The main character of the series. A good-natured cleric from a small village.
- Carry a Big Stick: Colleen's primary weapon is a flanged mace
. - Childish Tooth Gap: Colleen has a slight gap between her two front teeth, to help her look more like the naive Farm Girl she is.
- Farm Girl: Colleen is a shepherd's daughter who grew up in a farming village in the Green Isles and was one day blessed out of the blue with the extremely rare gift of divine magic.
- Girlish Pigtails: Colleen's hair is done up in two braids on either side of her head, in keeping with her status as a naive Farm Girl.
- Nice Girl: Colleen is sweet, kind, and compassionate to all people. Even ones who are jerks to her.
- Real Men Love Jesus: Colleen is a priestess of the Highfather who provides her comfort as well as healing spells.
- Only in It for the Money: Hilariously, Colleen is only at the Marble Gate Dungeon for this but that's because she's trying to raise money to help her village pay off the ruinous taxes that would otherwise result in them being slaughtered.
- Sweet Sheep: Colleen's family were shepherds and her magic manifests with rams as well as sheep motifs.
- Youthful Freckles: Colleen has these, in keeping with her Farm Girl status.

A dwarf warrior with a drinking problem.
- The Alcoholic: Randulf the warrior only goes into the dungeon to get money to get himself drunk from sunset to sunup.
- Broken Ace: Randulf is one of Marble Gate's most skilled and experienced delvers, but he now spends most of his time drunk and only goes delving to get booze money.
- Our Dwarves Are All the Same: Randulf is a stereotypical drunken dwarven warrior with a Scottish accent.
Ozwald "Ozzi" the thief

An ex-gang member with trust issues.
- Justified Criminal: Seems to be this from his own anecdotes.
- Only Sane Man: Is this to his first group.
