Real: Dies from his wounds in the game. He's the first and currently only player character in the series to be killed.
  • Player Character: of the Silent Protagonist type because he doesn't have any lines.

Voodoo

A Navy SEAL DEVGRU operator and member of Mother’s AFO Neptune.
  • American Accents: Very South Boston.
  • Expy: He is apparently based off First Lt. "Voodoo" Zazeela.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: Even more than the rest of the cast.
  • You Are in Command Now: After Mother and Preacher got transferred from the Navy to CIA's OGA, he is the one running their team, Task Force Mako on various missions.
