A high-ranking devil who's the President of the Student Council- Absurdly Powerful Student Council: Being another group of devils, Makoto is initially convinced she and Rias are part of the Illuminati.
- Best Her to Bed Her: Makoto somehow beats her at chess at the beginning of Volume 4. Then he learns that Sona once broke up with a fiancé because he wasn't able to beat her in chess and refuses to marry a man who can't rival her intelligence. Makoto quickly realizes what that means for him. Sona later clarifies to Makoto that he is just on her short list of candidates and understands there are others (namely Rias and Akeno) who may like him more.
- Defeat Means Friendship: She becomes much friendlier towards Makoto after she beats him in chess and begins regularly referring to him by his first name.
- Good Is Not Soft: Despite being firmly on the heroes' side, she's quite strict and is not shy in disciplining her servants when they act out of line, which Saji learns the hard way. It gets to the point where Rias has to convince her to start considering the feelings of her servants more.
- Lethal Chef: While not demonstrated, even suggesting that she cook sends shivers down her and the rest of the Student Council's spine. Thankfully Asia was able to bail her out when she invited Makoto over for dinner.
- Not So Above It All: Despite being a Rules Lawyer according to Makoto, she's willing to play dirty to win during the Sports Festival, including enchanting balls during both the Tennis and Dodgeball game.
- The Rival: She, along with the Student Council, is this towards Rias, one of her fellow high-ranking devils. She begins to become this to Makoto as well, clashing multiple times during the Sports Festival.
- School Idol: She is right behind Rias and Akeno in terms of popularity, as demonstrated by the cheers she generated during the Tennis Match.
- Sibling Yin-Yang: Even mentioning her sister is embarrassing to her due to how much her serious personality clashes with Serafall's manic personality.
- Student Council President: Is this along with being the King of her peerage.
Genshiro Saji
Rank: Pawn (x4)
Secretary of the Student Council and Pawn of Sona Sitri, wielding a Dragon-type Sacred Gear.- Almighty Janitor: Like Aika, he takes multiple Pawns due to a dragon spirit, which we first see used against Freed Sellzen in Volume 3.
- Butt-Monkey: He can't seem to catch a break, between getting humiliated by Makoto and Hagane and berated by Sona. And then Makoto nearly crushes his dream of marrying Sona by beating her at chess.
- Forgiven, but Not Forgotten: While Makoto doesn't really give him a hard time for the low blow he dealt to him during the Dodgeball game, he makes sure to give him some grief for it while he's healing him from Sona's discipline.Saji: Oh man, my butt is destroyed!
Makoto: Now you know how my balls feel... - Inadvertent Entrance Cue: He enters Makoto and Sona's train cabin as Makoto suggests that someone likes her more than he does.
- Single-Target Sexuality: He is determined to impregnate Sona and marry her, in that order. Though, he considers the reverse of that order after Makoto says he wants to find a wife to live quietly with and potentially raise a couple of kids later.
Other Students
Matsuda and Motohama
Two perverted individuals that Makoto happens to be friends with.
- Male Gaze: You bet. Motohama can even measure women’s three sizes with his glasses.
- Mistaken for Romance: They think Makoto and Rias are dating while the two of them are simply having Lunch together and discussing the potential danger of Churches.
- Scary Shiny Glasses: Motohama can read women's three sizes with these.
- Teacher/Student Romance: They both fantasize about having this with the school's Counselor, Gabriel, who just happens to be Makoto's mother.
- Those Two Guys: Always up to some sort of perverted mischief, usually peeping on either the Kendo Club or the Girls' Locker Room and trying to hit on Makoto's mom.
- Vitriolic Best Buds: Despite Makoto's personality clashing with their's and their jealously of him being a Chick Magnet, they typically have his back and they even tip him off on a Panty Thief who ended up stealing Irina's underwear.
