     Krishna
Avatar of Vishnu, prince, and staunch friend and advisor to the Pandavas.
  • The Ace: He is the World's Best Warrior and has expounded the Bhagavat Gita, the most sublime text on Vedic spirituality.
  • Badass Driver: Krishna is Arjuna's driver, and is supposedly the best there is.
  • The Chessmaster: To an extent. Part of his role in the story is to subtly manipulate the Pandavas into going to war, while remaining on their side. In some versions, he persuaded Draupadi to reject Karna because she was meant to marry Arjuna instead.
  • Chick Magnet: Has 16108 beautiful wives who love him. Many girls also have a crush on him.
  • Guile Hero: Doesn't take part in most of the action directly; his main role is to trick people into fighting for the Pandavas and use his words to persuade them to stay in the fight.
  • God in Human Form: One of the most famous examples. An Avatar of Vishnu, Krishna acts human most of the time, but sometimes, as in the Bhagavad Gita reveals his divine powers.
  • Hero of Another Story: Before befriending the Pandavas and getting involved with the Kurukshetra War, Krishna had a series of adventures which culminated in his overthrow of the tyrannical king of the Yadavas, his uncle Kamsa.
  • Humanoid Abomination: Because his brand of divinity makes him more a god than man, unlike Rama's, he's less a human and more a concept of Vishnu wearing a human skin. When he was a baby, his mother accidentally saw the inside of his mouth and witnessed the entire universe swirling inside it. She immediately fainted and Krishna gave her an amnesia as to preserve her sanity.
  • Lovable Rogue: Krishna is, especially in his childhood, a naughty kid who likes to steal his mother's butter and tease girls with his brother. He's also a genuinely heroic guy who defeated his tyrannical uncle along his gaggle of demons and a charming musician whose flute can makes the Earth sing.
  • The Smart Guy: Fulfills this role on the Pandava team, often coming up with strategies or talking characters out of their Idiot Ball moments.
  • You Cannot Grasp the True Form: He has to give Arjuna extra eyes in the Bhagavad Gita for the latter to be able to perceive his true form.
